Abstract

The study aims to investigate the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in overcoming moral decadence of students at SMK Ngesti Widhi Husada Kendal. Moral decadence is often a major concern in the context of education today, especially among vocational high school students. The study used a qualitative approach by conducting in-depth interviews and observations of several PAI teachers at the school. The results of the study show that PAI teachers play a significant role in guiding and directing students to face the moral challenges they face, such as unhealthy use of social media, conflicts between students, and other problems related to moral values. PAI teachers serve as good role models for students, provide moral guidance, and work together with school staff and parents to create a conducive learning environment in efforts to prevent moral decadence.This study also identifies inhibiting and supporting factors in the role of PAI teachers, including collaboration with colleagues, support for facilities and infrastructure, and challenges such as lack of student awareness and lack of family support. The implications of this study indicate the need for a holistic approach in strengthening the role of Islamic Religious Education teachers in supporting the formation of character and morality of students at SMK Ngesti Widhi Husada Kendal.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the strategy of memorizing the Qur'an through the Wahdah method in improving memorization of the Qur'an at the An-Nur Surodadi Gringsing Islamic Boarding School. The approach used is a qualitative field with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the application of the Wahdah method in improving memorization of the Qur'an at the An-Nur Islamic Boarding School is driven by internal factors such as the enthusiasm of the students to use their time as best as possible to memorize the Qur'an, tutors who always provide motivation and also the right memorization method, a conducive memorization place, and adequate facilities. However, challenges such as the ability of the students to memorize the Qur'an varies, students who are sick so they cannot increase their memorization, students who lack awareness of the importance of memorizing the Qur'an still need to be considered. Guidance and direction by the tutors have proven effective, so that the students are able to memorize the Qur'an well and fluently. This is supported by the use of the right memorization method

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran pembelajaran Kitab Fathul Qorib dalam meningkatkan pemahaman fiqih santri di Pondok Pesantren Ma’had Mamba’ul Qur’an Wonosobo. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian lapangan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan pembelajaran Kitab Fathul Qorib yang menerapkan metode bandongan, sorogan, dan diskusi mampu meningkatkan pemahaman fiqih santri. Peningkatan tersebut tampak pada aspek penguasaan konsep, kemampuan menerjemahkan, serta penerapan hukum Islam dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Faktor yang mendukung meliputi tingginya motivasi santri, peran aktif ustadz, serta lingkungan pesantren yang kondusif. Sementara itu, faktor penghambat yang ditemukan antara lain adanya perbedaan tingkat kemampuan santri dan keterbatasan dalam penguasaan bahasa Arab. Dengan demikian, pembelajaran Kitab Fathul Qorib terbukti memiliki kontribusi yang signifikan dalam meningkatkan pemahaman fiqih santri.
