Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe semiotic analysis on Picnic Poetry that has iconic meaning of icon, index, and symbols. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive, because the data and results of this study are dominant in the form of words. Data collection techniques using documentation methods. In this study, the signs contained in poetry are interesting discussions to analyze. The signs found in the poem are not found at random, but are examined repeatedly until the signs found are true. . The results of the data analysis showed a semiotic contained in Karya Picnic Work Joko Pinurbo. The results of the data analysis showed a semiotic contained in Picnic Poetry includes (1) sadness, (2) life, (3) excitement, (4) excited, (5) shocked. Based on the results of the data, the conclusion of the study, namely by the analysis of semiotic analysis in the poem, readers will understand the various signs in the Picnic Work Joko pinurbo poem that contains the phenomenon that occurs in the new corona outbreak that hit the world, also marked by humor and game of words, containing satire and criticism of the government. Abstract

Educational-themed songs contain metaphorical language styles. Metaphor is a style used to equate something else called figuratively. The purpose of the research is to describe the types of metaphors in education-themed songs and implications in learning. Qualitative with descriptive method with data source 20 education-themed songs. Data collection techniques in the form of data reduction techniques. Data collection instruments use tools in the form of data collection tables. The data validity test technique uses the technique of increasing persistence. The results of the research found anthropomorphic metaphors 6 data, animal metaphors 6 data, metaphors from concrete to abstract 11 data, and synesthesic metaphors 6 data. In this study, metaphors from concrete to abstract were found the most. This research is implicated in Indonesian language learning at the junior high school (KD. 3.7 dana KD. 4.7) and high school (KD. 3.17 dana 4.17) levels. The implication of educational-themed songs with physical elements of poetry, namely language styles, especially metaphors. The lyrics of educational-themed songs can be implied in learning poetry. Educators can utilize it to be used as poetry learning. Based on these results, it is concluded that the song created by the author includes poetry literary works, poetry is inseparable from language style. One of the language styles found in songs is metaphor, educational themed songs can be used as learning materials at the junior and senior high school levels. Educators choose the material to be used in learning to increase students' interest which is implied in learning poetry in songs.

Abstract

Madurese Short Movies are used not only as entertainments but also as a medium for instilling ideology and hegemony. The aim of this research is to reveal the practice of power or hegemony in Madurese short films between the government and society. Revealing the practice of power cannot be separated from the role of language used by the government towards society. The language used in politics contains power, so there needs to be a critical attitude that the public needs to know.The data obtained while watching YouTube is recorded for analysis. The hegemony analysis in this study uses Fairclough critical discourse analysis (CDA) dimension model in the form of description, interpretation, and explanation. The results of this research show that hegemony is found in Madurese short films with political themes through linguistic features (1) lexical processes, (2) metaphors, (3) declarative sentence mode, (4) relational modality, (5) personal pronouns. Hegemony through lexical processes shows childish elements carried out by characters that aim to win a goal. The lexical process shows the existence of hegemony between the authorities and society. The authorities use lexical processes that lead to childish attitudes by using the words gulatanah and jhâ' malek. In the metaphor aspect, there is hegemony, that is, the authorities use other terms to win the village elections. The use of metaphor leads to the expression, namely jhâ' kelopanmebelih copa, which means don't forget who helped in the village election process. In the declarative sentence mode, hegemony is telling the listener that this leader is not a kind of legacy so that anyone can become a leader. Meanwhile, the relational modality of hegemony tends to inform and invite people to choose the potential leader. In personal pronouns, hegemons tend to use the word "engko'" as evidence that this "engko'" has the power and strength to defeat the opponent. The conclusion of this research is that Madurese short films are used as a medium to maintain power, persuade, control and as a form of instilling ideology.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the effectiveness of the Team Games Tournament (TGT) learning model in the context of culturally responsive learning. TGT is a game-based learning strategy that is considered capable of accommodating the cultural diversity of students and increasing their active role in the learning process. Through literature studies, data were collected from various scientific articles discussing the implementation of TGT with adaptation to local culture. The analysis was carried out using a descriptive and interpretive approach to describe how the implementation of TGT can create fun, interactive, and meaningful learning. The results of the study showed that TGT was effective in increasing active participation of students, building self-confidence, and making learning experiences more relevant to their cultural background. However, studies related to the meaningfulness of learning activities in a cultural context are still limited, so further research is needed to explore this aspect in more depth.

Abstract

This study aims to explore innovations in the development of experiential learning models to foster creativity and active learning in students. This study is based on the low participation and creativity of students in learning drama texts. This is due to the learning methods used by teachers who are still conventional and do not involve students enough, resulting in teacher-centered learning and minimal space for exploring ideas. Through the development in this study, students are invited to understand the theory and connect it with authentic experiences, thereby actively engaging in reflection, experimentation, and direct application activities. This study uses a classroom action research method that was carried out for two cycles and involved all students in class XI 6 SMAN Mumbulsari. Data collection was carried out through participatory observation, semi-structured interviews, document analysis, and creativity questionnaires. The results of the study showed a significant increase in the aspects of creativity and active learning of students. Initially, using conventional learning methods, the level of student participation was only 30%, with only 30% of students actively participating and asking questions. However, after using the experiential learning model, this figure jumped to 85%. This change in values occurs because students are not only placed as spectators in the learning process, but as co-creators who are responsible for their own learning process.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan etika lingkungan yang terdapat dalam novel Serdadu Pantai Karya Laode Insan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu baca dan catat. Adapun teknik dan pengumpulan dalam pengumpulan data yaitu (1) membaca novel Serdadu Pantai Karya Laode Insan secara berulang ulang (2) menandai hal hal tertentu yang sesuai dengan tujuan penelitian yakni etika lingkugan yang terkadung dalam novel Serdadu Pantai Karya Laode Insan. (3) menarik kesimpulan. Metode analisis data pada penelitian yaitu metode deskriptif, metode ini untuk mendeskripsikan data yang telah ditemukan. Hasil penelitian ini adalah Novel ini memuat unsur ekologi yang ada didalamnya, unsur ekologi ini berupa etika lingkungan yaitu sikap hormat terhadap alam, sikap tanggung jawab terhadap alam, solidaritas terhadap alam, sikap kepedulian terhadap alam, sikap tidak menggangu kehidupan alam.
