Abstract

In addition to implementing appropriate technology that corresponds to the character and potential of the region, which in this case is the mangrove area, and focusing on increasing the economic benefits for villages and communities, the implementation of TTG also must pay attention to the environmental ecosystem. It is accordance with the concept of the blue economy. An appropriate technology that can be used for developing economic activity in the mangrove area but does not interfere with ecosystems is the crab breeding system, using the crab ball method. Crab ball is one of the methods for inserting crabs into a tool called a crab ball, where the use of the tool is not only friendly to the forest ecosystem, but also does not require a large financial investment. One of the areas with mangrove potential is in Tirtihargo Village, Bantul District, Yogyakarta. In this study, a feasibility study was conducted from the economic and financial sides to look at the potential of the implementation of this TTG. To measure the viability of the implementation of technology for the proper cultivation of crabs using the crab ball method using two analyses namely economic feasibility and financial feasibility analysis. On economic feasibility analysis using the benefit-cost ratio approach as well as on financial feasibility analysis using the three financial ratio approaches (payback period, net present value, and internal rate of return). The results found that this implementation of appropriate technology is valid and profitable based on the principles of economic and financial analysis criteria.

Abstract

One of the National Priorities developed by the Indonesian Republic Government through the second phase of the Nawacita Program is to change the development priorities that were previously centered in urban areas and switch to development in rural and outer areas. This study was carried out for optimizing government policies in developing the village economy through several programs and financial incentives village (dana desa) so that it can provide maximum benefits for the welfare of the village community. This study designed an empowerment model of economic assistance for rural communities with case studies in batik industrial center village (in Gulurejo Village, Lendah, Kulon Progo). Implementation of this model is not only suitable for batik industrial center villages but also can be used for villages with economic potential through handicraft industry centers such as batik, apparel, leather, wood, paper, metal, and furniture. The result of this study is the adaptation of the business incubation model for the design of the empowerment model of economic assistance for the Village Community Center for the batik industrial center villages where there is three main activity in a business incubation model: Pre-Incubation, Main-Incubation, and After-Incubation. In its adaptation of the Economic Assistance Model for the Village Community Center for the Batik Industry, three main stages in this model are the preparation stage for one month, the implementation stage for about 6 months, and the post-stage implementation with one month period. In the preparation stage, there are several activities carried out including socialization, survey and mapping, recruitment, selection, and dissemination of preparation results. The implementation phase consists of training management/business with online and offline methods. The post-assistance stage is monitoring and evaluation, expanding networking, business scale up, and digitization

Abstract

Wisata kuliner berpotensi untuk dijadikan obyek daya Tarik wisata. Dalam industri jasa kuliner, kepuasan pelanggan merupakan respons pelanggan terhadap ketidaksesuaian antara tingkat kepentingan sebelumnya dan kinerja aktual yang dirasakannya setelah pemakaian. Kuliner makanan sangat erat kaitannya dengan hygiene dan sanitasi yang merupakan permasalahan kesehatan yang kompleks dan bukan hal yang baru lagi. Telah terjadi banyak kasus kesehatan yang masih sering terjadi di dunia termasuk Indonesia salah satunya adalah akibat hygiene sanitasi yang rendah. Taman Kuliner Karangmalang UNY merupakan salah satu tempat kuliner yang berada di Karangmalang, Yogyakarta. Para pedagang di Taman Kuliner Karangmalang memilih tidak berjualan pada saat mahasiswa sedang berada pada liburan semester karena pengeluaran akan lebih besar (merugi). Selanjutnya pada Taman Kuliner Karangmalang juga mempunyai beberapa permasalahan yaitu sedikit kurang tertata dalam hal kebersihan dan juga kerapian. Oleh karenanya, pengelolaan dalam hal kebersihan dan kerapian dalam menunjang kualitas pelayanan di Taman Kuliner Karangmalang sangatlah penting. Melalui pengelolaan kebersihan dan juga kerapian tentunya akan menarik wisatawan local maupun mancanegara, sehingga pedagang tidak hanya akan mengandalkan penjualan dari mahasiswa-mahasiswa semata. Dari hasil program pengabdian masyakarat ini peserta memiliki gambaran terperinci mengenai kondisi tempat usahanya di Taman Kuliner Karang Malang (80%) dan memahami pentingnya pengelolaan pelayanan dalam hal kerapian dan kebersihan serta food safety (70%). Abstract

This research focuses on the banking industry in ASEAN. The ASEAN economy is one of the economic forces that needs to be considered. This is due to the fast and significant economic growth of ASEAN even in the midst of the 2008 financial crisis. In this study, we will look at the specific influence of banks, industry, macroeconomics and Country Governance Indicators in determining banking performance in ASEAN. The research period was taken during the post-crisis period, namely 2011 to 2019. The dependent variable used was bank performance as proxied by EARTA, while the independent variables were divided into 4 main categories, specific banks, industry, macroeconomics, and Country Governance Indicators. Country Governance Indicator variable using Corruption Index. The data used is sourced from the Osiris Database for all banks in ASEAN. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The results showed that the bank-specific variables; there are 4 variables that have a significant effect on banking performance, industry indicators have no effect on bank performance, macroeconomic specific variables have a significant effect on bank performance, while the Country Governance Indicator proxied by the Corruption Index has an effect on bank performance.
