Abstract

Numeracy literacy skills are crucial for students, yet data from PISA and TIMSS indicate that Indonesian students' proficiency in this area remains low. Numeracy literacy teaching materials are lacking, with most teachers still using conventional methods. Therefore, innovation is needed in developing teaching materials. This research aims to develop an electronic numeracy literacy module on linear function material for Grade VIII SMP that meets validity and practicality standards. The ADDIE method (Analysis, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate) is used for development, with Grade VIII students from SMPN 2 Banda Aceh as the research subjects. Data collection instruments include interviews, validation sheets, student response questionnaires, and teacher feedback. Data are then analyzed descriptively, in percentages, and qualitatively. The research results indicate that the developed product has passed the material validation stage with a result of 91.74%, indicating high material validity. Media validation also succeeded with a percentage of 90.48%, showing very high validity levels. The practicality test conducted with teachers yielded a result of 88.33%, indicating the practicality of the e-module in teaching. Abstract

So far, the teacher's thought process in solving a math problem has rarely been paid attention to by the teacher. The thinking process of students in solving math problems includes intuitive and analytical thinking processes. The aim of this research is to explore the intuitive and analytical thinking process of junior high school students in solving UN questions. The research method used is qualitative research that is exploratory in nature by selecting subjects who have high abilities in mathematics. Data collection in the form of descriptions of students' intuitive and analytical thinking processes was carried out through interviews. The results obtained in this study are a description of the process that students go through in mental when students solve math problems in the form of questions National Examination. The results of the study can be concluded that students in solving mathematics problems in the National Examination prioritize the process of intuitive thinking, where students can spontaneously and directly pour out ideas for solving the problems given. In addition, in the further process, students also use analytical methods. Analytical thinking processes are carried out by students by detailing the answers based on the information in the questions.

Abstract

This research aimed to formulate a model of mathematical learning difficulties for children with dyscalculia to help children with dyscalculia overcome mathematics problems at school. This research is important to carry out considering that dyscalculia is a serious problem experienced by many students throughout the world. The SDTA model was built by analogizing the STIR model to non-communicable diseases. In this study, of 1247 students who conducted a series of tests (screening tests), there were 121 students, or 9.7% were initially identified as having dyscalculia. Furthermore, observations were carried out and confirmation was carried out with parents and teachers so that 119 students tested positive for dyscalculia. The research results showed that after intervention through treatment by the teacher, dyscalculia students experienced a very drastic decrease, especially in the material on recognizing and ordering numbers. Likewise, the results of model simulations on multiplication operation material illustrated the decline in students with dyscalculia. Specifically for division operations, the treatment process took relatively longer. Therefore, the simulation results in the SDTA model reflected students who are identified as having dyscalculia, along with planned intervention/ treatment, students could pass through the mathematics learning phase successfully.
