Abstract

This study aims to determine the use of audio-visual media to improve learning outcomes for fourth grade students at Nabutaek Catholic Elementary School. The research subjects consisted of 24 people. This type of research is Classroom Action Research with data collection methods using tests and observation sheets. The results of the study show that learning using audio-visual media is proven to improve student learning outcomes. Teacher performance in cycle I was in the good category, namely 77.14%, increased again in cycle II to be in the very good category, namely, 89.81%. Student activity also increased from cycle I to cycle II, namely in cycle I students were in the good category, namely 72.09%, increasing again in cycle II, in the very good category, namely 93.37%. Likewise, the acquisition of test results also experienced an increase in learning outcomes, namely in cycle I the results of the classical learning mastery test were 54.16% in the sufficient category and experienced an increase in cycle II in the very good category with 91.66% classical learning completeness. Therefore it can be concluded that the use of audio-visual media can improve student learning outcomes on natural resource material for class IV Nabutaek Catholic Elementary School.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the characteristics of fluency reading difficulties and the factors influencing students' reading fluency in grade III. This research was conducted at SD Negeri 5 West Sabu. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques used by researchers in this study were oral tests, interviews, observation, and documentation. The focus of the research in this study was the teacher and students while the research subjects were all 30 class III students at SD Negeri 5 West Sabu, with 18 female students and 12 male students. The results showed that the characteristics of fluency reading difficulties in class III were pronouncing words and sentences incorrectly, spelling, omitting letters and words, adding words, flat intonation and not paying attention to punctuation marks, unable to string letters together, reading haltingly and not understanding reading content. The factors that cause difficulty reading fluently are internal and external factors. Internal factors include (difficulty recognizing letters, eliminating letters and words, lack of interest in reading, and physical factors). While external factors include (how to teach teachers and family environment factors).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in learning theme 6 sub-theme 2 learning 1 to improve student learning outcomes in class V SD GMIT NAIONI, Kupang city, academic year 2022/2023. This type of research is classroom action research carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, implementation/action, observation/evaluation, and reflection stages. The subjects of this research were the fifth grade students of SD GMIT NAIONI, totaling 33 students. The collected data were analyzed using the test method. The data obtained from the test method was then analyzed using a quantitative descriptive technique. The results of this study indicate that in learning theme 6, sub-theme 2, learning 1 using the PBL model can improve learning outcomes for fifth grade students at SD GMIT NAIONI, Kupang City, in the 2022/2023 academic year. In the first cycle, the average student learning outcomes were 69.55% in the low category and increased to 80.00% in the second cycle, which was in the high category. so the Problem Based Learning model can improve student learning outcomes on theme 6 sub-themes 2 learning 1 class V SD GMIT NAIONI city of Kupang 2022/2023 academic year.

Abstract

SDN Oetete 1 ialah salah satu sekolah yang ada di Kota Kupang yang saat ini telah menerapkan Kurukulum Merdeka di kelas I dan IV. Penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka dirasakan cukup sulit oleh guru karena guru tidak diberikan bekal pengetahuan berupa pelatihan atau seminar terkait Kurikulum <erdeka. Akibatnya guru memiliki pengetahuan yang minim mengenai Kurikulum Merdeka dan kurang pemahaman dalam pembuatan modul ajar. Melalui Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat yakni menyelenggarakan “Workshop Penyusunan Perangkat Pembelajaran Kurikulum Merdeka pada SDN Oetete 1 Kota Kupang” diharapkan guru-guru dapat memiliki pengetahuan mengenai Kurikulum Merdeka dan dapat menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran dengan komponen yang lengkap dan tepat sesuai kebutuhan dan karakteristik peserta didik. Metode yang dilakukan adalah identifikasi komponen modul ajar, pendampingan dan evaluasi. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah peningkatan 19% kemampuan guru menguasai P5, 100% guru memahami prinsip pembelajaran dan penilaian kurikulum Merdeka, 133% guru memahami bagaimana perencanaan dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran pada kurikulum merdeka dengan baik, 40% guru memahami pengelolaan asessmen Kurikulum Merdeka dengan baik, 17% guru memahami pelaporan kemajuan belajar dengan baik dan 250% guru mampu menyusun perangkat pembelajaran Kurikulum Merdeka dengan baik.
