Abstract

Person-organization fit is developed by many strategic management practitioners to analyze the influence on various variables in improving the quality of service in an organization. This study aims to examine and identify the influence of the person-organization fit on organizational commitment and the performance of implementing nurses through the characteristics of individuals in Hospital X, so that it has implications for improving the quality of hospital services, especially the quality of nursing services. This study uses a parallel mixed method convergent research design. Simple random sampling was taken by 200 respondents and 17 implementing nurses at X Kupang Hospital. Analysis of the data using Structural Equation Model (SEM) obtained CR ≥ 1.967 and p ≤ 0.05 then the person-organization fit with significant and positive influence on individual characteristics, the person-organization fit has a significant and positive influence on organizational commitment, organization fit has a significant and positive influence on the performance of nurses, person-organization fit has a significant and positive effect on organizational commitment through individual characteristics and commitment of organization-organization has a significant and positive effect on nurse performance. C.R -0.166 ≤ 1.967 and p 0.868 ≥ 0.05, the hypothesis was rejected so that there was no influence between person organization fit and nurse performance through individual characteristics. The results of qualitative research through the opinion of informants stated that individual values are in accordance with the values of the organization but the organization has not been able to empower the characteristics of the implementing nurse so that it becomes an opportunity for the organization to increase the commitment and performance of nurses. This provides an illustration that the relationship between relational, leadership, and employee relations with the organization has not been optimal. The application of person-organization fit needs to be a concern to be implemented comprehensively in order to create conformity of personal values and organizational values in order to achieve organizational goals.

Abstract

This research aims to instill the influence of peer learning method training on increasing the knowledge of students in the STIKes Mayapada Nursing Diploma III Study Program. The research design used was a quasi-experimental design with an intervention group that took part in peer learning training and a control group that did not take part in similar training. The research population was all students in semesters 3, 5, and 6, with a sample of 40 students selected randomly. Data was collected through training evaluations and knowledge tests before and after training. The results of the data analysis showed that the intervention group experienced a significant increase in knowledge (p < 0.05), while the control group did not show a significant change. The implication is that peer learning training can increase students' knowledge of Nursing, support the concept of inclusive education, and prepare students to face the demands of the ever-growing homicidal profession. This research makes an important contribution to understanding the benefits of peer learning in the context of protection education.

Abstract

Peningkatan kebutuhan darah pada kasus kasus kegawatdaruratan di Indonesia teruatama di kota besar terus meningkat tidak disertai dengan peningkatan orang yang bersedia mendonorkan darahnya, sementara secara ilmiah tindakan donor darah tidak merugikan namun dapat turut meningkatkan kesehatan seseroang, namun sampai saat ini masih banyak orang yang belum mau melakukan donor darah. Metode penelitian adalah metode kuantitaf dengan desain cross-sectional menggunakan uji chi-squre. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua civitas akademika (mahasiswa dan dosen) STIKes Mayapada dan Karyawan Mayapada Hospital Jakarta Selatan yang mendaftar pada kegiatan donor darah STIKes Mayapada dalam rangka kegiatan perayaan 17 Agustus 2024 STIKes Mayapada yang dirangkaikan dengan kegiatan lomba dan pengabdian masyarakat berupa penyuluhan kesehatan dan donor darah. Sampel dari penelitian ini adalah semua yang mendaftar di undangan donor darah perayaan 17 Agustus 2024 STIKes Mayapada melalui link yang diedarkan dan datang ke lokasi donor darah di Kampus STIKes Mayapada (Total sampling=42 responden). Analisa data dilakukan secara univariat dan bivariat. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh karekateristik responden mayoritas perempuan (61,9%), mayoritas dengan tingkat pendidikan SMA/SMK (57,1%), mayoritas pada kelompok usia 16-23 (50%). Dari hasil uji statistik diketahui terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara pengetahuan dan motivasi responden dalam melakukan donor darah dengan nilai p 0,000. Semakin baik pengetahuan seseorang tentang donor darah dan semakin tinggi motivasi seseorang untuk melakukan donor darah maka semakin tinggi pula kemauan untuk melakukan donor darah.

Abstract

Chronic kidney disease is a progressive and irreversible condition that leads to a decline in kidney function, requiring renal replacement therapy. The intensive and prolonged treatment process often results in fatigue, which is one of the most common problems in CKD patients undergoing hemodialysis. Elevated urea levels affect erythropoietin production, resulting in decreased red blood cell count or anemia (low hemoglobin levels), leading to energy and protein loss, decreased appetite, nausea, vomiting, and reduced creatinine production—contributing to decreased skeletal energy production, fatigue, and weakness. Despite the frequent pharmacological interventions, fatigue management is often inadequate due to lack of energy, limiting patients' ability to perform therapeutic activities. One of the easiest and most efficient complementary therapies is lavender aromatherapy, which does not interfere with pharmacological treatments. However, it remains underutilized. In 2022, 143 CKD patients in one hospital presented with fatigue complaints, often leading to repeated care episodes. This case study aims to analyze the application of lavender aromatherapy in reducing fatigue levels in CKD patients undergoing hemodialysis.Methods: This study used a case study design with a pre-post test approach involving 3 patients selected through simple random sampling based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data were collected through direct observation using the FACIT-Fatigue Scale.Results: The results showed a reduction in fatigue levels in all three patients. Initially, they exhibited severe fatigue. After three days of lavender aromatherapy, fatigue levels decreased to mild. Conclusion: The application of lavender aromatherapy led to a decrease in fatigue levels, suggesting that it can be an effective supportive intervention.

Abstract

PIN Polio adalah langkah terdepan dalam memberikan imunisasi polio, tanpa mempertimbangkan status imunisasi sebelumnya, dengan tujuan menghentikan rantai penularan virus Polio dan mencegah kelumpuhan pada anak-anak. Kegiatan imunisasi PIN Polio yang diikuti oleh civitas akademika STIKes Mayapada di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Kecamatan Cilandak, Kota Jakarta Selatan dilaksanakan pada tanggal 23-26 Juli 2024, dengan sasaran usia 0-7 tahun (bayi, balita, dan anak sekolah dari tingkat PAUD sampai kelas 2 SD). Kegiatan PIN Polio di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Kecamatan Cilandak, Kota Jakarta Selatan, yang melibatkan partisipasi civitas akademika STIKes Mayapada berhasil diselenggarakan dengan baik. Dalam upaya mencegah penyakit polio, kegiatan ini memiliki efek positif terhadap peningkatan derajat kesehatan masyarakat. Kata Kunci: Imunisasi, Kesehatan, Polio, Virus
