Abstract

Community outreach on the use of Azolla microphylla as animal feed on limited land in Sei Mencirim village, Sunggal district. Deli Serdang Regency, Sumatra province in January 2023. The aim of carrying out community service is to introduce the technique of developing Azolla microphyla using the organic hormone 'bean sprouts' to provide chicken farming to the community which is cheap, makes coercive feed efficient and is environmentally friendly. The specific target of this community service is the development of the Azolla microphylla plant as animal feed which can be substituted with commercial feed which at a fairly high price, can save feed costs. It is hoped that the implementation of this community service will ensure that the public will gain knowledge about the development of the Azolla microphylla plant using organic hormone media with the basic ingredients of "Bean Sprouts". So far, animal feed has been in the form of 100% commercial feed purchased from poutry shops, so this has become a problem for breeders. high price... Even though this plant is easy to grow even on limited land. The method used is implementing community service in the form of lectures and discussions, direct practice in planting Azolla microphylla and later practicing how to feed chickens.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the income or level of profit and business feasibility in terms of the scale of free-range chicken rearing businesses in Binjai District, Langkat Regency. This research used a qualitative method with a descriptive analysis approach, which involved 3 breeders from 7 villages in Binjai District, Langkat Regency and were selected randomly. Research data was collected through in-depth interviews related to the research theme. The results of this research show that the analysis of the Jooper chicken farming business is very feasible to continue to be developed because it can increase income. From the R/C Ratio analysis, we get an average of 1.2. The analysis of the Elba chicken farming business is very feasible to continue with the R/C Ratio analysis getting 1.2. The analysis of the KUB chicken farming business is very feasible to continue with the R/C Ratio analysis of 1.4. Thus, the income of livestock businesses in Binjai District, Langkat Regency shows that there are business profits.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian feed aditif terhadap bobot potong, presentase karkas, dan presentase non karkas ayam broiler. Penelitian ini menggunakan Ral faktorian 5 perlakuan dengan 4 ulangan. Perlakuan yang digunakan terdiri dari; adalah: F0 = Kontrol, F1 = Neobro 10 ml/ liter air, F2 = feed aditif dari bonggol pisang 10 ml/ liter air, F3 = feed aditif dari tauge 10 ml/liter air, F4 = feed aditif dari pucuk ubi jalar 10 ml/liter air. Parameter yang diamati adalah Bobot potong, persentase bobot Karkas dan persentase non karkas. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pemberian feed aditif berpengaruh tidak nyata (0,>0,050 terhadap bobot potong, persentase bobot potong, persentase bobot karkas dan persentase non karkas ayam broiler.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kadar kolesterol, tingkat kesukaan, kemasiran dan rasa telur bebek rasa bawang pedas. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok (RAK) factorial 3 X 2 dengan 3 Ulangan. Faktor pertama konsentrasi Filtrat air abu sekam iFaktor ipertama iadalah iFaktor Pertama adalah Penambahan Cabai + Bawang Putih + Adonan Garam (I), terdiri atas: P1 = 5% cabai+bawang putih 5% + adonan garam (2 abu: 1 garam), P2= 10% cabai+bawang putih 10% + adonan garam (2 abu: 1 garam), P3= 15% cabai+bawang putih 15% + adonan garam (2 abu : 1 garam), Faktor Kedua adalah waktu proses pembuatan telur bebek asin sebagai faktor (II) terdiri atas : W1 = 7 hari, W2 = 14 hari. Variable pengamatan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari kadar kolesterol, tingkat kesukaan, Kemasiran, dan Rasa. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pelakuan memberikan pengaruh yang sangat nyata (P>0,01) terhadap kadar kolesterol, tingkat kesukaan, kemasiran dan rasa telur bebek asin rasa bawang pedas.

Abstract

Fungal growth is influenced by various additional nutrients given, including the addition of quicklime and palm sap water extract. The purpose of the study was to determine the physical quality of layer chicken meat boiled using young papaya. The study was conducted in June 2024 at the Laboratory of the Panca Budi Development University, Medan, Jl. Gatot Subroto Medan. The research method used a non-factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 4 treatments and 3 replications. The factors studied were: P0: 1000 grams of chicken meat + 0 grams of papaya, P1 = 1000 grams of chicken meat + 250 grams of papaya, P2 = 1000 grams of chicken meat + 500 grams of papaya and P3 = 1000 grams of chicken meat + 750 grams of papaya. The parameters observed were organoleptic tests (aroma, taste, color, texture, preference). The results of the study showed that boiling layer chicken meat using young papaya had no significant effect on the organoleptic test (aroma, taste, color, texture and preference).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Kecernaan protein puyuh petelur dengan pemanfaatan tepung tempe overripe. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) 4 perlakuan dengan 5 Ulangan. Perlakuan tepung overripe tempe terdiri dari: P0 = control, P1= 5 % tepung overripe tempe, P2 = 10% tepung overripe tempe, P3 = 15% tepung overripe tempe. Variable pengamatan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari Konsumsi Protein, kecernaanProtein dan Rasio Efisiensi Protein. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pemanfaatan tepung overripe tempe berpengaruh tidak nyata (P >0,05) terhadap konsumsi protein, kecernaan protein, dan rasio efisiensi protein puyuh petelur.

Abstract

Penggunaan Pupuk Organik Cair (POC) pada tubuhan rumput pakan ternak dapat meningkatkan produksi berat basah dan berat kering Rumput Odot (Pennesetum purpureum cv. mott) dan rumput Pakchong (Pennisetum purpureum Cv. Thailand). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana peningkatan produksi pada jenis rumput sekali gus dari penggunaan POC yang berbeda.. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Faktorial yang terdiri darim faktor pertama adalah jenis rumput (R) terdiri dari 2 taraf yaitu R1: degan Rumput Odot (Pennesetum purpureum cv) dan R2 : dngan rumput Pakchong (Pennisetum purpureum Cv. Thailand seangkan faktor ke dua adalah jenis POC dengan simbol (P), terdiri dari 3taraf masing masing dengan : Po (tanpa POC) P1 (POC Nature Gen), P2 (POC D’ Boostefer) dan P3 (POC Pamorganik MAS) sehingga diperoleh 8 perlakuan kombinasi dengan dengan 4 ulangan. Perlakuan yang diujikan adalah Pengaruh dengan persentase kenaikan jumlah anakan, tinggi tanaman dan produkasi segar pada kedua jenis rumput yang digunakan. Pengamatan dilakukan terhap persentase peningkatan pertumbuhan jumlah anakan, tinggi taanaman dan produksi t segar ng dilakukan pada saat panen. Data yang dihasilkan kemudian dianalisa dengan menggunakan DMRTDari hasil penelitian telah di analisa diperoleh bahwa penggunaan beberapa jenis POC dapat dan jenis rumput yang berbeda dapat meningkatkan persentase kenaikan produksi rumpt segar dan kering berbeda nyata (p<0,05)
