Abstract

Traditional medicine still exists and is still believed by some people. One of the traditional treatment methods is the energy transfer treatment method which is practiced in the Kelurahan Sungai Bangkong area, Pontianak City District, Pontianak City. The main focus of this research problem is how this treatment still survives today, what is its history, and what are the meanings in energy transfer medicine practiced by Shaman. This study further explores how these practitioners interpret unconventional energy transfer treatment as a way to cure their patients' ailments. Qualitative method is the method used in this research and data were collected through interviews and observations. The results of this study describe what can be found in the field data and explain how the practice of energy transfer treatment is practiced.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang “Gerakan literasi Komunitas Pojok Diskusi Di Pontianak Pada Masa Pandemi COVID-19”. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Mendeskripsikan tentang gerakan literasi yang di bangun oleh Komunitas Pojok Diskusi dalam membangun budaya literasi serta menjelaskan tentang tantangan dan dinamika yang di hadapi Komunitas Pojok Diskusi di masa pandemi COVID-19. Penelitian menggunakan teori gerakan sosial (social movement) dalam menganalisis permasalahan dalam penelitian ini. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan bentuk metode kajian etnografi dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Proses pengumpulan data menggunakan cara obsevasi, wawancara mendalam, serta dokumentasi. Penelitian ini di lakukan di Komunitas Pojok Diskusi Kalimantan Barat. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut. Pertama Komunitas Pojok diskusi merupakan Komunitas yang berfokus pada pengembangan budaya literasi Pojok Diskusi memiliki strategi dan taktik dalam melakukan gerakan sosial, hal tersebut berupa kegiatan-kegiatan yang dibuat, jaringan yang dibangun, serta pendekata-pendekataan terhadap pihak luar. Kedua pada masa pandemi COVID-19 Komunitas Pojok Diskusi mengalami tantangan dan dinamika baru, hal tersebut disebabkan oleh faktor internal dan faktor eksternal. Dinamika serta tantangan tersebut menjadi suatu hal yang harus dihadapi oleh Komunitas Pojok Diskusi dalam dimensi gerakan sosial.

Abstract

Management of slum areas, especially in urban areas, is a very important element in management, development and public service efforts. The dominant factors that occur in slum areas include: uncontrolled population growth and lack of effective urban planning. The aim of this research is to evaluate the implementation of the KOTAKU program in Pontianak City. This research method uses a descriptive - qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of purposive sampling through observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data collection, data reduction, and data verification. The results of this research show that the evaluation of the implementation of the KOTAKU program in Pontianak City in terms of the 7 indicators that have been analyzed is included in the moderate slum category, and has been good in terms of community participation and relationships between related parties involved in implementing the development of the KOTAKU program. The programs that have been running in Pontianak City are in line with the main objective of the KOTAKU program to increase slum residents' access to basic infrastructure and better public services, especially the improvement and development of various aspects such as buildings, road environments, drinking water supply, environmental drainage, management. wastewater, waste disposal, public open space and fire safety. The KOTAKU program has been implemented well by facilitators who coordinate with sub-district officials, so that hearings with the community regarding maintenance of the KOTAKU area can run well..
