Abstract

This study was aimed to explore the logistics service business strategy of J&T Express using the Business Model Canvas (BMC). The research locus was chosen at J&T Express as an innovative logistics service company. This research was compiled based on a qualitative descriptive method. The time of the study was conducted in April 2022, located in Bogor City and the analytical technique used was Miles and Huberman's qualitative interactive. Based on the use of nine dimensions of BMC, with the possibility of making managerial contributions that are included in tactical and strategic approaches, the J&T Express business model approach is in accordance with BMC. The contribution of this research emphasizes that the canvas business model (BMC) can be used as a role model in a comprehensive logistics service business development strategy.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan pada Dinas Tenaga Kerja Kabupaten Indragiri Hulu Provinsi Riau yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh budaya organisasi, motivasi kerja, dan disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai di Lingkungan Dinas Tenaga Kerja Kabupaten Indragiri Hulu Provinsi Riau. Data penelitian ini diperoleh melalui kuisioner terhadap sampel penelitian. Adapun sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 51 orang dengan menggunakan Teknik Sensus. Analisis data kuantitatif menggunakan Regresi Linier Berganda dengan bantuan program SPSS 24. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa budaya organisasi, motivasi dan disiplin berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Dinas Tenaga Kerja Kabupaten Indragiri Hulu. Artinya semakin baik dan tinggi tingkat budaya organisasi, motivasi dan disiplin maka akan semakin tinggi tingkat kinerja pegawai. Sebaliknya jika semakin rendah tingkat budaya organisasi, motivasi dan disiplin maka akan berimbas semakin rendahnya tingkat kinerja pegawai.

Abstract

This study analyzes the employee performance model at the Population and Civil Registration Office of Sarmi Regency, Papua Province. Unlike many previous studies that mainly emphasized leadership, discipline, and promotion as direct determinants of performance, this research highlights the psychological and engagement dimensions within a public sector context. Using a quantitative-verificative approach with structural equation modeling, the findings reveal that self-esteem and employee engagement positively influence performance, while job promotion and transformational leadership show no significant effect. These results underscore the importance of strengthening employees’ psychological capital and engagement rather than relying solely on structural or leadership factors. The study contributes to the literature by offering insights into employee performance in a remote bureaucratic setting, while also providing practical implications for human resource management in public institutions.
