Abstract

The fulfillment spiritual and motivational needs is very necessary for people with mental health disorders, considering that spiritual needs and motivation play an important role in changing mental status. Motivation recovery is a positive attitude, oriented towards achieving goals, namely healing and the strength that encourages individuals to recover. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between spiritual needs and healing motivation in schizophrenic patients. The sample in this study was 63 respondents in the Pidie Health Center area. This research used analytic method with cross sectional design. The research instrument used was a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using the chi square test. The results of the univariate analysis of the majority of respondents have spiritual in the good category (81.0%). The majority of respondents had a motivation to recover in the good category (90.1%). The results of the bivariate test showed that the p-value = 0.002 indicated that there was a relationship between fulfilling spiritual needs and the motivation to heal patients with mental disorders. This study suggests to nurses and families that it is important to meet the spiritual needs of schizophrenic patients in order to increase patient motivation and accelerate healing.

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Beban kerja perawat berdampak kepada munculnya stres kerja tentu perlu ditinjau lebih lanjut oleh pihak manajemen. Munculnya stres kerja dapat diminimalisir dengan upaya seperti menganalisa perbandingan jumlah pasien dan perawat di ruangan, analisa kesesuaian kemampuan perawat dalam bekerja. Tujuan penelitian ini mengetahui hubungan antara beban kerja dan stres kerja perawat dalam menangani pasien gangguan jiwa di Ruang UPIP RSUD Tgk. Chik Di Tiro. Metode: Penelitian ini bersifat analitik dengan desain cross sectional. Populasi dan sampel dalam penelitian ini seluruh perawat di Ruang Jiwa RSUD Tgk. Chik Di Tiro Sigli yang berjumlah 33 orang. Tehnik pengambilan sampel adalah secara total sampling. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada tanggal 4-14 Juli 2022. Hasil: Hasil uji univariat didapatkan bahwa pendidikan responden mayoritas berpendidikan rendah (90,9%), jenis kelamin mayoritas laki-laki (66,7%), masa  kerja perawat mayoritas lama (51,5%), beban kerja perawat mayoritas sedang (57,6%) dan stress kerja perawat mayoritas sedang (57,6%). Hasil uji bivariat diperoleh ada hubungan antara beban kerja dan stres kerja perawat dalam menangani pasien gangguan jiwa (P=0,001). Kesimpulan: Disarankan kepada pihak RSU Tgk. Chik Di Tiro supaya lebih memperhatikan beban kerja dan stres kerja perawat dengan berkurangnya beban kerja dan stres kerja seorang perawat akan berdampak sangat baik pada kinerja seorang perawat.   Kata kunci: Beban Kerja, Gangguan Jiwa, Stres Kerja.
