Abstract

Pembelajaran biologi akan menjadi lebih bermakna jika menggunakan bahan ajar yang kontekstual yang tidak hanya menekankan pada penguasaan konsep saja, namun juga kepada melatih siswauntuk mengaplikasikan konsep yang diperolehnya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk pengembangan lembar kerja siswa (LKS) berbasis discovery untuk pembelajaran biologi SMA pada topik struktur dan fungsi jaringan tumbuhan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan mengadaptasi model 4D. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan lembar validasi oleh ahli materi, ahli media, dan guru mitra; lembar respon siswa oleh 12 orang siswa kelas XII; dan tes hasil belajar 25 siswa XI IPA 3. Hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa LKS yang dikembangkan tergolong sangat baik. Nilai kelayakan LKS oleh ahli materi (84%), media (98%), guru mitra (85,3%), dan respon siswa (85,8%). Simpulan penelitian ini bahwa LKS berbasis discovery pada topik struktur dan fungsi jaringan tumbuhan berhasil dikembangkan dan layak digunakan sebagai alternatif bahan ajar biologi. Learning biology would be more meaningful if teacher use a contextual teaching materials which not only emphasizes the mastery of concepts, but also train students to apply the concepts. The purpose of this study was to describe the development of student worksheet (LKS) based discovery activity on the structure and function of plant tissues topic. This type of research is the research and development by adapting the 4D model of Thiagarajan. Data was collected using sheets validation by subject matter experts, media specialists, and biology teachers; student response sheet by 12 students of class XII; and 25 student achievement test XI IPA 3. Based on the survey results revealed that the feasibility of LKS by subject matter experts (84%), media (98%), teacher partners (85.3%), and the response of the students (85.8%) already classified as very good. Thus, it can be concluded that the discovery-based worksheets on the topic of the structure and function of plant tissue is fit for use as a biological alternative teaching materials.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop an Android-Based BSD (Basic Solution Dilution) practicum media using AI (Artificial Intelligence) Technology in solution dilution material. The development in this study was carried out with a 4D (four-D) define, design, develop, and disseminate. At the definition stage, the formulation of the practicum objectives is carried out, the design stage is carried out by designing the practicum media, while at the development stage the practicum media content validation is carried out by media experts and material experts, the dissemination stage is carried out via youtube. The results showed that the BSD practicum media was feasible to use, this was based on the validation results from two validators, namely material experts and media experts. The practicum media validation score by material experts is at number 69 which is in the "Eligible" category, while the validation results by media experts get 53 which is in the "Eligible" category. The results of the feasibility assessment of practicum media by students also showed results that were in the "appropriate" category with a conversion value of 3.94. Student learning outcomes after using the BSD practicum media also increased when viewed based on the comparison between students' pretest and psotest scores. The average pretest score of students before using BSD media was 50.76 while the average post-test score of students after using BSD media was 80.96. The results of the student's pretest and posttest gain test have a score of 0.61 with the "Medium" category.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh etnosains pada pembuatan klepon dalam pembelajaran kalor dan perpindahannya terhadap hasil belajar siswa dan mengetahui berapa besar peningkatan hasil belajar siswa terhadap pembelajaran materi kalor dan perpindahannya dengan etnosains pada pembuatan klepon. Subjek dalam penelitian yatu kelas VII E di SMP Negeri 17 Kota Bengkulu. Penelitian yang dterapkan yaitu penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain one group pretest-postest. Pengumpulan data hasil belajar siswa dilakukan dengan memberikan lembar soal berupa pretest (tes awal) dan postest (tes akhir) di setiap pertemuan yang dianalisis melalui uji-t data tunggal dan N-Gain. Hasil belajar siswa dari analisis uji-t satu sampel menunjukkan thitung sebesar 29,450. Berdasarkan uji peningkatan hasil belajar siswa terdapat 18 orang siswa yang memperoleh skor N-gain yang bekisar antara 0,4 sampai 0,7 sehingga termasuk kategori sedang, sedangkan 11 orang siswa lainnya memperoleh skor N-gain kategori tinggi dengan skor 0,8 sampai dengan 1,0. Hasil keseluruhan analisis menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh etnosains pada pembuatan klepon dalam pembelajaran materi kalor dan perpindahannya terhadap hasil belajar siswa dan hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan dengan kategori sedang dan tinggi. Sebagai penelitian penerapan pembelajaran, artikel ini dapat menjadi acuan untuk penerapan etnosains dalam pembelajaran IPA oleh guru serta dapat digunakan sebagai kajian pustaka untuk penelitian selanjutnya di bidang pendidikan. Kata kunci : etnosains, klepon, hasil belajar ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the effect of ethnoscience on making klepon in the matter heat toward learning outcomes and to find out how much increase in student learning outcomes in learning heat material and its transfer with ethnoscience in making klepon. The subjects in the study were class VII E at SMP Negeri 17 Bengkulu City. The research applied is quantitative research with one group pretest-posttest design. Data collection on student learning outcomes was carried out by giving question sheets in the form of pretest (initial test) and post-test (final test) in each meeting which was analyzed through a single data t-test and N-Gain. Student learning outcomes from the one-sample t-test analysis showed a count of 29.450. Based on the test of improving student learning outcomes, 18 students obtained an N-gain score ranging from 0.4 to 0.7 so that which was included in the medium category, while 11 other students obtained an N-gain score in the high category with a score of 0.8 to 0.7. 1.0. The overall results of the analysis show that there is an influence of ethnoscience on the making of klepon in the learning of heat material and its transfer to student learning outcomes and student learning outcomes have increased in the medium and high categories. As a research application of learning, this article can be a reference for the application of ethnoscience in science learning by teachers and can be used as a literature review for further research in the field of education. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the diversity of gastropods on Cukuh Raya Beach, Kaur Regency and to produce a valid classification booklet of living things. Based on the results of sampling at Cukuh Raya Beach, 12 species of gastropods were obtained, namely: M. annulus, T. chrysostomus, T. canaliculatus, R. aspera, N. canrena, C. femorale, V. musica, N. undata, T. radiatus G., R. nilotica, O. sayana R., and O. polpasta D. The research and development design used, namely (R&D) is based on the 4-D model starting from defining (Define), designing (Design), developing (Develop), and disseminating (Disseminate), but only carried out up to the development stage. The booklet developed was made with an attractive cover and Open Sans font that is in accordance with EYD. The booklet contains a front cover, foreword, table of contents, learning objectives, indicators of learning objective achievement, summary of materials, gastropod diversity, evaluation questions, and bibliography. The average results by expert (lecturer) and practitioner (teacher) validation obtained a percentage of the booklet content aspect of 90%, language aspect of 93.8%, and graphic/design aspect of 88.6% with an average of 90.8% in the category of "very feasible". Thus, it can be concluded that the developed product is very feasible to be tested in the learning process.
