Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana resiliensi psikologis dan peranannya terhadap kualitas hidup terkait kesehatan pada remaja panti asuhan. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 200 remaja panti asuhan yang dipilih dengan teknik convenience sampling dari 12 panti asuhan di Jakarta dan Bekasi. Penelitian yang dilakukan menggunakan adaptasi alat ukur resiliensi dan kualitas hidup terkait kesehatan. Hasil uji regresi menemukan bahwa resiliensi psikologis memiliki peran terhadap seluruh dimensi kualitas hidup terkait kesehatan. Resiliensi psikologis berperan sebesar 16,3% pada dimensi kesejahteraan fisik, 8,2% pada dimensi kesejahteraan psikologis, 8,1% pada dimensi hubungan orang tua dan otonomi, 5,0% pada dimensi dukungan sosial dan teman sebaya dan 5,5% pada dimensi lingkungan sekolah. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan untuk pembuatan program-program yang bertujuan meningkatkan kualitas hidup terkait kesehatan pada remaja panti asuhan.

Abstract

Mother in law also has role to support the success of exclusive breastfeeding, beside biological mother. Thisstudy aimed to investigate differences between perceived breastfeeding social support from mother-in-law on working and not working-women. There are 200 sample of this study, which is divided to 2 groups of 100 working-women and 100 not working-women. Perceived breastfeeding social support scale (27 item, α = .95) is used in this study and it is constructed by using social-functional support theory. Result shows that there is significant differences between perceived breastfeeding social support from mother in law on working and notworking women (t (198)=2.42; p= .016; p < .05). Emotional support and informational support from mother-inlaw more perceived by not working women than working mom, in the other hand, working women and not working women have no different perception about instrumental support. Result of this study may be one of information that can be used to inform mother-in-law about how precious social support is to exclusive breastfeeding.

Abstract

Training of gratitude is expected to grow these factors. Being grateful can lead to positive emotions that may create acceptance the conditions of self and positive social relationships. This training program was conducted for a full day, including induction and release of negative emotions, lesson about gratitude, mutual influence, contemplation, and pouring a sense of gratitude in writing. Training is given to 37 students of class X at SMKN 31 Jakarta. Pre and post test was conducted before and after training, using VAS (Visual Analog Scale) and PANAS (Positive affect-negative affect schedule). The effect of the training was analyzed by counting the change of mean from pre to post test score for each scale. The result showed that there are an increased of positive emotion score means after the training, from 6.92 to 7.41 for VAS and from 3.53 to 3.81 for PANAS score. Then it may concluded that the gratitude training program improve the positive emotion of the students.

Abstract

Vocational students feel that it is more difficult to compete for jobs after completing their education. In fact, they are expected to find it easier to get a job because they have been equipped with specific skills that are in accordance with their majors. Through the training, it is hoped that it can help vocational students to prepare themselves to compete in the job market. The method used is counseling and providing information to 27 SMKN 39 Jakarta students who will prepare for internships. Based on the statistical analysis of paired samples t-test, there was an increase of 28.89 points between before and after the participants attended the training. This shows that the training provided is effective in preparing participants to meet the job market demands. Siswa SMK merasa bahwa lebih sulit bersaing untuk mendapatkan pekerjaan setelah menyelesaikan pendidikannya. Padahal, lulusan SMK diharapkan lebih mudah mendapatkan pekerjaan dikarenakan sudah dibekali keterampilan khusus yang sesuai dengan jurusannya. Melalui kegiatan pelatihan yang dilakukan ini, diharapkan dapat membantu siswa SMK untuk mempersiapkan diri bersaing di dunia kerja. Metode yang digunakan yaitu dengan penyuluhan dan pemberian informasi pada 27 siswa SMKN 39 Jakarta yang akan bersiap untuk magang. Berdasarkan analisis statistik t-test sampel berpasangan, terdapat peningkatan sebesar 28,89 poin antara sebelum dan setelah peserta mengikuti pelatihan. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan pelatihan yang dilakukan efektif dalam mempersiapkan peserta memasuki dunia kerja.
