Abstract

Standar kompetensi guru ini dikembangkan secara utuh dari empat kompetensi utama (pedagogik, kepribadian, sosial, dan profesional) dan keempat kompetensi tersebut terintegrasi dalam kinerja guru. Sedangkan kepala sekolah sebagai pelaksana kepemimpinan pendidikan di sekolah harus memiliki kemampuan dan ketrampilan yang menggambarkan tugas dan peranan kepala sekolah dalam  penerapannya dituangkan dalam kompetensi kepala sekolah (kepribadian, manajerial, kewirausahaan, supervisi dan sosial). Sementara itu standar nasional pendidikan yang meliputi delapan standar (isi, proses, kelulusan, pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan, sarana dan prasarana, pengelolaan, pembeayaan dan penilaian) adalah kriteria minimal tentang sistem pendidikan di  Indonesia yang harus dicapai. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis pengaruh kompetensi guru dan kompetensi kepala sekolah terhadap capaian standar nasional pendidikan serta mengetahui indikator-indikator yang paling dominan dalam mengukur peubah laten antara kompetensi kepala sekolah, kompetensi guru terhadap  pencapaian standar nasional pendidikan tingkat sekolah menegah di Kabupaten Banyuwangi. Data yang digunakan adalah data nilai kinerja guru, nilai kinerja kepala sekolah dan nilai pencapaian standar nasional pendidikan (akreditasi sekolah), pada sekolah menengah di Kabupaten Banyuwangi. Metode analisis yang dipakai adalah covarian based SEM dengan estimasi maximum likelihood. Hasil yang diperolah adalah pengaruh kompetensi kepala sekolah berpengaruh kuat terhadap kompetensi guru, dan kompetensi guru juga berpengaruh kuat terhadap standar nasional pendidikan. Sedangkan  indikator yang paling dominan dari varibel laten kompetensi kepala sekolah adalah kompetensi kewirausahaan, untuk variabel laten kompetensi guru adalah kompetensi kepribadian, sedangkan untuk variabel laten standar nasional pendidikan adalah standar sarana dan prasarana.

Abstract

Indonesia's development must be connected to the important role of village empowerment and disaster resilience. Efforts to increase village empowerment and resilience to disasters have been carried out previously, especially in villages in East Rembang. Even so, there has yet to be an evaluation to measure its success. This research aims to evaluate and map village empowerment and resilience using research instruments consisting of aspects, indicators, sub-indicators, and questions regarding disasters in East Rembang. The four main stages of research include instrument development, measurements of empowered and disaster-resilient villages that have been carried out, mapping of measurement results, and based on recommendations. The data collection technique used is a document study with the data collection instrument, namely a document study sheet containing a scale for measuring village empowerment and disaster resilience. The village empowerment scale was developed based on geographic, government, population, social, agricultural, economic, and housing aspects. In contrast, the disaster-resilient village scale consists of six aspects that reflect the value of security from disasters, facilities, and mitigation efforts. This research shows seven categories of villages that are empowered and resilient to disasters. The three villages with the highest level of empowerment are Sluke, Sendangmulyo, and Kragan Villages in Sluke, Sarang, and Kragan Districts, respectively. Meanwhile, the three villages with the highest disaster resilience are Sanetan, Bendo and Langgar Villages, Sluke District.

Abstract

Abstract: Tambak Lorok is a “kampung nelayan” that still seems slum in some places. Then, the government embraced the community to participate in preserving their environment by changing it to Kampung Bahari in 2014. This research aims to determine the forms of participation and sustainability of holding Kampung Bahari in Tambak Lorok, Semarang City. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data collection was carried out through interviews and direct field observations. The research results show that the Tambak Lorok Community has realized forms of participation, which include energy participation, thought participation, property participation, skills and skills participation, and social participation. The sustainability of Kampung Bahari and several programs related to environmental preservation are still going well. The Tambak Lorok community continues to improve the quality of their area by carrying out many ongoing programs.Keywords: Society Participation; Environmental Consvertation; Tambak Lorok.Abstrak: Tambak Lorok merupakan “kampung nelayan” yang hingga saat ini masih terkesan kumuh di beberapa titik tempatnya. Kemudian pemerintah merangkul masyarakat untuk berpartisipasi dalam melestarikan lingkungannya sendiri, dengan merubahnya menjadi Kampung Bahari pada tahun 2014. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bentuk-bentuk partisipasi serta keberlanjutan pelestarian kampung Bahari di Tambak Lorok Kota Semarang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif, dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Pengambilan data dilakukan melalui wawancara dan observasi ke lapangan secara langsung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat Tambak Lorok telah merealisasikan bentuk-bentuk partisipasi yang meliputi partisipasi tenaga, partisipasi buah pikiran, partisipasi harta benda, partisipasi kemahiran dan keterampilan, serta partisipasi sosial. Keberlanjutan Kampung Bahari serta beberapa program terkait pelestarian lingkungan juga hingga saat ini masih berlangsung dengan baik. Masyarakat Tambak Lorok terus meningkatkan kualitas wilayah mereka dengan menjalankan banyaknya program yang terus berlanjut.Kata Kunci: Partisipasi Masyarakat; Pelestarian Lingkungan; Tambak Lorok.

Abstract

The emergence of popular preachers in Indonesia today has colored the public sphere. This article aims to discover Ustaz Abdul Somad's audience's response to the da'wah (Islamic peaching) he delivered. This article uses a qualitative method by interviewing ten selected informants using a purposive sampling technique. This study finds that some of Ustaz Abdul Somad's audiences are active. They not only listen to Ustaz Abdul Somad's lectures but also produce video lectures that are distributed through social media. The popularity of preachers such as Ustaz Abdul Somad is supported by the activeness of his audiences and advances in communication technology. The popularity of Ustaz Abdul Somad indicates that widespread Islamization in Muslim societies continues to be carried out amid the onslaught of modernization and globalization. This article recommends that the role of audiences is crucial in spreading a preacher's popularity in Indonesia. This article also helps explain that today's da'wah audiences are very different from those in the past in term of active involvement in spreading the da’wah message.

Abstract

This research aims, firstly, to provide knowledge and understanding to ustaz and ustazah about the importance of communication while at the same time providing reinforcement on how to apply communication skills in the learning process to santri or students and secondly to find out the results of implementing the communication skills that teachers have in the learning process. The method used in this research is descriptive-analytical using a participatory approach. The research instrument used interviews. The subject of the activity is the teachers and the field of education. Activities to improve the communication skills of ustaz and ustazah for students of TPQ Rojaul Khoir, Mijen Semarang were carried out for four days and were attended by 40 participants consisting of teachers, prayer teachers in the field of education, and other managers. After carrying out a workshop to improve communication skills for ustaz and ustazah, the activity continued with evaluating and preparing a follow-up program using brainstorming. The importance of communication strategies taught by students at TPQ Rojaul Khoir to improve learning quality is a common concern, so communication skills should be part of implementing activity programs at TPQ Rojaul Khoir. After communication skills were implemented in learning activities, there was a change for the better; namely, the class was more controlled, and the learning process was more meaningful.

Abstract

Indonesian society has long been known to have an open and moderate religious character as the process of Islamization taking place in peaceful Indonesia. However, recently there has been a trend towards a "conservative turn", a hard, rigid and conservative religious attitude. This phenomenon has then targeted Islamic teachers. PAI teachers, as the "front guard" in the process of instilling Islamic knowledge and values, are very important figures in disseminating friendly, tolerant and open religious attitudes towards students. Through the Living Values Education (LVE) approach, teachers are given training on the values of religious moderation for PAI teachers at Pekanbaru City Public High Schools. This research uses a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach. 20 PAI teachers were selected randomly, then they were given understanding through a living values education (LVE) approach. The results of this research show that there has been an increase in PAI teachers' understanding of moderate religion after being given living values education. These findings are useful for policy makers to apply this study model to spread religious moderation among Muslim communities.

Abstract

Background: Tanah pekarangan yang selama ini belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal memiliki potensi besar untuk dikembangkan menjadi sumber penghasilan dan ketahanan pangan bagi keluarga. Metode: Metode yang dilakukkan dalam kegiatan melalui beberapa tahapan strategis, meliputi: (1) Pelatihan Manajemen Kelompok, yang mencakup pembangunan suasana (atmosphere building) dan dinamika kelompok untuk memperkuat sinergi dan solidaritas antarwarga; (2) Program Pengembangan Keterampilan Hidup dan Bimbingan Teknis, yang berfokus pada pengelolaan pekarangan dengan metode budidaya tanaman hortikultura, pemanfaatan limbah organik sebagai pupuk, dan pengelolaan hasil panen; serta (3) Praktik Pengalaman Lapangan (PPL), di mana masyarakat secara langsung menerapkan keterampilan yang telah diperoleh. Hasil: Kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan motivasi masyarakat dalam memanfaatkan tanah pekarangan secara produktif. Selain itu, terjadi penguatan kapasitas kelompok warga dalam mengelola program secara berkelanjutan, yang mendukung tercapainya ketahanan pangan di tingkat rumah tangga dan komunitas. Program ini juga membuka peluang untuk mendukung ekonomi lokal melalui pemasaran hasil pekarangan. Kesimpulan: Pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui pemanfaatan tanah pekarangan untuk mendukung ketahanan pangan dapat menjadi model pemberdayaan masyarakat yang efektif dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This article presents research on the marriage customs of the Batak Toba and Mandailing ethnic groups in Padang Bolak District, North Padang Lawas Regency. The Batak culture places a high value on the customs and traditions practiced in their daily lives. The purpose of this study is to understand the implementation of marriage customs for Batak Toba and Mandailing, two local cultural traditions of the region, and to identify the differences and similarities in marriage ceremonies between the two ethnic groups in Padang Bolak District. Additionally, the study aims to elucidate the values underlying these marriage customs. This research employs a qualitative approach with observation and in-depth interviews with purposively selected informants. The findings reveal that, despite differences in the procedures and rituals of marriage between the two groups, both remain deeply rooted in local cultural values and traditions. The implications of this research highlight the importance of recognizing and respecting cultural and religious diversity within society, as well as the need for a deeper understanding of local customs to strengthen inter-ethnic relations and promote inter-religious tolerance. A thorough understanding of marriage customs also contributes to the preservation and development of the rich cultural heritage in Padang Bolak District.

Abstract

Mendolo Village is an area of high biodiversity, including five species of Javanese primates and a variety of unique flora and fauna. Biodiversity conservation in high biodiversity areas often faces complex challenges, especially in accommodating the ecological and economic interests of local communities. This research aims to find out the process, program implementation, and impact of synergy of biodiversity conservation and local community empowerment. This research used a qualitative method with a case study approach involving informants through in-depth interviews and participant observation. Data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model with triangulation of sources, methods, and time. The results showed that the synergy process starts from (1) identification of village potential, (2) application of participatory approaches, and (3) revitalization of local wisdom. Implementation includes four main programs with significant impacts: economic improvement, social transformation, and ecological restoration.
