Abstract

Abstract

Abstract

Artificial Intelligence is the ability of computers to mimic human activities and execute tasks that normally require human intelligence. This service activity is a collaboration between young lecturers in providing understanding that is accommodated by the Strategic Studies Division of the Regional Leadership Council of the Indonesian Christian Youth Movement in South Sulawesi Province (DPD GAMKI SULSEL). The method is by way of Focus Group Discussion (FGD) with young lecturers from five universities in Indonesia. Based on the results of the FGD, the use of Artificial Intelligence for each field of science (Information Systems, Health, Education and Industry) has different roles and contributions. The use of Artificial Intelligence will benefit human resources if it is used according to the context of their knowledge. However, Artificial Intelligence can be dangerous if not used according to proper science. In using Artificial Intelligence, humans must understand their role as learners

Abstract

In the present and the future, the ability to solve Complex Problems has a role in a person's success in the work environment, community environment and family environment. Although this ability is important, classroom learning has not emphasized the development of complex problem-solving skills. Learning in the classroom still emphasizes the development of static problem-solving skills. This research aims to develop a textbook in the form of a PBL-based e-module combined with Flipped Classroom to be able to improve the ability to solve complex physics problems. In addition, this study also analyzes the validity and effectiveness of the textbook. This type of research is RnD research. The ADDIE RnD model is widely used for the development of teaching materials, the development of learning models and the development of learning media. The ADDIE model was chosen as the development model in this study because it is flexible. The stages of the ADDIE model are Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The results of this study show that the characteristics of Mechanics and Fluids textbooks that are suitable in the application of the PBL model combined with Flipped Classroom to improve Complex Problem Solving skills are a) Deepening the material that is done before the lecture equipped with practice questions; b) Problems presented in the Student Worksheet (LKM) in the textbook in the form of contextual problems; c) Student Worksheets (MFIs) in the textbook involve dynamic situations by utilizing the PhET Simulation application. The results of textbook validation by three validators were categorized as valid with an average score of 4.52 on a scale of 5. The results of the t and Ngain tests showed that the Mechanics and Fluids textbook based on the PBL model combined with the Flipped Classroom was effective in improving the ability to solve complex physics problems.

Abstract

The First National Congress (MUNAS) of the Indonesian Civil Servant Lecturers Alliance under the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (ADAKSI), held on May 2–4, 2025, in Jakarta, served as a pivotal moment for the consolidation and advocacy of civil servant lecturers at the national level. This event successfully formulated the organization’s strategic direction, ratified its Statutes and Bylaws (AD/ART), and developed a medium-term work plan for 2025–2028. The inaugural MUNAS of ADAKSI also produced twenty strategic policy recommendations to the government, particularly concerning the welfare and professionalism of civil servant lecturers. In addition to electing the national executive board, the congress affirmed ADAKSI’s role as both a strategic partner and a critical counterpart to the government in higher education reform. This article not only outlines the key outcomes of the congress but also examines the contributions and impact of strengthening the institutional position of ministerial civil servant lecturers within the national education ecosystem.
