<![CDATA[Semiotics has an important role in supporting the success of mathematics problems solving. In mathematics everything that related to the signs, symbols and relations between symbols is called semiotics. In this study, semiotics means the ability producing signs including the symbolization process, the coding process and the meaning process as a part of a code system for communicating the information. The purpose of this study is to find out the detailed description of students' semiotic ability in solving the linear program problems which is distinguished from the language skill. Researchers tested the credibility and validity of the data using the triangulation source. The results of the study shows that students who have high language skills are able to do these three processes. So that the information conveyed from the results of the problem solving becomes a meaningful information. Students who have medium language skills have difficulty in the process of symbolization and meaning. Consequentlly, the information conveyed is incomplete. Meanwhile students who have low language skills have difficulty in these three processes. So that students have not been able to convey information from the results of their work.]]>

<![CDATA[Semiotics is one of the communication science branches studying about the symbol processing into information. This information has important role in the communication course. In this case, mathematics is so closely related to the study of symbols, signs and the meaning of signs which are a series of information used for communication. These study of symbols, signs and the signs meaning are used in the communication activity especially in solving mathematical problems. In this research, researcher will investigate about communication which is obtained from the semiotic process in the signs processing into information that is useful in solving mathematical problems. Based on the results of the research done, it was found that the 4 subjects that were investigated showed the various results of the semiotic process formed in communication activity. There were subjects who could process all semiotic processes correctly so that the produced communication skills became correct information. However, there were several subjects of the research who failed in some semiotic processes, so it caused the occurred communication produced incorrect or inaccurate information.]]>

<![CDATA[Discovery learning is a learning model that has a lot of influence on students' learning abilities. Therefore, this research aims to improve the activities and learning outcomes of Kedungrejo Bojonegoro Kindergarten students in basic introduction to arithmetic material through the Discovery Learning learning model. This research was conducted at the Dharma Wanita Kindergarten in Kedungrejo village, Bojonegoro, East Java in the odd semester of the 2023/2024 academic year with 10 students as the subject. This type of research is classroom action research which consists of planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting using the Discovery Learning learning model. Student learning activity data was collected using the observation method. Student learning activity data obtained was analyzed using descriptive statistics. Individual student activity data is analyzed based on the percentage of occurrence of each learning activity item carried out by students during the learning process. Meanwhile, to measure student learning outcome data, the scoring method is used by giving tests in the form of questions according to the subject matter that has been given. Tests are given at the end of each lesson. From the test results given, the use of the discovery learning model can increase the learning activities of Dharma Wanita Kindergarten students in Kedungrejo. In this study, researchers divided learning into 2 periods. Period 1 learning was carried out without using the discovery learning learning model. The results showed that only 30% of students were declared complete, then 70% of students were declared incomplete. Meanwhile, in period 2, 60% of students were declared to have completed their studies and 40% were declared incomplete. From these results, it can be seen that the use of the discovery learning model is able to improve student learning outcomes.]]>

<![CDATA[Sunan Drajat Lamongan Traditional Market is a market with a relatively large number of traders. This market provides various kinds of needs, from household needs, typical Lamongan souvenirs, and etc. However, along with the rapid development of technology, some traders are experiencing difficulties due to the proliferation of online markets circulating in the trading world. Traders stated that now the profit they get is not what it used to be. This is because consumers prefer to shop through digital marking(online markets). Therefore, the team of lecturers at the Sunan Drajat Islamic Boarding School Institute held socialization and assistance in the digital marketing sector, especially the creation of online stalls for Sunan Drajat Lamongan market traders. This activity aims to help traders compete in this digital marketing era. Apart from that, this activity also helps traders to improve and expand the marketing reach of their products through creating online stalls. From this activity, 10 traders have received socialization and assistance regarding creating online shop and how to operate them. In the monitoring carried out, the activity of creating online shop was apparently able to increase the income of traders. Within 2 weeks after the operation of the online shop that had been created, majority traders stated that they received additional income from buyers' orders through the online shop. This is in line with the aim of holding this activity.]]>

<![CDATA[Cash payments using currency, especially banknote, are often used in buying and selling transactions. Sometimes paying for banknote makes the seller confused about finding change, if the nominal value of the banknote is too large compared to the price of the item. Business actors must also increase their vigilance against the rise of counterfeit banknote. With the QRIS (Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard) payment method, it is hoped that business actors will not have to be confused about looking for change or worry about counterfeit money being widely circulated. There are many benefits of QRIS, such as increasing sales, practical, efficient, safe in transactions, increasing business popularity. Therefore, the service team provides outreach to business actors. The counseling aims to introduce and explain the importance of having QRIS. The team used communicative and interview methods. Business people are very enthusiastic about having QRIS after the team gave a presentation about the QRIS payment method.]]>

<![CDATA[This research is to find out and examine "Analysis of the Implementation of the Independent Curriculum in Mathematics Learning for Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Bojonegoro Students. This type of research is qualitative research which looks and hears in closer and more detailed explanations and individual understanding of their experiences. The research was carried out at MI Mafatihul Huda Bojonegoro . The population used was grade 1 students at MI Mafatihul Huda Bojonegoro. The research instrument was a questionnaire regarding the application of the Independent Learning Curriculum to mathematics subjects The overall aspect of the independent learning curriculum applied to grade 1 students at MI Mafatihul Huda is said to be high with a percentage of knowledge aspects of counting, counting and the profile of strengthening Pancasila of 80%. Utilization and retrieval aspects of 75%. The counting and counting skills aspect is 78%.]]>

<![CDATA[This research aims to determine the problem-solving ability of students in managerial economics courses reviewed from mathematical abilities. Mathematical abilities are closely related to the managerial economics aspect. In the scope of managerial economics, it broadly covers economic problems that are closely related to the calculation process. This study was conducted at Sunan Drajat University, Lamongan. The population used in this study were 4th semester students of the Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business who took the managerial economics course. The research instrument was in the form of high school level mathematics questions used to determine the level of students' mathematical abilities. Another instrument used by researchers to determine the problem-solving ability of students in the Islamic Economics and Business study program at UNSUDA Lamongan was 2 questions related to optimization in managerial economics. This study is a descriptive study that provides an overview of the process of solving managerial economic problems that pay attention to aspects of mathematical abilities. The results of the study showed that students with high mathematical abilities had problem-solving abilities in the managerial economics course in the very good category. Students with moderate mathematical abilities had problem-solving abilities in the managerial economics course in the good category. Meanwhile, students with low mathematical abilities have problem-solving abilities in managerial economics courses in the less category. ]]>

<![CDATA[Communication skills and attractive appearance play an important role in shaping an individual's professional image in the world of work. These two things are related to a student's readiness to start a career through an internship or work program. A student faces several obstacles in entering the world of work. One of the obstacles experienced is a lack of awareness of the importance of appearance and attitude in a career. This training aims to explore and influence physical appearance and communication in building a professional image. The activity participants were Islamic boarding school students and students of the Sunan Drajat Lamongan Islamic Boarding School. The training method is in the form of direct action in a training class/workshop for two hours. This activity was attended by 80 students. The evaluation results showed that from the training and briefing activities, it was seen that 60% of the participants had improved their communication skills and had an attractive appearance. This can be seen from the results of the final evaluation in the form of practical tasks carried out by the participants. A total of 48 participants were fluent in communication practices and had an attractive appearance. Furthermore, 20 or 25% of people are less able to practice communication and look attractive, another 12 or 15% of people are unable to practice communication or look attractive.]]>

<![CDATA[Online buying and selling is a new phenomenon occurring in society. This buying and selling activity uses the Internet without having to meet the seller and buyer in person. With the existence of online buying and selling, it turns out that there are still some people, especially UMKM business actors, who do not know the laws of Islamic online buying and selling. Seeing this problem, the researcher provided socialization about online sales in terms of Islamic buying and selling law. Buying and selling online according to scholars and fatwa institutions justifies buying and selling online but must still pay attention to the legal principles of buying and selling in Islam. This service was carried out on October 28 2023 using the face-to-face method directly to UMKM actors. The results of this service received a good response from the community, especially UMKM business actors. Through this service, UMKM business actors become aware of Islamic laws regarding online buying and selling because this service provides additional insight into knowing the prohibitions and principles of online buying and selling.]]>
