Abstract

In this services trade cooperation, each country will commit to open cooperation in the twelve service sectors with different levels of openness in each country and stated in the Schedule of Specific Commitment. The level of openness is divided into three levels, namely: fully opened without any restrictions, none which means it is opened with restrictions, and unbound which means it has not been opened. This will have an impact on the choice of entry mode that business actors will make, but until now in Indonesia it has not been utilized, especially with the results of bilateral, regional and multilateral trade cooperation negotiations. For this reason, understanding the entry mode will determine the choice of type of entry mode that will be carried out by business actors, the support or facilities that will be provided by the Government, and what activities the Association can carry out so that the restaurant internationalization process can run well. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis by understanding how to read the ASEAN Framework Agreement on Services (AFAS) cooperation in the restaurant service industry sector. For this reason, the author explains how to understand the existing regulations AFAS countries in ASEAN, as well as investment options that comply with destination country regulations.

Abstract

The informal sector plays a strategic role in Indonesia’s economy; however, several business actors, such as street vendors, still face various challenges that affect their income levels. This study aims to analyze the effect of capital, packaging, and business duration on the income of street vendors in the urban informal sector. A quantitative approach was employed using a survey method involving 134 street vendor respondents in East Jakarta. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS. The results reveal that capital, packaging, and business duration have a positive and significant effect on income, although the Adjusted R Square value indicates that most of the variation in income is influenced by other factors outside the model. These findings highlight the importance of combining production factors to improve the financial performance of street vendors and reinforce the relevance of the Cobb–Douglas production theory in the context of the informal sector. The practical implications of this research can be utilized by local governments and MSME empowerment institutions in designing assistance programs and business training strategies aimed at enhancing productivity.and MSME development institutions in designing support and training programs aimed at improving productivity.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the Provincial Minimum Wage (UMP), Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP), and the Information and Communication Technology Development Index (ICT-Dev Index) on the Human Development Index (HDI) in Eastern Indonesia. This research employs a quantitative approach with panel data regression analysis. The study uses secondary panel data from 13 provinces in Eastern Indonesia for the period 2019–2023, obtained from Statistics Indonesia (BPS) and the Ministry of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia. The results show that the UMP has a positive and significant effect on HDI, GRDP has a negative and insignificant effect on HDI, while the ICT-Dev Index has a positive and significant impact on HDI. Simultaneously, UMP, GRDP, and the ICT-Dev Index have a positive and significant effect on HDI. The coefficient of determination indicates that 99.01% of the variation in HDI can be explained by UMP, GRDP, and the ICT-Dev Index, while the remaining 0.99% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study.

Abstract

Hospitals play a vital role in the healthcare system, with organizational support significantly influencing healthcare workers well-being and performance. This study explores the antecedents and consequences of Perceived Organizational Support (POS) in hospitals and highlights the role of technological advancements in enhancing POS. A Systematic Literature Review (SLR) was conducted to synthesize findings from recent studies on POS, focusing on key factors influencing its development and outcomes. The antecedents of POS include leadership, work conditions, and organizational policies prioritizing fairness and employee engagement. Leadership styles and supportive work environments foster trust and emotional security. The consequences of POS include improved performance, job satisfaction, and resilience, as well as reduced burnout, PTSD, and turnover intention. POS also promotes organizational citizenship behavior and work engagement. Technological advancements, such as AI and telemedicine, enhance POS by streamlining operations and improving communication. This study underscores POS critical role in achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDGs 3 (health and well-being) and SDGs 8 (decent work and economic growth). The findings provide valuable insights for healthcare leaders and policymakers to strengthen organizational support systems, ensuring workforce sustainability and improved healthcare outcomes.
