Abstract

Background:Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a chronic disease in which the pancreas is unable to produce enough insulin or when the body cannot effectively use the insulin it produces, causing an increase in the concentration of glucose in the blood (hyperglycemia). Management of DM can be carried out in pharmacological and non-pharmacological ways for DM patients, one of the non-pharmacological measures for DM is yoga.Objective:In general, this study aims to determine the effect of yoga exercise on blood sugar levels in type II DM patients in Karangsem Village, Surakarta.Method:Types of research Quasi Experimentsby using a planpre and post test without control. The research sample was 23 respondents with techniques purposive sampling. The instruments in this study used yoga practice SOPs and GCU toolsEasy Touch to measure blood sugar levels before and after doing yoga exercises. Data analysis usingUji Paired t-test. Research result:The average blood sugar level before doing yoga is 148.609 and the average blood sugar level after doing yoga is 127.870. There is an effect of yoga exercise on blood sugar levels (p value = 0,001< 0,05). Conclusion:There is a significant effect on blood sugar levels in type II DM patients in Karangasem Village, Surakarta.

Abstract

Background: Stroke patients experience haemiparesis (muscle weakness on one side of the body). Stroke management is done by pharmacological and non-pharmacological means. Pharmacologically, stroke management can be given fibrinolytics, while non-pharmacologically, exercises such as mirror therapy can be done. Objective: to determine the effect of mirror therapy can increase muscle strength in patients with non-hemorrhagic stroke. Methods: The type of research used is pre-experiment design without control group. The intervention given is the provision of mirror therapy for a duration of 15 minutes 6 times a week. The research was conducted in all internal medicine inpatient rooms at Kustati Islamic General Hospital Surakarta. The population of this study were all non-hemorrhagic stroke patients. This study used purposive sampling technique obtained as many as 35 patients. The instruments used to measure muscle strength are MMT (Manual Muscle Testing) observation sheets and mirror therapy SOPs. The data analysis used was the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test analysis test. Results: there is an effect of mirror therapy on muscle strength in non haemorrhagic stroke patients at Kustati Islamic General Hospital Surakarta with p-value = 0.001. Conclusion: Mirror Therapy can be used as one of the interventions that can be used by nurses in carrying out nursing care actions for stroke patients in increasing muscle strength.

Abstract

Patients with osteoarthritis will experience pain and limitation of motion which has an impact on difficulty in performing activities of daily living (ADL). Patients with these conditions also require recovery after total knee replacement surgery to restore normal physical, psychological, social, habitual and daily life activities. This study aims to determine the description of pain levels and independence of activity daily living (ADL). This study uses a descriptive design. The population of this study were all total knee replacement patients, 37 samples were selected using purposive sampling. The results showed that a total of 49.7% experienced severe pain and 84.6% of respondents had activity daily living (ADL) activities that were not independent. Nurses are needed to help improve the health status of ostheoarthritis patients so that the patient's quality of life can be maintained optimally. Avoid diseases that can aggravate and can fulfill daily needs independently. Health agencies need to further improve health promotion regarding the maintenance of independence and efforts to overcome pain levels in ostheoarthritis patients

Abstract

This study aims to determine the viral marketing effects and customer trust on purchasing decisions through sosial media Instagram at PT Suryagita Nusaraya. The independent variables are viral marketing and customer trust affect the purchase decision as the dependent variable.This research used is a quantitative method. The populations in this study are PT Suryagita Nusaraya Jakarta employees. Sampling technique using non-probability sampling technique that is accidental sampling and sample number 89 respondents. This research is a description with survey method. All data are processed by multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS version 21.0 application.The results of this research indicate that viral marketing and customer trust have an influence on purchasing decisions. This can be seen from the results of the F test obtained that the calculated F count is greater than F table (35,430> 3,09), and the probability value Sig. is 0,000 <0,05, the conclution are Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. That means the viral marketing (X1) and customer trust (X2) together (simultaneous) have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions (Y).The determination coefficient result (R2) is viral marketing and customer trust affects purchasing decisions by 45.2%. The remaining 54.8% is influenced by other variables not examined in this model or equation.

Abstract

Konsep memaafkan seringkali dibenturkan dengan teori Karma dalam agama Buddha sehingga menimbulkan stigma di masyarakat bahwa maaf tidak perlu dilakukan karena ada hukum Karma yang pasti bekerja. Faktanya, ajaran Buddha memiliki konsep memaafkan yang tidak berseberangan dengan teori Karma. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kekuatan memaafkan dalam perspektif Buddhis berdasarkan khotbah-khotbah Buddha yang terdapat dalam lima Nikāya. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode kepustakaan dengan mengkaji sumber primer dan sekunder. Sumber primer yang dimaksud adalah khotbah-khotbah Buddha terpilih yang terdapat dalam kitab Dīgha Nikāya, Majjhima Nikāya, Saṃyutta Nikāya, Anguttara Nikāya, dan Khuddaka Nikāya. Sumber sekunder meliputi artikel dan karya ilmiah yang relevan dengan topik. Data yang terkumpul dikaji melalui beberapa tahapan, yakni: 1) Menghimpun literatur yang berhubungan dengan konsep memaafkan; 2) Mengklasifikasikan buku-buku berdasar dokumen primer dan sekunder; 3) Mengutip dari berbagai literatur; 4) Mengelompokkan data sesuai dengan bagiannya masing-masing; 5) Menganalisis data yang sudah dikelompokkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebuah konsep kekuatan memaafkan dalam pandangan Buddhis yang tersirat dalam lima Nikāya. Memaafkan dalam pandangan Buddhis dimengerti sebagai sikap sadar dan bijaksana untuk tidak terjerat dalam ikatan kebencian yang berkelanjutan. Sikap ini memberikan dampak positif bagi orang yang meminta maaf dan orang yang dimaafkan sehingga dapat hidup damai dan bahagia.
