Abstract

The aim of this study is to see the shape of the model of impact school coaching management. This study is Research and Development (R & D). Data collection use interviewed, documentation, and Focus Group Discussion. The development phase is carried out through: (1) preliminary study, (2) arrangement model, (3) validation by expert from academic and also practitioner, (4) revision of product design and (5) proper model of coaching is tested. Data analysis conducted during in the field with the steps of data reduction, data display, and image/verification conclusions. The results showed that running coaching is difficult to finish. In addition, there is no structured and systematic planning, causing the implementation of coaching run by chance, depend on the demand from the school. There is no evaluation program for the coaching itself. The product of this study is coaching model Adiwiyata school impact base on participation that completed. Based on the feasibility result test conducted by experts and practitioners, the model is considered feasible to be tested by practitioners.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to provide an overview of music teachers' experiences and perceptions of music education management in the schools where they teach in Palangka Raya City. Methods: This article uses a descriptive qualitative approach and involves music teachers from five high schools in Palangka Raya City as participants. Data were collected through interviews and observations, then analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing, and data verification. Results and Discussion: The results showed that music teachers faced various challenges in carrying out their duties, especially limited resources. However, the music teachers also achieved successes in carrying out their duties, such as increasing students' interest in music, creating a creative learning environment, and improving students' ability to understand music. This study also shows that music teachers have hopes and needs for future music education management, such as increased resources and improved curriculum quality. Conclusion: The results of this study can provide insights for teachers in developing better music education management approaches, help school principals in providing the necessary resources and support to improve music education management, and can provide insights for other music education researchers and practitioners on important issues in music education management at the high school level, especially in Palangka Raya City.

Abstract

The picture and picture type cooperative learning models is an appropriate learning model in developing student creativity, generating is a sense of fun during learning by arranging pictures in the correct order. This research uses quantitative approach with experimental research data analysis with descriptive statistics and inferential statistics and hypothesis testing to see the influence of two variables with the t-test. The aims of this research are 1). To determine the effect of the picture and picture type cooperative learning model on the learning outcomes of class III-B students 2). To compare picture and picture type cooperative learning model with lecture model on the learning outcomes of class III-B students at Junior High School 5 Menteng Palangka Raya. The results of this research in the paired sample t-test show a 2-tailed sig result of 0.00 < 0.05, so There is an influence of the picture and picture model on student learning outcomes and the independent sample t-test obtained a result of 0.01 < 0.05. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of the picture and picture cooperative learning model on student learning outcomes compared to the lecture model.

Abstract

The Community Engagement (PkM) of the Faculty of Teacher Training of Christian Education choosing the topic is because: Firstly, the author considers SMKN 1 Pulang Pisau to be a potential high school for activities because their Principal is an arts graduate. Second, the school has complete musical equipment as far as the author is concerned. Third, the location and venue of SMKN 1 Pulang Pisau is spacious and adequate as a location for activities. Fourth, the school was able to command all secondary school principals to send representatives of teachers who had taught in the cultural arts department. We explored creative strategies through an ensemble approach in interfaith music learning after reinforcement and/or empowerment. The implementation method in PkM that we have done is Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) method with implementation stages through discovery, dream, design, define and destiny. Our PkM team evaluated the implementation and sustainability of the program at SMKN 1 Pulang Pisau for 4 days. As a result, the beneficiaries were able to plan, select methods, and implement Cultural Arts learning, with music specifications through an ensemble approach. The ensemble as a national music landscape is able to produce musical creativity and resonant rhythms through materials around the beneficiary schools. For example, gallons, bamboo, and wood.

Abstract

Strategi promosi yang tepat diperlukan untuk meningkatkan jumlah peserta didik pada suatu lembaga pendidikan. Sekolah harus menyusun strategi yang efektif agar mampu menghadapi persaingan yang ketat antar sekolah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menggali lebih dalam terkait strategi promosi sekolah yang dilakukan oleh SMA Kristen Palangka Raya untuk meningkatkan jumlah peserta didik. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian tentang strategi yang dilakukan oleh SMA Kristen Palangka Raya yaitu: 1) Melakukan kunjungan ke sekolah menengah pertama (SMP) yang terletak di kota Palangka Raya, 2) Penyebaran brosur, 3) Promosi melalui media sosial, 4) Promosi melalui website sekolah, 5) Mengadakan kegiatan di sekolah. Selain strategi yang telah dilakukan, terdapat strategi baru yang akan diterapkan oleh sekolah, yaitu: 1) Melakukan kunjungan ke gereja, 2) Melakukan kunjungan ke sekolah menengah pertama (SMP) yang terletak di luar daerah.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the pastoral leadership style and its impact on increasing church growth in GKB El-Shaddai Palangka Raya. Leadership style is a leader’s way of influencing his group so that they can work together to achieve the goals that have been set. This research is a field research with a qualitative approach and a descriptive type of research that aims to identify and describe the pastoral leadership style and its impact on increasing church growth in GKE El-Shaddai Palangka Raya. The data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews and documentation conducted on pastors, church councils, and church members at GKB El-Shaddai Palangka Raya. The results of the study concluded that the leadership style of the pastor in leading the church members at GKB El-Shaddai Palangka Raya tends to lead to a participatory, democratic, autocratic, moralist and paternalistic leadership style. This can be seen from various aspects including the ability of the shepherd to solve problems, the personality of the shepherd, and the ability to communicate. The impact of the pastoral leadership style is that the church is experiencing growth in terms of quality (quality) and quantity (quantity). Growth in terms of quantity (amount) is indicated by the increasing number of church members every year. Growth in quality can be seen from the life of the congregation who enjoys participating in worship, prayer fellowship, sharing, and having the ability to serve in worship such as playing music, leading praise, and singing. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui gaya kepemimpinan gembala dan dampaknya dalam meningkatkan pertumbuhan gereja di GKB El-Shaddai Palangka Raya. Gaya kepemimpinan merupakan cara pemimpin untuk mempengaruhi kelompoknya agar dapat saling bekerjasama untuk mencapai tujuan yang telah ditetapkan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lapangan dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan jenis penelitian deskriptif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskrifsikan mengenai gaya kepemimpinan gembala dan dampaknya dalam meningkatkan pertumbuhan gereja di GKB El-Shaddai Palangka Raya. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi yang dilakukan terhadap gembala, majelis jemaat, dan anggota jemaat di GKB El-Shaddai Palangka Raya. Hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan yang dimiliki gembala dalam memimpin anggota jemaat di GKB El-Shaddai Palangka Raya cenderung mengarah kepada gaya kepemimpinan partisipatif, demokratis, otokratis, moralis dan paternalistik. Hal tersebut dilihat dari berbagai aspek diantaranya kemampuan gembala dalam memecahkan masalah, kepribadian yang dimiliki gembala, serta kemampuan dalam berkomunikasi. Dampak yang di timbulkan dari gaya kepemimpinan gembala adalah gereja mengalami pertumbuhan dari segi kualitas (mutu) dan kuantitas (jumlah). Pertumbuhan dari segi kuantitas (jumlah) di tandai dengan meningkatnya jumlah anggota jemaat setiap tahun.Pertumbuhan secara kualitas (mutu) dilihat dari kehidupan jemaat yang senang dalam mengikuti ibadah, persekutuan doa, suka berbagi, dan memiliki kemampuan untuk melayani dalam ibadah seperti bermain musik, memimpin pujian, dan singer.

Abstract

Satuan Pendidikan Non-Formal (SPNF) Sejenis Sanggar Kegiatan Belajar (SKB) Kabupaten Pulang Pisau provides equality education programs for people who still need to complete their education successfully. An equal education program is essential for people whose education has stopped. The ages of people who have stopped attending school vary widely, from young to adults. The problem in the SPNF Sejenis SKB Kabupaten Pulang Pisau is the difficulty of conveying material to adult students. The knowledge and skills of tutors in teaching, especially adults, are essential. Based on this, it is necessary to carry out training to strengthen andragogy competencies for learning teachers. After strengthening and empowering, tutors are expected to be able to understand adult teaching, find adult learning strategies to be creative in teaching, and carry out teaching using the strategies that have been found. Based on the evaluation of activities that have been carried out, training to strengthen the andragogy competencies of learning teachers has had a positive impact. Teachers learn based on a theoretical understanding of adult teaching and can creatively make teaching materials and deliver material.
