Abstract

Sustainable urban spaces are the right of every urban dweller. As an eminent user of urban spaces, the preferences of citizens need to be considered in developing an urban environment. Urban dweller preferences include various aspects, which include their favourite activities and hobbies. Citizen’s favourite activities and hobbies are commonly accommodated by establishing urban communities. Consequently, these communities should be able to provide recommendations for ensuring effective and efficient sustainable development. This study aims to formalize the connection between reasonable development based on urban community activities. Bandung Raid Party was the urban community elected for this study in consideration of their direct interaction with urban spaces, their members coming from various backgrounds, and their ripe age in comparison with other similar communities. Key data and information are gathered through literature study and structured interviews with strategic actors from the community, which are later analyzed using content analysis. After comprehensive analysis and consideration, the research shows how the Bandung Raid Party community observes and appreciates the quality of urban spaces where they hold their activities. The study also shows that their activities can be supported by developing and improving sustainable pedestrian access, public spaces, and urban iconic landmarks. These findings can be initial evidence of how urban communities can provide significant input for sustainable urban development.

Abstract

Abstract

Dayamega Pratama.

Abstract

This research aims to optimize decision making in selecting KOSEKA (District Census Coordinator) candidates within the scope of the Langkat Regency Central Statistics Agency. The problem found in the KOSEKA selection process was that the selection process still used manual methods so that it was very time inefficient and had an impact on the final selection results not being in accordance with the required qualifications. For this reason, there must be a selection system which, if implemented, will produce effective and efficient decisions, namely utilizing a decision support system using the Entropy method as weighting criteria and Complex Proportional Assessment (COPRAS) as the final calculation method for each alternative. Based on the results of research conducted taking into consideration the criteria used, namely experience, training transport costs, communication skills, honesty, appearance and location of residence, a Utility value for each alternative has been obtained with the highest score, namely Claudia Riswandi (A8) who has a score 100%, followed by Aprida Br Sitepu (A2) in second place with a score of 97.69566969% and so on.

Abstract

Rani Motor Workshop in North Sumatra faces several problems in its operations, such as inefficient inventory management, late delivery of spare parts, and unstructured distribution planning. This research aims to overcome these problems by integrating the Distribution Requirement Planning (DRP) method in its distribution information system using a research and development (R&D) approach and a waterfall development model. By detailing the flow of data input, distribution planning, parts delivery, and distribution performance recording, this research proposes a framework that integrates the research & development method and the waterfall system development method. Through these steps, this research aims to improve the efficiency and timeliness of delivery. The results of this research are expected to make a positive contribution to the operations of Bengkel Rani Motor, by proving that the implementation of a distribution information system using the DRP method can optimize stock, reduce delays, and increase customer satisfaction.
