Abstract

The online learning system (in the network) is a learning system without face-to-face meetings between teachers and students but is carried out online using the internet network. The teacher must ensure that teaching and learning activities continue, even though students are at home. The solution is that teachers are required to be able to design instructional media as innovations by utilizing online media. According to KBBI, ethics is the science of what is good and bad and about moral rights and obligations (morals). A good understanding of digital ethics will be able to reduce hoaxes, bullying, cyberbullying, hate speech, and leakage of personal data. Morals are the customs of the rules of decency. Benchmarks in behaving morally in accordance with values, ethics, or decency in accordance with the values of the rules or truth. Therefore this study aims to awaken students in morality and ethics even though the lessons take place online.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the role of Pancasila and Citizenship Education (PPKn) in forming an attitude of tolerance and acceptance of diversity among students at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Medan State University (FIS UNIMED) using qualitative research methods. . This research involves collecting data through interviews and in-depth observations of FIS UNIMED students. The research findings highlight the role of PPKn materials in better understanding the value of tolerance, the importance of respecting differences and efforts to build harmony between individuals. The analysis shows that citizenship education plays an important role in shaping students' attitudes towards tolerance and acceptance of diversity, but also highlights the expansion of materials and more inclusive approaches to deepen understanding and concrete actions to achieve equality and advance social conditions in the university environment. The implications of this research provide a strong foundation for developing PPKn programs that are more holistic and relevant in facing the increasingly complex challenges of diversity in society.

Abstract

In Indonesia, ethnic and cultural diversity provides its own color in the dynamics of political participation, including the Batak tribe which has unique cultural and social characteristics. Jl. Taud Siderojo in Deli Serdang Regency is one of the areas inhabited by the Batak community. The Batak people are famous for their spirit of togetherness (dalihan na tolu), courage and openness in expressing opinions. These cultural values ​​are very influential in various aspects of life, including politics. Batak youth in this region are not only the successors of tradition and culture, but also important actors in local and national political processes.

Abstract

Education has an important role as an agent of change in developing a culture of social justice. This article analyzes how the education system can be an effective instrument for promoting equality, inclusivity and justice in society. Through a critical pedagogical approach and a curriculum based on social justice values, education can form individuals who are aware of the importance of human rights and justice. This study also explores the challenges and opportunities faced by educational institutions in implementing the concept of social justice, as well as providing strategic recommendations for maximizing the role of education in creating a more just and equal society.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the challenges faced in implementing the Pancasila and Civics Education (PPKn) learning model in the Merdeka Curriculum at SMP Negeri 27 Medan. The research method used is qualitative research with a case study approach. The location of this research is SMP Negeri 27 Medan because this school has adopted the Merdeka Curriculum with a focus on Civics. Data were collected through interviews with Civics teachers, and document analysis related to the curriculum and learning models applied. The results showed several challenges faced in implementing the Civics learning model, including, among others, teachers being required to be more creative to maximize learning design to make it more interesting and so that students do not feel bored and students' resistance to changes in learning approaches. This research provides in-depth insight into the practical and conceptual challenges that need to be overcome to improve the effectiveness of the Civics learning model in the Merdeka Curriculum. The implications of these findings can be used as a basis for developing better educational policies and implementing more effective strategies in facilitating Civics learning at the junior high school level.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk mengidentifikasi dan menggambarkan model-model strategi inovatif pembelajaran PKn yang efektif di era digital,menganalisis faktor pendukung dan penghalang dalam penerapannya (termasuk kesiapan infrastruktur, kapasitas guru, dan kebijakan) serta menyusun rekomendasi praktis untuk merancang pembelajaran PKn yang mampu membangun paradigma warga negara aktif dan partisipatif di ranah digital.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi pustaka yang digunakan sebagai dasar untuk mengembangkan pengetahuan penelitian antara lain penelitian ini dihadapkan langsung dengan teks yang disajikan, bukan dengan informasi lapangan atau melalui saksi mata berupa kejadian, peneliti hanya berhadapan langsung dengan sumber yang sudah ada di perpustakaan dengan memanfaatkan sumber berupa jurnal, buku, kamus, majalah dan sumber lain tanpa melakukan riset lapangan.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan berbagai strategi pembelajaran inovatif berbasis teknologi informasi memiliki dampak signifikan terhadap peningkatan kualitas pemahaman, sikap, serta partisipasi peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran PKn. Dengan demikian kesimpulan dari pada penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan (PKn) memiliki peran strategis dalam membentuk warga negara aktif, cerdas, dan berkarakter, khususnya di era digital yang penuh dengan tantangan sekaligus peluang.
