Abstract

ChatGPT applications are increasingly popular for answering questions and providing information to users on various topics and languages, including text translation. In several previous studies, the use of the ChatGPT was deemed coherent, relatively accurate, informative, and systematic. This research aims to open new avenues for analyzing the quality of ChatGPT translation in Indonesian texts into Arabic, not only to pinpoint translation errors, but also to explore the positive aspects and capabilities of ChatGPT in translation. This study attempts to assemble a layered cascading translation analysis, progressing from individual words to phrases, then to simple sentences, and finally to longer sentences covering popular themes, such as education, health, economics, and tourism. Consequently, this research can serve as a consideration for translators collaborating with AI, aligning with the focus of Industry 5.0 era. This study employs qualitative and quantitative descriptive research models. The qualitative descriptive research model is obtained through textual analysis techniques that focus on translating various models and types of texts, and the quantitative data are provided by the questionnaire results from general readers for the readability of the translation result. The researchers found that the use of ChatGPT in Indonesian Arabic text translation has both drawbacks and advantages. The shortcomings of ChatGPT include difficulties in translating complex words with specific themes, such as education, tourism, and literature. When translating long sentences, it tends to be less appropriate in composition, and in the semantic field or meaning within specific contexts, it may lack precision. The selection of pronouns may not be suitable for the subject, and the use of complex idioms and the arrangement of words in idhafah and wasfi forms may be inaccurate. Evidence shows that ChatGPT's translation has a 66% readability percentage, indicating a relatively good outcome. Nevertheless, human translators can still contribute to translations by collaborating with the advancements of ChatGPT and utilizing their sensitivity to the context and external elements of the text. Further research and analysis, such as the development of a translation framework applicable to learning and translation practice or an analysis of Indonesian-Arabic translation within translation classes, could be implemented.

Abstract

Abstract : This research aims to determine the effect of word guessing games on the daily speaking skills of class II at junior high school students Maarif Singosari Malang. because most of the students' problems are the lack of memorizing vocabulary, so word guessing games are a good way to develop linguistic skills, especially speaking skills. This research was conducted to determine the extent of the influence of word guessing games on students' daily speaking skills. The approach used in this research is a quantitative approach and the type of research used is experimental research, and the results of the research are : 1) There is an influence of word guessing games on students' daily speaking skills of class II at junior high school students Maarif Singosari Malang, Because students' abilities are better than before. Considering the post-test result of 1550 is greater than the pre-test result of 1140. This shows the difference between the two tests, By using the T test the results were 2.83<17.943>2.08. It was found that the T test was greater than the t table and the magnitude of the effect of the word guessing game was -5.78. This has a very big influence on the use of word guessing games on students' daily speaking skills of class II at junior high school students Maarif Singosari Malang. Abstract

BBerdasarkan hasil penelitian terkini, sebanyak 217 perempuan di desa Pandansari melakukan pernikahan di bawah usia 19 tahun yang berdampak pada putusnya jenjang pendidikan. Hal ini memicu permasalahan sosial seperti masalah kesehatan, penurunan tingkat pendidikan, dan dampak negatif terhadap sumber daya alam serta situs-situs kuno. Oleh karena itu, untuk mengatasi masalah sosial akibat pernikahan dini, perlu dilakukan upaya pengontrolan. Salah satu caranya adalah dengan menyelenggarakan kegiatan “sosialisasi pentingnya pendidikan dan dampak pernikahan dini”, yang dikhususkan pada siswa-siswi Madrasah Alyah Al-Hidayah sebagai kelas sosial yang berpotensi melakukan mobilitas sosial yang lebih tinggi melalui rekonstruksi pendidikan John Dewey. Yaitu memaparkan permasalahan sosial yang terjadi akibat pernikahan dini disekeliling peserta didik kemudian merangkai kembali atau membangun kembali berbagai pengalaman dan peristiwa yang dialami seseorang dalam kehidupan sosialnya sehingga setiap hal baru memiliki arah dan makna yang lebih jelas. Metode pelaksanaan dibagi menjadi tiga tahap yaitu tahap observasi, Penyampaian Materi dan Focus Group Discussion. Selanjutnya pengukuran perkembangan kognitif dan Sikap peserta didik melalui kuosioner. Hasilnya, ada peningkatan kognitif dan sikap peserta didik terhadap pentingnya pendidikan, dimana 100% peserta menolak pernikahan dini dan 88% berniat melanjutkan pendidikan hingga jenjang sarjana, serta 38% ingin bekerja sekaligus sarjana setelah mengikuti sosialisasi “Pentingnya pendidikan dan dampak pernikahan dini.
