Abstract

This article was purposed to reveal the urgency of dance festival and exhibition socialization toward the continuity of Tari Galombang Duo Baleh in community of Nagari Sintuak [village]. Tari Galombang Duo Baleh was a tradition that borne and grew in Nagari Sintuak Padang Pariaman. Tari Galombang Duo Baleh was one of cultural heritage in community of Nagari Sintuak. Lately, Tari Galombang Duo Baleh was coped an existence problem, one of degradation factors was lack of publication or lack of appreciation from community toward Tari Galombang Duo Baleh. In this article, writer offered one of the ways to promote the existence of Tari Galombang Duo Baleh to community of Nagari Sintuak. In turn, dance festival and socialization had an effect to the continuity of Tari Galombang Duo Baleh existence in community of Nagari Sintuak Padang Pariaman. Keywords: ata kunci: Galombang Duo Baleh Dance; Existence; Festival;  Socialization AbstrakArtikel ini bertujuan menjelaskan tentang pentingnya festival tari dan sosialisasi pertunjukan untuk mempertahankan keberlanjutan keberadaan tari Galombang Duo Baleh dalam masyarakat Nagari Sintuak. Tari Galombang Duo Baleh adalah tari tradisi yang lahir, hidup dan berkembang di Nagari Sintuak Padang Pariaman. Tari Galombang Duo Baleh merupakan salah satu warisan budaya masyarakat Nagari Sintuak. Dewasa ini, keberadaan tari Galombang Duo Baleh mengalami problematika eksistensi, salah satu faktor degradasi eksistensi diduga adalah kurangnya publikasi, atau kurangnya apresiasi masyarakat terhadap tari Galombang Duo Baleh  tersebut. Dalam artikel ini penulis menawar kan salah satu jalan untuk Re-eksistensi adalah melalui festival atau parade tari dan sosialisasi pertunjukan tari Galombang Duo Baleh kepada masyarakat Nagari sintuak. Abstract

Rumah Gadang as a characteristic of the Minangkabau ethnic group within the government of Povinsi Riau. Nowadays Rumah Gadang in Kuok regency of Kampar regency is abandoned by its owner and neglected to make its condition worrisome. Cultural place of residence, RumahGadang is a place of cultural social activities of Ethnic Minang in Kanagarian Kuok Kampar regency. In fact, Rumah Gadang is no longer functioned by the Kuok community in its role in Minangkabau adat. This paper highlights the existence of the current Gadang House in the socio-cultural life of the Kuok people. This research was conducted with qualitative research approach, with descriptive method. The data were collected by observation, interview, documentation and through bibliography. The research instrument is the researcher himself as a key instrument. From the results of research and data analysis that the existence of the Rumah Gadang (Lontiok House) is not fully intact, even some of it has been damaged and lost because in addition to changing times that are constantly changing, the condition of the area that is not supportive, and also because of the mobile community. Thus the status of Riau Province, especially Kampar Regency which was formerly a part of Minangkabau (West Sumatera) is not the influence of cultural objects (Rumah Lontiok) abandoned, changed, but because of socio-cultural change factors consisting of internal factors including factors family, economy, condition of building materials, new innovations, especially in the building system of the house

Abstract

Traditional music as an integral part of a society's cultural wealth has aesthetic value and plays a role in deepening cultural identity. However, in the era of globalization and modernization, traditional music is often threatened by changes in values and lifestyles that dominate from outside the culture. This article explores the influence of local cultural values on the traditional music education process in the Sendratasik Department. The main challenge is maintaining the existence of traditional music amidst the ever-changing interests of the younger generation. The research is a type of qualitative research with a case study approach. Through in-depth interviews, document analysis, and direct observation, this research aims to understand the extent to which local cultural values influence students' attitudes, interests, and participation in learning traditional music. The research results show that curriculum implementation through face-to-face lectures, online learning, lecturer collaboration, and integration of educational technology are effective strategies for maintaining the existence of traditional music. Analysis of the impact of globalization shows that traditional music needs to adapt to contemporary trends to remain relevant. Traditional music education also plays a role in developing student character, such as creativity, communication skills, empathy, pedagogical skills, discipline, collaboration, understanding of cultural diversity, understanding of technology, self-development, spirit of inclusivity, as well as creation and performance. This research is expected to contribute to the development of learning strategies and curricula that focus on maintaining and developing traditional music as an inseparable part of cultural heritage that is alive and relevant in today's society.

Abstract

Zaman sekarang anak belum memahami nilai karakter dalam menumbuhkan kesadaran terhadap pelestarian kesenian daerah, seperti tari piring. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter dan mengungkapnya makna nilai karakter yang terkandung dalam tari piring di Sanggar Tuah Saiyo Padang. Manfaat yang dapat diperoleh dari pemahaman secara kontekstual tentang tari sebenarnya akan memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan terhadap pembentukan karakter siswa yang mempelajari. Dengan pemahaman kontekstualitasi maka anggapan tari sebagai pelajaran praktek ansich akan terkikis. Penelitian menggunakan kajian pustaka dengan menggunakan meta analisis dari review sejumlah jurnal nasional dengan mengelompokkan artikel dengan topik yang sama kemudian dianalisis yaitunya Tari Piring. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa  terdapat nilai pendidikan karakter dalam gerak tari piring perlu dilakukan secara berkesinambungan untuk menanamkan nilai pendidikan karakter sejak dini.   Today's children do not understand the value of characters in raising awareness for the preservation of local arts, such as the dish dance. This research aims to describe the educational values of characters and reveal the meaning of character values contained in plate dance in Sanggar Tuah Saiyo Padang. The benefits that can be obtained from a contextual understanding of dance will actually make a significant contribution to the formation of the character of the students who study it. By understanding contextualization, the perception of dance as an ansich practical lesson will be eroded.This research aims to articulate the educational value of the character found in the plate dance movement. The study used a literature review using meta-analysis of reviews from a number of national journals by grouping articles with the same topic then analyzed based on the dance moves of the dish. The results of the study show that there is a value of character education in the movement of the plate dance needs to be done continuously to instill the value of character education from an early age.

Abstract

The use of teaching modules in learning processes still faces challenges, especially printed materials that tend to be monotonous and less appealing to students in the digital era. These challenges affect students' understanding and engagement in learning, particularly in courses that require artistic appreciation, such as Nusantara Music. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of developing interactive e-modules to enhance students' comprehension and engagement in this course. The research employed a research and development (R&D) method using the ADDIE development model, which comprises five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Data were collected through pretests and post-tests to measure cognitive and psychomotor learning outcomes. Data analysis was conducted by comparing pretest and post-test results using descriptive statistical tests. The findings revealed that the developed interactive e-module effectively improved students' comprehension, as indicated by significant improvements in post-test scores compared to pretest scores. Additionally, the use of e-modules increased student engagement during the learning process. The study concludes that the ADDIE-based interactive e-module can be effectively utilized as a learning medium to enhance students' learning outcomes in the Nusantara Music course.
