Abstract

This research examines gotong royong as a tradition in the village of Bah Tobu where the people have ethnic and religious diversity. Gotong royong is still being carried out intensively because it can maintain harmony between residents. The purpose of this research is to find out the existence and implementation of gotong royong in the village of Bah Tobu. The method used in this study uses a qualitative approach with a case study research design. The results of this study are that the implementation of mutual cooperation in the village of Bah Tobu is going well through collaboration between residents and the village government. Mutual cooperation in the village of Bah Tobu is divided into There are two forms, namely inter-religious cooperation and intra-religious mutual cooperation. In intra-religious mutual cooperation which is carried out only within members of one religion, namely in the social sector such as cleaning and building houses of worship as well as religious activities and also in the economic field including raising funds for events religious celebrations. While Inter-religious Activities are carried out in two fields, namely the economic and social fields by all villagers regardless of religious differences which are carried out in the social sector, namely environmental hygiene and an event organized by the village government while in the economic field, namely collecting funds for village development or activities held in the village. The conclusion from this research is not all mutual cooperation can be carried out by all residents, but there is also mutual cooperation which is only carried out based on the scope of religion. Then in mutual cooperation in Bah Tobu village there are those who use elements of coercion and also voluntarily. The element of coercion in question is if a citizen does not take part in a mutual cooperation activity, he will be subject to sanctions in the form of fines.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the role of Pancasila and Citizenship Education (PPKn) in forming an attitude of tolerance and acceptance of diversity among students at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Medan State University (FIS UNIMED) using qualitative research methods. . This research involves collecting data through interviews and in-depth observations of FIS UNIMED students. The research findings highlight the role of PPKn materials in better understanding the value of tolerance, the importance of respecting differences and efforts to build harmony between individuals. The analysis shows that citizenship education plays an important role in shaping students' attitudes towards tolerance and acceptance of diversity, but also highlights the expansion of materials and more inclusive approaches to deepen understanding and concrete actions to achieve equality and advance social conditions in the university environment. The implications of this research provide a strong foundation for developing PPKn programs that are more holistic and relevant in facing the increasingly complex challenges of diversity in society.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of finding out the development and dynamics of employment law in Indonesia. This research method is to use a descriptive qualitative method with a literature study approach. The results of this research show that since the beginning of independence. In Indonesia, labor law has experienced significant developments. Currently, labor law in Indonesia regulates the rights and obligations of workers and employers, as well as determining settlement procedures. Employment disputes. However, even though there have been positive changes in labor law in Indonesia, there are still several problems that need to be addressed, such as injustice in wages, difficulties in obtaining workers’ rights, and there are still many cases of violations of workers’ rights. In conclusion. The conclusion from the discussion above shows that the development of labor law in Indonesia is very dynamic. From the 1950 Employment Law to the 2020 Omnibus Law, these regulations have undergone significant changes to accommodate needs. Society, the world of work, and economic growth. The importance of protecting workers’ rights, determining fair wages, and resolving industrial relations conflicts are crucial aspects of labor law. Although efforts to increase investment and create new jobs are recognized through the Omnibus Law, special attention to protection is needed. Workers’ rights and conflict resolution so that industrial relations remain balanced and fair.

Abstract

Indonesia, with its dynamic democratic process, is often characterized by patronage politics and money politics during the Regional Head General Election (PILKADA). This phenomenon has become an integral part of the political reality of this country. Patronage politics, which involves the use of power or position to influence political support, and political practices involving money that financially benefit interest groups, have a significant impact on the democratic process. This research aims to understand how democratic patronage and money political practices are carried out by candidates candidates based on regional election experience by UNIMED PPkn students. There are several strategies to overcome this problem, and implementing these strategies must involve cooperation between the government, supervisory institutions, civil society and the media in order to create a cleaner and more transparent political environment.

Abstract

The Mini Research Assignment for Group 4 from Class B PPKn 2022 is entitled: "Division of inheritance for girls according to the customary laws of the Mandailing community and Islamic civil law (case study of the Tanjung Mompang village community)". This Mini Research examines the position of daughters of the Mandailing Indigenous community in the distribution of inheritance according to the customary law that applies in the Mandailing community as well as according to the distribution of Islamic civil inheritance. The aim of this research is to find out the position of daughters of the Mandailing Indigenous community in the distribution of inheritance according to the customary law that applies in the Mandailing community. This Mini Research uses Qualitative Research Methods with qualitative descriptive research presented descriptively. Data collection techniques Through literature studies by collecting some information related to the research field such as books, journals, scientific works and many other references for collecting relevant data.
