Abstract

Artikel ini hendak mendeskripsikan pengelolaan pembelajaran program paket C mengenai aspek (1) perencanaan pembelajaran, (2) pelaksanaan pembelajaran, (3) evaluasi pembelajaran, dan (4) faktor-faktor pendukung dan penghambatnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Perencanaan pembelajaran pada PKBM Pelita, PKBM homeschooling primagama, dan SKB Kota Palembang disusun berdasarkan silabus dan RPP. (2) Pelaksanaan pembelajaran di PKBM Pelita bersifat klasikal dengan waktu yang fleksibel sesuai kesepakatan dengan siswa yaitu 1 kali dalam seminggu, PKBM homeschooling primagama bersifat privat, waktu belajar dari senin sampai kamis dan setiap siswa berbeda-beda, sedangkan di SKB Kota Palembang bersifat klasikal, waktu belajar 2 kali dalam satu minggu. (3) Evaluasi pembelajaran di PKBM Pelita dan SKB Kota Palembang terdiri dari aspek kognitif yang dievaluasi oleh tutor/guru, sedangkan di PKBM homeschooling primagama terdiri dari aspek kognitif dan afektif yang dievaluasi oleh tutor/guru. (4) Faktor pendorong warga belajar dalam mengikuti pelajaran di PKBM Pelita dan SKB Kota Palembang untuk memperoleh ijazah, pada PKBM homeschooling primagama yaitu motivasi dalam diri siswa untuk meraih cita-cita dan memperoleh ijazah untuk melanjutkan ke jenjang pendidikan yang lebih tinggi. Adapun faktor penghambat yaitu susahnya peserta didik membagi waktu belajar dengan bekerja, rasa malas, pengaruh gadget, dan masih kurang lengkapnya fasilitas belajar yang tersedia.  Abstract This article wishes to describe the learning management of the C package program on aspects of (1) learning planning, (2) implementation of learning, (3) learning evaluation, and (4) supporting and inhibiting factors. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The results showed that (1) Learning planning at PKBM Pelita, PKBM homeschooling primagama, and SKB of Palembang City were arranged based on syllabus and RPP. (2) Implementation of learning in PKBM Pelita is classical with flexible time according to agreement with students that is 1 times a week, PKBM homeschooling primagama is private, learning time from Monday to Thursday and every student is different, while in SKB Palembang is classical , study time 2 times a week. (3) Evaluation of learning in PKBM Pelita and SKB Palembang consist of cognitive aspect evaluated by tutor / teacher, while in PKBM homeschooling primagama consist of cognitive and affective aspect evaluated by tutor / teacher. (4) The motivating factor of the learning community in following the lesson in PKBM Pelita and SKB of Palembang City to obtain the diploma, in PKBM homeschooling primagama that is motivation in the students to reach the ideals and obtain the diploma to continue to higher education level. The inhibiting factor is the difficulty of learners to share learning time with work, feeling lazy, the influence of gadgets, and still less complete learning facilities are available.

Abstract

Tujuan pelatihan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis cerpen siswa melalui metode sugesti imajinatif. Dengan adanya pelatihan ini, pembelajaran menulis cerpen yang dilakukan oleh para instruktur, para peserta yang merupakan guru gugus Mata Pelajaran Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia di SMP Kecamatan Sumbawa dapat menyusun RPP pembelajaran menulis cerpen serta menulis cerpen karya sendiri.

Abstract

Artikel ini menganalisis buku teks bahasa Indonesia berjudul Ekspresi Diri dan Akademik SMK Kelas X. Metode dalam analisis ini adalah deskripsi kualitatif dengan menggunakan teori kriteria buku teks yang baik menurut Tarigan dan Tarigan (1983). Selain itu, buku teks ini juga dianalisis berdasarkan Kurikulum 2013 untuk melihat kesesuaian pendekatan saintifiknya. Berdasarkan data, diketahui bahwa buku teks ini sudah memenuhi kriteria kelayakan isi, kelayakan bahasa, kelayakan penyajian, dan kelayakan kegrafikaan. Selain itu, buku teks ini juga sudah menggunakan 4 pendekatan saintifik yaitu mengamati, menanya, menalar, dan mencoba. Berdasarkan hasil analisis tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa buku teks bahasa Indonesia berjudul Ekspresi Diri dan Akademik SMK Kelas X sudah layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

The advancement of technology demands that teachers use technological media and continuously explore their potential for making improvements in teaching. In line with this, the Teacher Professional Education Program (PPG) strives to bring about these improvements and is mandatory for prospective professional teachers to possess. Regrettably, the current PPG Program at FKIP Unsri lacks a digital assessment component. Hence, the significance of this research lies in identifying the needs of both students and lecturers for a digital assessment. The findings will contribute to the design of further developmental research, aiming to create a comprehensive set of assessment items tailored to the digital realm. The respondents were purposively taken based on one main criteria; they were active lecturers and students in the New Technologies for Teaching and Learning Course at PPG Unsri 2023. As the result, there were 2 lecturers and 46 students participating as research samples. A questionnaire was distributed to the respondents. It consisted of 16 questions divided into 5 aspects of data collection. The data obtained was then descriptively analyzed and interpreted. The result shows (1) students and lecturers require the development of interactive questions tools compared to those currently available in the LMS of PPG. (2) Students and lecturers agree that the developed product should be able to assess students’ understanding in the cognitive/knowledge domain at various levels of Bloom’s Taxonomy. Based on the assessment by lecturers, the development of questions will vary from level C3 to C6. However, it is not ruled out that there may be questions of LOTS level included. (3) Students and lecturers are familiar with the use of the LMS as a digital tool in assisting learning. Therefore, there should be a further research design in developing the digital learning assessment for the course.

Abstract

Technology use creates new insights to explore thoroughly online foreign language learning. This study aims to examine students’ anxiety in online classes under four research objectives. They are (1) to uncover students’ anxiety levels in online foreign language learning; (2) to investigate the effects of anxiety levels in online learning on students’ English achievement; (3) to reveal factors affecting student’s anxiety; and (4) to investigate students’ strategies to handle their anxiety in online learning. Questionnaires were distributed to 72 students from a public university in South Sumatra, Indonesia. In addition, a semi-structured interview was also administered. The data was described quantitatively and qualitatively. The findings show that most students felt a medium level of anxiety in online learning. The students did not significantly experience unusual levels of anxiety as they were accustomed to technology tools and found no problems with that. A negative correlation between students’ anxiety scale on online learning and their academic achievement was identified. Indirect feedback, minimum teacher-and-student presence, and the absence of eye contact could be the main factors of online learning failure. Peer intimidation and fear of speaking English might also be the sources of students’ anxiety in online learning. Students also stated that there are no specific ways to handle anxiety since it is viewed as an unstable foreign language learning factor, which can be changed based on the learning context. At last, it is expected that the result of the study can raise students’ awareness of how online class can reduce their anxiety.
