Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh pesatnya teknologi yang berkembang di era modern dewasa ini. Bagai pisau bermata dua, pesatnya teknologi ini pun menyajikan konten dan muatan dalam menunjang pembelajaran, keilmuan bahkan hal-hal yang tidak dapat dijumpai di dunia nyata, misalkan perang dalam simulasi game online. Umpatan dan makian dalam kemasyarakatan dunia maya merupakan hal lumrah yang kadang terbawa dalam kehidupan nyata. Hal ini berdampak pada penurunan besar bagi akhlaq di kalangan masyarakat khususnya siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran para pendekar Tapak Suci Putera Muhammadiyah dalam mendidik akhlaq siswa-siswanya ditengah gempuran teknologi yang semakin tidak berakhlaq. Penelitian ini merupakan model penelitian kuantitatif. Lokasi penelitian ini berada di PIMDA 101 TapaK Suci Putera Muhammadiya Lampung Selatan, Provinsi Lampung. Maksud dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hal-hal apasaja yang dilakukan para pendekar Tapak Suci Putera Muhammadiyah dalam mendidik akhlaq. Metode yang digunakan untuk mengkaji penelitian ini adalah (field research). Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara wawancara dan dokumenter dengan menemui langsung narasumber kemudian dikomparasikan dengan literatur-literatur yang berkaitan dengan judul.

Abstract

This journal discusses efforts to increase the understanding of the people of Usor Tolang Village regarding Islamic-based character education through the Community Service Program (KKN) of STAIN Madina students. This research uses the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method, which involves the active participation of the community in analyzing and improving ongoing practices. The programs implemented include evening study sessions for elementary school children, training on tajhizul mait (funeral management), seminars on preventing drug abuse, online gambling, and early marriage, as well as teaching activities in elementary schools and MDTA. The aim of this program is to enhance the community's understanding of the importance of character education based on Islamic teachings. Through the approaches of hiwar, qishah, amtsal, uswah, habituation, ibrah, maun'izhoh, targhib, and tarhib, the community is taught not only knowledge but also behavior changes to shape positive character. The results show a significant increase in the understanding and application of Islamic-based character education values among the people of Usor Tolang Village, making a tangible contribution to creating positive social change.

Abstract

The increasing use of social media, particularly Instagram, has encouraged new forms of religious expression, including interpretive memes that discuss various social issues. This article critically examines the discourse on career women as articulated in five meme-based posts on the @akhiukhtiantiselfie account. The five posts contain quotations from the Qur’an, hadith, references from several websites, and opinions from religious figures. This study uses a qualitative method with a Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) framework from Teun A. van Dijk. The results of the study show that, from a textual perspective, the discourse on career women in the interpretive memes of this account is shaped through a textualist approach of interpretation. From a social cognition perspective, the account owner views the phenomenon of career women on social media as a profession that is contrary to Islamic law. Meanwhile, from a social context perspective, the account owner's activities reflect an effort to raise public awareness about the dangers of the phenomenon of career women that is prevalent on various social media platforms. For the owner of the @akhiukhtiantiselfie account, the ideal role for women is in the domestic sphere; therefore, becoming a beauty vlogger or model promoting beauty products is considered unacceptable. However, they still allow women to work outside the home or engage in online commerce, provided certain strict conditions are met. Ultimately, this discourse construction aligns with Salafi’s interpretive patterns, as reflected in the authoritative references and theological arguments employed.
