Abstract

The application of the field trip method aims as an alternative means for teachers to help students' interest in improving the ability to write essays that were previously a barrier to students in developing writing skills for each student. The field trip method also functions as an activity to eliminate the boredom of each student in learning, which teaches students to provide knowledge outside the classroom.

Abstract

This research is Classroom Action Research. The research was carried out at UPT SD Negeri 060843 West Medan, with a sample of 20 students consisting of 8 man and 12 women. Learning is carried out using the Teaching at The Right Level approach which focuses on the level of students' understanding. This research data is presented in the form of tables and graphs. The results of research in cycle I obtained data from 5 students (25%) with very proficient criteria, 5 students (25%) with proficient criteria, and 10 students (50%) with not yet proficient criteria. and in cycle II, data was obtained that 8 students (45%) had entered the very proficient criteria, 7 students (35%) had entered the proficient criteria, and 4 students (20%) were still at the not yet proficient criteria. Based on the results of research carried out on learning material on Pancasila Education, Diversity of National Cultures in the Indonesian Territory using the Right Level Teaching approach in class V elementary school, it can be declared successful.

Abstract

The use of learning approaches that never change has an impact on low learning outcomes in the subject of science, this analysis was conducted to apply the Teaching at The Right Level (TaRL) learning method to improve the learning outcomes of the subject of science of class V students of UPT SD Negeri 060843 Medan Barat. This study uses the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method which will be carried out in 2 cycles. This study involved 20 students of class V of UPT SD Negeri 060843 Medan Baratconsisting of 10 males and 10 females. The results of the study showed that in the pre-cycle stage the average learning outcomes of students were 35% and in cycle I there was an increase, namely an average of 65% of students and in cycle two there was an increase of 100%. From these results it can be concluded that the Teaching at The right Level (TaRL) learning approach is effective in improving the learning outcomes of the subject of science of class V students of SD Negeri 060843 Medan Barat.

Abstract

The Merdeka Curriculum is a reference for developing abilities and teachers are freed to create learning tools. The Independent Curriculum creates flexible learning for students and educators. Low learning outcomes have an impact on student motivation and learning outcomes due to many factors such as lack of parental support and understanding of the importance of education. The method used in this research is classroom action research (PTK). PTK is carried out using the Teaching at The Right Level (TaRL) approach and the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. This research aims to see improvements in student learning outcomes through the TaRL approach in Indonesian language subjects at UPT SD Negeri 060843 West Medan. This research was carried out using II Cycles, each stage of which is in accordance with the model from Suharsimi Arikunto (2021) which is formed from design, implementation, observation and feedback. Based on the research that has been conducted, it can be concluded that the application of the TaRL approach to improve student learning outcomes is going well and successfully. It can be seen from the results of observations of teacher activity in cycle I which reached 80% then increased in cycle II to 90%. Likewise, the results of student observations in cycle I reached 80% and increased in cycle II to 90%. The learning outcomes of class V students have increased significantly. It can be proven based on the percentage of complete learning outcomes of students who obtained 70% in the pre-cycle, then by carrying out classroom actions the results increased to 80% in cycle I and 90% in cycle II.
