Abstract

School principals are accountable for ensuring the success of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project, a program that strives to develop students’ comprehension, appreciation, and application of Pancasila ideals. This essay aims to provide elementary school administrators with a management plan that will enable them to successfully implement the project of raising the profile of Pancasila students. Research in libraries is the method employed. The research results show that the Project for Strengthening the Pancasila Student Profile is one part of the independent curriculum with noble goals that require management strategies from the school principal to implement it to succeed. Management strategies that a school principal can implement to make the project of strengthening the profile of Pancasila students a success: 1) Formation of a Work Team; 2) Training and Development; 3) Parental and Community Involvement; and 4) Continuous Monitoring and Evaluation.

Abstract

This study intends to describe the management of the worship program at MAN Bintan. This study used a purposive qualitative design at MAN Bintan which was held from January to April 2022. The Madrasah Head, Deputy Head of Student Affairs, Religious Teachers were sources of data acquisition. Overall data was collected through observation techniques at MAN Bintan, interviews with data sources, and documentation related to research activities. The validity of the data was tested through triangulation techniques. Data analysis was performed using the Miles and Huberman models. The results of the study show that the management of the congregational prayer and sunnah dhuha worship program at MAN Bintan has been well managed. This can be seen from its implementation which is mandatory for all students, teachers and staff. Although there are still students and teachers who do not participate in implementing it. In practice, students are given supervision by using attendance and worship control books. This attendance and worship control book will be checked every Friday morning and will eventually be included in the student report card grades of MAN Bintan

Abstract

This article aims to reveal the transformation of moderate Islam by Mohammad Natsir in the state. Where Natsir who lives not only as a statesman, but also in Islam is a Muslim thingker and scholar. Movements and upheavals of thought whose source is Islam, makin Natsir a militant fighter and statesmen in the fiht for Islam and the state. The primary sources in this study are: 1) M. Natsir, Fiqhud Da’wah, cet. Ke-10, (Jakarta: Capita Selecta,1996), 2). M. Natsir, Capita Selecta I-III (Bandung: Sumur Bandung, 1961), dan 3), M. Natsir, Islam dan akal merdeka, (Bandung: Sega Arsy, 2015), 4). M. Natsir, Islam sebagai Dasar Negara, (Bandung: Sega Arsy, 2014), dan 5) M. Natsir, Revolusi Indonesia, (Bandung: Sega Arsy, 2016). Next, the date were analyzed using the method content analysis and critical discourse analysis. The result showed that the transformation of moderate Islam by Mohammad Natisr was reflected in Natsir is political style, where Natsir combines the concept of state with religion, Islam as the core in politics. So it can concluded that Natsir’s transformation of moderate Islam in the state uses the concept of an Islamic democration state.

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan investasi jangka panjang yang akan selalu menarik untuk terus menerus diperbincangkan. Diperlukan kehati-hatian dalam menentukan kebijakan pendidikan karena pendidikan merupakan penentu dari kemajuan suatu masyarakat bahkan negara. Tulisan sederhana ini memaparkan tentang pengembangan kapasitas tenaga pendidik sebagai ujung tombak pendidikan, pemahaman terhadap peserta didik dan juga tentang lembaga pendidikan yang merupakan tempat potensial untuk mengembangkan dan meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia. Pembahasannya didasarkan atas kajian teoritik dari berbagai sumber dan kajian empiris dari para peneliti terdahulu.  Kata kunci: Pengembangan kapasitas, tenaga pendidik, peran lembaga pendidikan

Abstract

Lembaga pendidikan dan orang tua memiliki peran penting dalam meningkatkan kecerdasan anak-anak. Sekolah adalah tempat kedua bagi anak-anak untuk mendapatkan pengetahuan dan mengembangkan keterampilan. Sekolah yang bagus dan sesuai dengan karakter anak akan mampu membimbing anak-anak menuju masa depan yang lebih baik. Ada banyak faktor yang mempengaruhi persepsi orang tua memilih sekolah yang terdiri dari faktor internal orangtua, internal sekolah atau lingkungan. Penulis ingin melihat faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi orang tua dalam memilih sekolah berdasarkan indikator internal sekolah. Indikator internal sekolah yang dipertanyakan meliputi: ketepatan, kecermatan dan kecepatan pelayanan, kemampuan dalam menghadapi permasalahan yang timbul, kesediaan dan keterbukaan menerima setiap keluhan, bertanggung jawab atas kualitas produk dan kebijakan penetapan harga yang sesuai, bertangung jawab atas pendidikan agama dan keselamatan, kemudahan dalam memberikan dan menyajikan berbagai informasi, memberikan perhatian khusus kepada anak didik, dan fasilitas serta tata ruang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki bagaimana orang tua memilih sekolah untuk anak-anak mereka, terutama mereka yang tinggal di daerah perkotaan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan yang dilakukan di SDIT Baitul Jannah dengan deskriptif kualitatif menggunakan quisioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pandangan masyarakat terhadap lembaga pendidikan Islam secara umum telah mengalami dinamika. Sekolah-sekolah Islam sekarang diasumsikan menjadi tren bagi masyarakat perkotaan dan komunitas kelas menengah atas. Keberadaan sekolah-sekolah Islam dengan sistem sekolah siang penuh adalah untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pendidikan masyarakat perkotaan yang sibuk dan cemas dengan pendidikan agama anak-anak mereka.

Abstract

This study investigated how the caretaker of the Al-Mukhlisin mosque, Korpri Raya, Sukarame, Lampung Province, conducts da'wah activities to equip teenagers with good morality. The research method employed was a descriptive-qualitative method to describe the teenagers' perceptions of the da’wah activities. The data were obtained through two sources, namely primary data sources and secondary data sources. The primary data sources were the mosque management and the teenagers who participated in the AlMukhlisin mosque da’wah program. The samples were determined through purposive and snowball sampling techniques. The secondary data sources were obtained by collecting documents, records, regulations, supporting books, and literature. This study revealed that teenagers believed that da’wah activities are an obligation for every ummah and serve as places of education. There is a big contribution that the da’wah activities are the agent of change that is trying to change the atmosphere from bad conditions to better conditions. Islamic da’wah seeks to develop the teenagers' ability to live in plurality, to respect other religious communities, and to strengthen the silaturahmi (brotherly bonds).
