Abstract

Marketing channels that run well will reap huge profits. This research aims to find out; 1) marketing channels for tomatoes in the Cijapati farmer group in Mekarlaksana Village, Cikancung District, Bandung Regency, 2) the amount of margin, costs and profits from marketing tomatoes in the Cijapati farmer group in Mekarlaksana Village, Cikancung District, Bandung Regency, 3) share of the price received by farmers (farmer's share) in the Cijapati farmer group in Mekarlaksana Village, Cikancung District, Bandung Regency. This research is descriptive quantitative using the case study method. The sample of respondents was taken as many as 23 people using the census and snowball sampling method. The research results show that The Cijapati farmer group has established a linear marketing channel for their tomatoes. The distribution process starts from farmers as producers, then moves to wholesalers as main distributors. After that, the tomatoes will be distributed to retailers before finally being sold to final consumers. 2) Total marketing margin of IDR 2,500. Total marketing costs reached IDR 412 from the total expenditure during marketing. From the difference between marketing margin and marketing costs, a marketing profit of IDR 2,088 is obtained. 3) Farmers receive 50% of the total marketing margin of IDR 2,500, which is IDR 1,250, while the remainder is used for marketing costs and profits.

Abstract

The Sangiang Bedil Durian Garden, located in Cipeuteuy Village, Darmaraja District, Sumedang, is an attractive agro-tourism destination. This study aims to identify the characteristics and perceptions of tourists visiting the site. Using a descriptive quantitative method through observation and incidental questionnaires administered to 50 respondents, the findings show that the majority of visitors are female, aged 20–29 years, high school graduates, students, earning less than Rp1,000,000, originating from Sumedang, and learned about the site through social media. Most visitors came with friends or family using private vehicles and had a recreational budget under Rp200,000. Although most were first-time visitors, many expressed a willingness to return. Overall, tourist perception was categorized as high, with a total index score of 38.59. The highest-rated aspects were the durian products (41.35), followed by facilities (41.08), attractions (40.90), and supporting services (39.55). However, accessibility received the lowest rating (30.05), due to poor internet connectivity and a less strategic location.

Abstract

Strawberry (Fragaria × ananassa) is a horticultural commodity widely developed in the form of agritourism, one example being Haifresh Strawberry Lembang, located in Cikahuripan Village, Lembang District, West Bandung Regency. This study aims to analyze the financial feasibility of strawberry farming. The research is a case study with a descriptive quantitative approach. Data were obtained through observation, structured interviews, and documentation. The analysis was carried out using five financial feasibility indicators, namely Net Present Value, Net Benefit Cost Ratio, Gross Benefit Cost Ratio, Internal Rate of Return, and Payback Period. The results show that strawberry farming at the research site is financially feasible. The NPV reached IDR 254,339,787.00 (> 0), Net B/C was 2.34 (> 0), Gross B/C was 1.42 (> 0), IRR was 65.56% (> 6%), and the Payback Period was 1 year 1 month 7 days of the business life span. This financial feasibility analysis indicates that strawberry farming activities at Haifresh Strawberry Lembang are economically profitable and have sustainable potential as a model of environmentally friendly agriculture.
