Abstract

This study aims to: 1) find out the role of boarding school administrators in fostering the character of students in the disciplines of Pondok Thoriqul Huda Ponorogo; 2) Knowing the forms of character building for students in the disciplines of Pondok Thoriqul Huda Ponorogo. This research is qualitative. The primary data source is the head of the boarding school and the board of management of the Thoriqul Huda boarding school. Data collection techniques in this study were observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique is data reduction, data presentation, and data conclusion.The results of this study can be seen that 1) the role of the board administrators in fostering the disciplinary character of students, namely: a) awakening students to perform congregational prayers at asr and dawn; b) guiding the students in carrying out activities in the Islamic Boarding School; c) discipline the students in the departure of the judiciary; d) impose sanctions on students who violate the rules of the order of the cottage; e) motivating students to study harder in Islamic boarding schools, while the role played by board administrators is active. Furthermore, the results of the second research) form the formation of students’ disciplinary character through a participatory approach, the form of guidance is divided into two, namely: a) socialization of the rules of the boarding school when students register at the cottage witnessed by parents; b) routine or programmed socialization once a month precisely on the fourth week or called yaumul reckoning for the students.

Abstract

This study aims to systematically measure and analyze the effect of implementing the global citizen project model on the development of Civic Virtue attitudes in students. using a quantitative approach of associative pre-experimental designs with the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design research method carried out on one experimental group without a control group. data collection with pre-test and post-test, questionnaires, and documentation. Using parried sample T test analysis, simple linear regression and coefficient of determination, with a sample of 32 respondents in the experimental class. The results of the study showed that the global citizen project learning model had a positive and significant effect on the Civic Virtue of students at SMAN 1 Babadan. The ability of the global citizen project (X) in explaining the Civic Virtue value (Y) was 76.7% and the remaining 23.3% was explained by the influence of other variables not studied by the researcher. The implications of the results of this study indicate that learning using a systematic model will affect the characteristics of students, so this needs to be considered by teachers when implementing learning in the classroom so that learning objectives are achieved by paying attention to the influence on student characteristics.

Abstract

Pembelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan (PKn) di perguruan tinggi masih kerap bertumpu pada transmisi materi normatif, padahal mahasiswa dituntut mampu menimbang bukti dan berunding di tengah arus disinformasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan dan optimalisasi gamifikasi digital, menganalisis perubahan pola argumentasi dan partisipasi mahasiswa yang menyertainya, serta mengidentifikasi hambatan dan strategi fasilitasinya. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus intrinsik pada satu kelas kolaboratif lintas semester Program Studi PPKn Universitas PGRI Yogyakarta (32 mahasiswa; delapan pertemuan, 6 Oktober–28 November 2025). Data dihimpun melalui observasi partisipatif, petikan forum Moodle, dua sesi debriefing, wawancara dengan enam mahasiswa, dan dokumen pembelajaran, kemudian dianalisis dengan analisis tematik refleksif atas 52 unit makna. Analisis menghasilkan empat tema: (1) bukti mulai mengubah dasar argumentasi, ditandai pergeseran dari penilaian normatif menuju pemeriksaan kategori dan batas klaim, dengan proporsi unggahan berujukan naik dari 24,04% menjadi 51,70%; (2) partisipasi menjadi lebih dialogis tetapi tidak merata; (3) kompetisi skor dapat menggeser tujuan deliberasi sehingga aturan poin perlu direvisi; dan (4) dukungan dosen dan akses menata ulang kesempatan berpartisipasi. Perubahan tersebut berlangsung bersamaan dengan revisi aturan insentif, scaffolding, dan dukungan akses, sehingga tidak dapat diatribusikan semata-mata pada gamifikasi. Dalam batas kasus ini, gamifikasi digital lebih tepat dipahami sebagai konteks latihan deliberasi yang manfaatnya bergantung pada insentif yang menghargai mutu alasan dan pada fasilitasi reflektif dosen.
