Abstract

Kelangkaan awan pada saat musim transisi menyebabkan penggunaan pesawat terbang untuk kegiatan modifikasi cuaca menjadi tidak efisien, sedangkan penyemaian awan dari darat sangat terbatas wilayahnya bergantung dari posisi menara Ground Based Generator (GBG) dibangun. Perbaikan sistem penyemaian awan dari darat telah dilakukan dengan menggunakan drone pertanian yang dimodifikasi. Dengan menambahkan sistem penyemburan pada tangki yang telah tersedia, drone dapat digunakan untuk menyemai awan menggunakan bahan semai serbuk berukuran 2-5 mikrometer. Drone akan dioperasikan di wilayah pegunungan dengan menyasar pada awan-awan orografis. Hasil studi explorasi menunjukkan bahwa Drone Agras MG 1 P memenuhi spesifikasi yang dibutuhkan dengan penambahan sistem pengeluaran bahan semai serbuk. Uji sistem penyemaian menunjukkan bahwa bahan semai dapat menyembur keluar sampai ~1,4 meter dari ujung cerobong

Abstract

Plastic remains dominant in everyday life in Indonesia, favored for its affordability and long-lasting properties. However, the negative impact is seen through non-biodegradable plastic waste which damages the environment and causes the transfer of toxic compounds. Various efforts to deal with plastic waste, such as burning and burial, produce new problems. The lack of public knowledge and awareness highlights the importance of education in managing plastic waste. This research aims to reveal the situation of plastic waste processing, with a theoretical review of previous research, literature study methodology, and the potential for creativity in managing plastic waste. The research method uses literature study and observation techniques to collect information. The result of this research is a product created with economic value from plastic waste. Apart from reducing plastic waste, these creative products can also increase people's income, because the products produced can be sold at high prices.

Abstract

IPS can be interpreted as a study or study of society. Difficulties in understanding social studies material can be caused by various factors, such as the complexity of the content, less effective teaching methods, and a lack of connection between the material and students' daily lives. These factors can hinder students' learning process and affect their overall learning outcomes. The method used in this research is a questionnaire which is a data collection method carried out by giving a set of questions or written statements to respondents to answer. The data collection techniques used are primary data and secondary data, where primary data is data directly obtained from respondents while secondary data is data obtained from sources relevant to the research topic, such as books, articles, theses, etc. The results of this research show that the interest of students at SMP Negeri 1 Sidikalang in International Trade material varies, with 50% very interested but 26.7% feeling less interested. The main obstacle comes from the teacher's delivery which is considered less interesting and material which is considered irrelevant to everyday life. Although many students find assignments and evaluations helpful, there is an urgent need for innovation in learning methods to make them more interactive and relevant. Based on the results of a survey conducted via Google Form on 10 respondents from students at SMP Negeri 1 Sidikalang, it appears that students face various obstacles in understanding and being interested in international trade material.

Abstract

This study examines the working mechanisms of various global satellite navigation systems, such as GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and BeiDou, as well as their integration potential across multiple sectors. The research uses a qualitative descriptive approach through literature review of relevant scientific sources. All satellite navigation systems operate based on the principle of triangulation using radio signals from satellites equipped with high-precision atomic clocks. The procedure includes satellite deployment, signal transmission, distance measurement, and position calculation by receiver devices.The results show that although each system has distinct technical characteristics and strategic orientations, integration between systems—through GNSS, SBAS, radar, and Earth observation technologies—can enhance the accuracy, reliability, and coverage of global navigation services. These systems offer wide-ranging benefits in areas such as transportation navigation, fleet tracking, disaster mitigation, environmental conservation, and military applications. This research emphasizes the importance of understanding the procedures and integration of satellite navigation systems to support cross-sector operational efficiency and strengthen technological resilience in the face of global challenges.

Abstract

Lake Singkarak is a tectonic lake that plays a vital role in supporting the economic life of the surrounding community, especially traditional fishermen in Nagari Sumpur. However, pressure on the ecosystem and the decline in the population of bilih fish pose a threat to the sustainability of fishermen's livelihoods. This study aims to analyze the form of community empowerment carried out and its impact on improving the fishermen's economy. The study was conducted through a qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study showed that although an empowerment program had been carried out through assistance with fishing gear and PAP funds, its sustainability was not well maintained. Fishermen's income has not shown a significant increase, and tourism development has not fully touched their welfare. A more integrated strategy is needed between the fisheries and tourism sectors to realize sustainable empowerment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh penurunan kualitas hutan mangrove terhadap ekosistem dan kondisi sosial ekonomi penduduk di area pariwisata Pantai Serambi Deli, khususnya di Desa Paluh Sibaji, Kecamatan Pantai Labu, Kabupaten Deli Serdang. Metode yang diterapkan adalah kualitatif deskriptif, dengan cara pengumpulan data melalui wawancara semi-terstruktur dan observasi lapangan, serta sumber data sekunder dari berbagai literatur ilmiah. Temuan penelitian mengindikasikan bahwa kerusakan mangrove terjadi akibat aktivitas manusia seperti penambangan pasir laut, perubahan fungsi lahan untuk usaha tambak dan perkebunan sawit, serta rendahnya upaya pemeliharaan lingkungan. Dampak lingkungan yang muncul meliputi pengikisan pantai, hilangnya tempat tinggal biota laut, penurunan mutu air dan udara, serta meningkatnya ancaman bencana pesisir. Dari segi sosial ekonomi, masyarakat menghadapi penurunan produktivitas perikanan, sengketa lahan, akses terbatas terhadap sumber daya alam, serta memburuknya kesehatan. Penemuan ini menyoroti nilai pengelolaan dan pelestarian mangrove yang melibatkan komunitas guna mempertahankan keberlangsungan ekosistem pesisir serta mendukung kesejahteraan masyarakat setempat.

Abstract

This research explores the factors that influence the income of corn farmers in Marelan, as well as analyzing the impact of these factors and formulating strategies for increasing income. Corn is an annual plant with a life cycle of 80 to 150 days, and is important as a source of carbohydrates. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with data analysis from various sources such as magazines, Google and trusted websites. The research results show that land area, capital, crop yields and number of workers have a significant influence on corn farmers' income. Recommended strategies include the use of modern agricultural technology, training and education of farmers, as well as collaboration with research institutions, government and private organizations. Increasing farmer income can be achieved through optimizing production resources and effective management. In conclusion, production factors such as land, capital and labor greatly influence corn farmers' income, and strategic steps need to be taken to ensure sustainability and increase farmer income.

Abstract

This research highlights the importance of collaboration between universities and schools in preparing student teachers to face modern educational trends through practical teaching experience in the field. The focus of the research is on the geography learning assessment process in three high schools in Medan (SMAN 1, SMAN 2, SMAN 3), including the creation of Learning Implementation Plans (RPP), evaluation, and the obstacles faced by teachers. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with observation, interviews and document analysis. The research results show that SMAN 1 Medan uses CBT-based formative and summative assessments, with some students facing health problems and a lack of gadgets. At SMAN 2 Medan, assessments integrate HOTS and digital applications such as Quizizz and Google Forms, but students experience impaired focus due to cellphone use in class. SMAN 3 Medan follows the 2013 Curriculum and Merdeka Curriculum guidelines in making lesson plans, with evaluation using digital tools and This research provides insight into the practices and challenges in assessing geography learning as well as suggestions for improving assessment methods and providing more comprehensive learning tools.
