Abstract

Popularity of scanlated manga urged me to do this research. There are three main problems in this study: (1) to find out how the accuracy of English-Indonesia manga scanlation, (2) to find out differences between online manga (scanlated manga), and printed manga (Indonesian officially published manga) and (3) to find out which more accurate between both compared to original Japanese manga. At the end, I found that that although the scanlation of detective Conan manga is accurate but the printed manga was more accurate. Still, further research needed to analyze scanlation more detail. As readers of manga, we should be smarter by reading printed manga rather than online manga. This way we will get the better translation and also we can give our appreciation toward the author.

The study's object was three Youtube videos from Nouman Ali Khan Indonesia Channel, which focused on making subbed videos from Nouman Ali Khan Official Youtube Channel. The study discovers that the fan translators utilized varied techniques of translation. Every video at least had more than ten types of techniques, with the literal translation technique becoming the most used among all. The fansubbers also utilized other techniques to tackle the translation of Arabic data, such as omission, transliteration, and transcription. This study affirms that literal translation is a dominant technique applied for English-Indonesian translation. The Arabic data, however, comprise a small part of the finding, showing an interesting discovery as some techniques are unavailable in Molina and Albir categories. This study affirms the position of fansubber can apply different techniques of translation, although the literal translation is the most dominant one.

The main challenges that the task force often faces when serving elderly pilgrims include effective communication, physical handling of the elderly which requires extra energy, and building the trust of elderly pilgrims who are often hesitant to accept help. Another difficulty is guiding elderly people who are senile to follow procedures. The research method uses qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques used in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. The informants in this study were selected using the Snowball Sampling technique, in this technique the researcher starts with one or two individuals, then they recommend other individuals to be sampled. The results show that although the facilities at Donohudan Embarkation are adequate, some shortcomings still exist, especially in terms of facilities for the disabled and elderly. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the views of Grobogan Regency scholars in addressing the murur and tanazul schemes in the 2024 Hajj season. The addition of a quota of 20,000 is an exciting space for Muslims in Indonesia. Complex problems that often occurred in the previous Hajj season related to the accumulation of pilgrims in certain areas such as Muzdalifah and Mina, the increase in the quota given but the lack of space provided made its own concerns for the Indonesian government, especially on the health of the congregation. The research method uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The data collection technique uses interviews that have primary sources from the clerics of MUI, NU, and PDM Grobogan Regency. The informants in this study were selected using purposive sampling technique, namely selecting informants who have knowledge and experience related to the murur and tanazul schemes in the 2024 Hajj season. The results showed that the scholars of Grobogan Regency agreed with the existence of the murur and tanazul schemes in the 2024 Hajj season, with the criteria for the murur scheme being elderly, high-risk, and companion pilgrims, while the tanazul scheme is intended for pilgrims who have strong physical health, because it requires extra energy to walk back to the lodgings because there is no transportation intended for pilgrims who want to do tanazul, only Raudhah and Syiyah lodgings kare.

Abstract

This research discusses the discourse on shifting madhhabs (intiqalul madhhab) in the context of wukuf based on two seminal works in Islamic jurisprudence: al-Fiqh ‘ala al-Madhāhib al-Arba‘ah by Abdulrahman al-Juzairi and al-Fiqh al-Islāmī wa Adillatuhu by Wahbah az-Zuhaili. The diversity of legal interpretations among the four major Sunni madhhabs (Hanafi, Maliki, Shafi‘i, and Hanbali) has made the issue of switching madhhabs a relevant topic, particularly in pilgrimage rituals like wukuf, where the validity of worship can depend on specific legal requirements. This research aims to analyze how both scholars frame the concept of intiqāl al-madhhab, and to evaluate its relevance to contemporary hajj practices. The study employs a qualitative method with a library research approach, using descriptive-comparative analysis of both texts to explore methodological similarities and differences. The findings reveal that both works support the legitimacy of madhhab transition under certain shar‘i conditions. Al-Juzairi emphasizes the comparative diversity of fiqh rulings and presents detailed mazhab-based legal options for wukuf. Az-Zuhaili, on the other hand, strengthens this flexibility through in-depth textual analysis and the application of maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah. The study concludes that shifting madhhabs can serve as a practical and theologically grounded solution for pilgrims facing complex or difficult situations. This aligns with the Islamic legal maxims promoting ease and removing hardship, making intiqāl al-madhhab a valid contemporary approach in ritual practice.
