Abstract

Teaching Arabic calligraphy to write the Noble Qur’an among middle class students in the Holy Qur’an education program from one of the educational programs at the sunan Ampel Higher Institute, Maulana Malik Ebrahim State Islamic University Malang in 2022. Teaching Arabic calligraphy can have a great impact on writing the Noble Qur’an. The Arabic Naskh script is taught using the display method and its effect to improve the writing of the Noble Qur’an among students of the middle class E in the Holy Quran Teaching Program at the sunan ampel Higher Institute, Maulana Malik Ibrahim State Islamic University Malang in 2022. To obtain these results, the researcher searches Classroom Action or procedural research uses The teacher is a researcher, so he is responsible for the research. The results of the first round show the maximum results, the data partly an increase in education results from the first encounter data to the second by 4.00 points from the lowest score from 68.2857143 to 72.2857143 However, after cumulative analysis of the average value of the first session from the first encounter and the second, the two highest score 77, and the lowest Score 59, average class value 70.5789474, KKM 65 achievement with a maximum of 27 people (77%) of the total student population up to 35 people, KKM 65 achievement with a minimum of 8 people (23%), and in the second round with 5.00 points of average class value 75.83 to 82.8. While the results of the cumulative analysis of the average value of the second session from the third and fourth meetings, the highest score was 88, the lowest score was 72.5, the average class value was 79.3142857, and the achievement of KKM 65 up to 35 people (100%) out of a total of 35 students. These data show that the research success indicators have been achieved (well's teaching) and will be consistent with the previously defined learning success indicators.

Abstract

Abstract : This research aims to determine the effect of word guessing games on the daily speaking skills of class II at junior high school students Maarif Singosari Malang. because most of the students' problems are the lack of memorizing vocabulary, so word guessing games are a good way to develop linguistic skills, especially speaking skills. This research was conducted to determine the extent of the influence of word guessing games on students' daily speaking skills. The approach used in this research is a quantitative approach and the type of research used is experimental research, and the results of the research are : 1) There is an influence of word guessing games on students' daily speaking skills of class II at junior high school students Maarif Singosari Malang, Because students' abilities are better than before. Considering the post-test result of 1550 is greater than the pre-test result of 1140. This shows the difference between the two tests, By using the T test the results were 2.83<17.943>2.08. It was found that the T test was greater than the t table and the magnitude of the effect of the word guessing game was -5.78. This has a very big influence on the use of word guessing games on students' daily speaking skills of class II at junior high school students Maarif Singosari Malang. Abstract

This research aimed to reveal the efforts, promotion, and development of the teaching of the Arabic language in the intensive Arabic language teaching at Maulana Malik Ibrahim State Islamic University Malang to improve the linguistic intelligence of students through the student activities of the “Arabic Camp” (Mukhoyyam Arabi). The method used in this research is a case study to describe the various events that occurred in this field, which is the teaching of the Arabic language presented by lecturers of the intensive program for teaching the Arabic language to improve verbal linguistic intelligence. The research focused on the two advanced levels, which were FJ-3 and FJ-4. Among the results of this research were that the students’ activities towards the first-place competition, Arabic songs, and Arabic encouraging chants (yel-yel) programmed in the outdoor classroom in the natural environment improved verbal-linguistic intelligence toward using correct and effective words and forming sentences according to grammatical rules aimed at communication.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to understand the role of the Nurul Jannah Mosque in developing the value of tolerance in a pluralistic society, as well as analysing the methods and implementation applied by the mosque in creating inter-religious harmony. This research uses a qualitative approach with the type of field research, which focuses on direct observation in the field and interviews with mosque administrators, community leaders, and worshipers. This research seeks to explore in depth how the Nurul Jannah Mosque contributes to shaping tolerance awareness in a heterogeneous society in Gresik. The results show that the Nurul Jannah Mosque plays a very important role in the social life of the community, especially in developing the value of tolerance among people of different religions. This mosque not only functions as a place of worship, but also as a centre for social activities, education, da'wah, and economic empowerment. One concrete example of the role of tolerance shown by the mosque is the freedom for religious people to carry out worship according to their respective beliefs, without any discrimination. In addition, the Nurul Jannah Mosque actively holds studies by presenting speakers from different Islamic organisations, which help enrich insight and strengthen the bond of brotherhood between people. Overall, this research shows that the Nurul Jannah Mosque not only plays a role in the spiritual aspect, but also as a facilitator that fosters the value of tolerance and pluralism in the community. The activities carried out by this mosque are a clear example of how places of worship can function as inclusive spaces that encourage the creation of interfaith harmony in a plural society.

Abstract

This study aims (1) To find out how to internalize the values of religious moderation in learning Islamic Religious Education. (2) What are the supporting and inhibiting factors for the internalization of religious moderation values in Islamic Religious Education learning. (3) What are the implications of internalizing the values of religious moderation in learning Islamic Religious Education. The method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative research method with a type of field research located at Smk Semen Gresik. The subjects of this research include school principals, teachers and students. The data collection technique uses interview, observation and documentation methods. The results of this study show that (1) Internalization of religious moderation values in learning Islamic Religious Education at Smk Semen Gresik through the stages of planning, implementation, and evaluation. The internalization of the values of religious moderation can be done by methods: a) Teaching method, b) Exemplary method, c) Motivation method, d) Habituation method, e) Rule enforcement method. (2) Supporting factors: a) high commitment from the principal, teachers, staff, and other stakeholders. On the other hand, the availability of facilities and infrastructure to support the learning process. b) extracurricular activities. c) the competence of educators in campaigning for religious moderation. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors are that students are not wise in sorting and choosing information, hoax news, and content on radicalism issues, as well as the lack of a collection of literacy reading materials. (3) The implications of internalizing the values of religious moderation include obedience to rules such as obeying school rules that apply at school. And respect for others such as being friendly with anyone and not underestimating others, being reverent with teachers, and not preceding teachers when walking, as well as familiarity with friends and teachers. Social concern.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis model pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) berbasis Islam Wasathiyah dalam membentuk sikap toleransi antar umat beragama di SMP Pancasila Krian Sidoarjo. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Partisipan meliputi Wakil Kepala Sekolah Bidang Kurikulum, Guru PAI, dan siswa kelas VIII. Data dianalisis menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman dengan validasi triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa SMP Pancasila menerapkan model pembelajaran Cooperative Learning tipe Jigsaw yang berpusat pada siswa (student-centered), mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai Islam Wasathiyah seperti moderasi, kerja sama, dan penghargaan terhadap keragaman. Model ini diimplementasikan melalui tiga pendekatan: (1)intrakurikuler (diskusi kelompok dan proyek "Buku Saku Toleransi"), (2) kokurikuler(kunjungan ke rumah ibadah dan refleksi spiritual), dan (3) ekstrakurikuler (kegiatan Pramuka dan OSIS lintas agama). Dampak positif terlihat pada empat aspek: spiritual (peningkatan ketakwaan inklusif), intelektual(pola pikir kritis), moral (empati dan keadilan), serta sosial (lingkungan sekolah harmonis). Teori Vygotsky (sociocultural theory), Banks (pendidikan multikultural), dan Dewey (contextual learning) menjadi landasan teoretis yang memperkuat efektivitas model ini. Kesimpulan penelitian mengungkap bahwa model PAI berbasis Islam Wasathiyah efektif membentuk toleransi melalui pendekatan holistik. Rekomendasi untuk penelitian selanjutnya adalah mengeksplorasi dampak jangka panjang model ini di masyarakat serta integrasi teknologi digital. Temuan ini berkontribusi pada pengembangan pendidikan inklusif di Indonesia.

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the important role of teachers in popularizing moderate Islamic education through learning approaches in formal schools and religious values-based habits in Islamic boarding schools (pesantren). Teachers not only function as instructors, but also as spiritual guides who shape an inclusive and tolerant understanding of Islamic values. This study highlights the strategies and challenges faced by teachers in carrying out their roles, and emphasizes the urgency of their contribution in shaping a just and compassionate society through moderate Islamic education. This study uses a qualitative analytical approach with literature review and document analysis as the main data sources. Data were analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing techniques. The results of the study indicate that teachers play a strategic role in strengthening religious moderation through role models, inclusive learning designs, and strengthening a humanistic educational culture. Formal schools have opportunities in strengthening the curriculum and social interactions across diversity, while Islamic boarding schools contribute through the role models of kiai and the Aswaja tradition that has internalized the values ​​of tawassuth, tasamuh, and tawazun. Emerging challenges include the penetration of digital extremist narratives and the uneven distribution of teacher competencies related to religious moderation pedagogy. Government support for the Religious Moderation policy provides a significant opportunity to strengthen the role of teachers in developing a generation with moderate morals and maintaining national harmony and social cohesion.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of Islamic higher education institutions based on pesantren in responding to global challenges through a case study at Universitas KH. Abdul Chalim (UAC) Pacet Mojokerto. Using a qualitative field research approach, data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation involving university leaders, lecturers, and students. The results show that UAC has successfully integrated pesantren values into higher education through an academic curriculum based on Ahlussunnah wal Jama’ah principles combined with modern scientific disciplines. The integration is implemented through structured spiritual development, character building, and digital-based learning innovations. UAC also strengthens its global competitiveness through research collaborations, international conferences, and academic partnerships with institutions in Egypt and Morocco. This study concludes that the pesantren-based higher education model applied by UAC can be an effective prototype for developing modern Islamic education that balances faith (IMTAQ) and science (IPTEK) to face the demands of globalization.
