Abstract

Konsep relasi dan fungsi merupakan pelajaran yang dianggap sulit diingat oleh siswa. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan suatu pembelajaran yang dapat membuat siswa aktif dan kreatif dalam mengkonstruksi ide-idenya melalui pendekatan untuk membentuk suatu pemahaman matematika. Dengan pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) siswa diharapkan dapat dengan mudah memahami materi pelajaran yang dikaitkan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keberhasilan belajar siswa menggunakan pendekatan CTL pada materi relasi dan fungsi di kelas VIII SMPN 1 Darussalam Aceh Besar. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini bersifat eksperimen semu dengan model rancangan one-shot case study dan menggunakan uji statistik, yaitu uji-t. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII-1 SMPN 1 Darussalam sebanyak 22 siswa. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data statistik uji-t diperoleh bahwa hasil belajar siswa yang diajarkan melalui pendekatan CTL pada materi relasi dan fungsi mencapai taraf berhasil, kemampuan guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran sudah efektif dengan skor 4,22, aktivitas siswa untuk tiap-tiap kategori pengamatan aktif, serta respon siswa pada setiap komponen pembelajaran positif dengan skor rata-rata keseluruhan 3,25. Jadi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendekatan pembelajaran CTL berhasil diterapkan pada materi pembelajaran matematika khususnya pada materi relasi dan fungsi Kata kunci: Pendekatan CTL, Relasi dan Fungsi, Hasil Belajar  Relation and Fungsion are one of Mathematics concept that hardly retain in students? memory. Therefore, it is important to have a learning activity which can make students become active and creative in constructing their ideas by utilizing an approach that can builds up students? understanding of Mathematics. By using CTL, it is expected that the students can easily understand the learning subject. This is because CTL approach offers a way to relate the subject material to real life situation. The objective of this study is to know how successful students? learning concerning the subjects of Relation and Fungtion through the use of  CTL to the second grade students at SMPN 1 Darussalam Aceh Besar. The design of this study is quasi experimantal study in form of one-shot case study and is using statistical test, that is T-Test. The subjects of the study are students class VIII-1 SMPN 1 Darussalam Aceh Besar which consits of 22 students. Students? result on the subject Relation and Fungsion had achieved successful rate due to the use of CTL. Hence, it can be concluded that Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach is successfully implemented in the subject of Relation and Fungsion. Abstract

Mathematical problem-solving ability became one of the abilities that students must possess. However, based on the results of previous research, it was stated that there were differences between the abilities of male and female students in problem-solving abilities, so it required an in-depth understanding of mathematical problem-solving abilities based on gender. This study aims to determine the mathematical problem-solving abilities of junior high school students on pyramid material regarding gender differences. This research is qualitative research with a descriptive research type. The subjects in this study consisted of 6 students, consisting of 3 male and three female students, with high, medium and low students. Data were collected through written tests and interviews, then analyzed descriptively, including data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the study were (1) female and male subjects in the high category fulfilled all indicators of problem-solving ability, but male subjects were less thorough than female subjects (2) female and male subjects in the medium category fulfilled three indicators of problem-solving ability problems, and made mistakes in making mathematical calculations, but male subjects made more mistakes than female subjects (3) Male and female subjects in the low category only met one indicator of problem-solving ability.

Abstract

The objectives of this study to describe the level of procedural mathematical fluency of students in solving problems on number pattern material and to describe the level of students' mathematical productive disposition in class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Baitussalam. This study used descriptive qualitative research with three students as subjects grouped into three categories namely high, medium and low. The results showed that mathematical procedural fluency (1) students in the high level category fulfilled all indicators. (2) students in the moderate level category fulfill two of the three indicators. (3) students in the low level category only meet one indicator. And the results for mathematical productive dispositions: (1) students with a high level fulfill all indicators (2) students in the medium level category fulfill five of the seven indicators (3) students in the low level category only fulfill two of the seven indicators.

Abstract

Pelaksanaan pembelajaran remedial sering terkendala diakibatkan oleh terbatasnya waktu dalam proses pelaksanaanya dan memaksa untuk adanya antisipasi dengan memanfaatkan media yang ada. Hal ini dapat diminimalisir dengan menyediakan modul sebagai perantara penyampaian pembelajaran remedia. Sayangnya, ketersediaan modul pembelajaran yang menfokuskan pada pembelajaran remedial masih jarang ditemui dan dirasa perlu untuk dikembangkan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui proses pengembangan e-modul matematika untuk pembelajaran remedial. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk melihat tingkat kevalidan dan kepraktisan e-modul yang dikembangkan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian R&D dengan model pengembangan 4-D yaitu tahap define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Hasil penelitian diperoleh gambaran terhadap proses pengembangan e-modul melalui empat tahap tersebut. Selain itu, diperoleh tingkat kevalidan e-modul yang dikembangkan berkategori valid berdasarkan hasil penilaian validator yaitu aspek kelayakan isi dengan persentase 90%, aspek kebahasaan 94,4%, aspek penyajian 90,6%, dan aspek evaluasi 88,5%.

Abstract

His study aimed to determine students’ relational understanding of mathematics on solid geometry material in class VIII of MTsS Darul Ulum Banda Aceh. The study used a qualitative approach, with data collected through individual tests and interviews. The results showed that students had different levels of relational understanding based on their mathematical abilities. Students with high mathematical ability demonstrated high relational understanding by being able to connect concepts and solve problems correctly. Students with moderate mathematical ability showed moderate relational understanding with limited ability to relate concepts. Meanwhile, students with low mathematical ability demonstrated low relational understanding and experienced difficulties inunderstanding relationships between solid geometry concepts. These differences were identified through the indicators of relational understanding achieved by each student

Abstract

Mathematical representation ability is an important skill that students must have in learning mathematics. However, based on the results of observations that researchers have conducted, it can be seen that students' mathematical representation ability has not yet developed optimally. Therefore, it is very important to create active learning in order to improve students' mathematical representation ability. One learning model that is thought to be able to solve the problem of students' mathematical representation ability is the AIR learning model. This study aims to determine the mathematical representation ability of students taught with the AIR learning model. The research method used is a quasi-experimental design with a pre-test-post-test control group design. Sampling in this study was taken by cluster random sampling. The sample consisted of 22 students in the experimental class and 25 students in the control class. The results showed that the mathematical representation ability of students taught with the AIR model was better than the mathematical representation ability of students taught with the conventional learning model.

This study aims to determine the comparison of the mathematical communication skill of students of class VIII SMP who are taught through the Quantum Learning model. Mathematical communication skills are still low due to the inability of students to channel their ideas systematically. The research method used was experimental research with a pretest-posttest control group design. The population in this study were all students of class VIII SMP Negeri 4 Langsa. Sampling was carried out using the Simple Random Sampling technique and obtained two classes, namely class VIII-5 as the experimental class and VIII-6 as the control class. Data collection was used by using a mathematical communication ability test sheet. From the research results obtained  and , then   means it can be concluded that the average mathematical communication skill of students who learned with Quantum Learning Model is better than the average mathematical communication skill of students who are taught using conventional learning.model.
