Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) bentuk pengelolaan mataair yang dilakukan oleh PDAM dan penduduk; (2) dampak pengelolaan mataair terhadap kondisi ekonomi; (3) kondisi social; dan (4) kondisi budaya masyarakat desa Bayongbong Kecamatan Bayongbong Kabupaten Garut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskripsi kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan: (1) observasi; (2) wawancara mendalam (indepth interview); dan (3) studi dokumentasi. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah interactive model of anlysis, dengan tiga komponen: seleksi data, penyajian data dan penyimpulan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bentuk pengelolaan mataair yang dilakukan bersifat partial treatment proses, perbedaan pengelolaan yang dilakukan terletak pada proses disinfeksi, PDAM melakukan proses disinfeksi dan masyarakat tidak. Hasil akhir menyimpulkan bahwa pengelolaan mataair tidak berpengaruh terhadap kondisi ekonomi, Dampak terhadap kondisi sosial hanya mencakup perluasan distribusi air saja. Dampak pengelolaan terhadap kondisi budaya, yakni perubahan prilaku masayarakat dalam memanfaatkan air. Kata Kunci: mataair, ekonomi, sosial, budaya.

Abstract

Tulisan ini mendeskripsikan pengertian, jenis serta kelemahan dan keunggulan dari Authentic Assesment Dalam Pembelajaran Geografi. Metode penulisan yang digunakan studi kepustakaan (library research)dari sumber dan hasil penelitian yang relevan. Authentik Assesment merupakan suatu proses evaluasi yang melibatkan berbagai bentuk pengukuran berupa produk-produk dan kinerja yang mencerminkan pembelajaran siswa, pencapaian, prestasi, motivasi dan sikap peserta didik pada aktivitas yang relevan dalam pembelajaran geografi di kelas. Jenis dari Authentik Assesment meliputi Assesment Kinerja, Fortopolio, dan Diri siswa. Kelebihan Authentik Assesment meliputi Guru mampu mengetahui kelebihan dan kelemahan dari siswa dalam pemahaman lithosfer, dapat menggambarkan pencapaian seorang siswa, meningkatkan proses belajar mengajar, siswa lebih jelas mengetahui kewajiban-kewajiban untuk menguasai tugas-tugas. Kelemahan dari Authentic Assesment : biaya asesmen otentik lebih banyak dibanding tes-tes standar, menuntut untuk mengembangkan pendidikan dan profesionalitas, tidak dapat memperlihatkan trend-trend jangka panjang seperti tes-tes standar, memiliki bias di pihak penilai dan waktu yang diperlukan dalam proses pemahaman materi lithosfer cenderung lebih banyak.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) faktor yang mempengaruhi tingkat kemacetan lalu lintas; dan (2) upaya yang harus dilakukan untuk mencegah dan mengurangi kemacetan di Jalan H. Rais A Rahman. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik sampling yang digunakan yakni teknik purposive sampling dengan subjek penelitian sebanyak 20 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah observasi, wawancara mendalam (Indepth Interview) dan studi dokumenter. Teknik analisis data yakni analisis interaktif. Hasil penelitian sebagai berikut: (1) Faktor yang menyebabkan kemacetan lalu lintas faktor jalan (lebaran jalan, volume kendaraan, jarak lampu lalu lintas yang dipasang cukup banyak dan berdekatan dan persimpangan jalan/gang) dan faktor manusia (kegiatan pasar tradisional dan pasar modern, kegiatan parkir sembarangan); dan (2) Upaya yang dilakukan untuk dan mencegah/mengurangi kemacetan lalu lintas: memperlebar jalan, membatasi jumlah/volume kendaraan, menerapan peraturan yang lebih ketat sebagai upaya pencegahan dan pengurangian kemacetan. Sedangkan upaya pencegahan dari faktor manusia seperti: Pelarangan penggunaan jalan untuk kegiatan pasar, Penertiban/pelarang penggunaan jalan raya untuk area parkir dan menerapkan upaya untuk merubah sikap, kebiasaan dan perilaku (habits and behaviors) yang selama ini dilakukan secara keliru.

Abstract

Development of thinking skills and character building of students in national education to form a dignified nation. The social character that is formed in the human personality will equip them to be able to live side by side full of love, mutual respect, democracy, mutual cooperation, peace and mutual concern. The purpose of this study was to identify, explore and obtain a factual description of the values ​​of the social character of pencak silat in the Riksa Raga hermitage as a social studies learning resource. The research method used is a quantitative approach with the type of oneshot case study, data collection techniques using questionnaires, interviews and observations. The data analysis technique used validity test, reliability test, normality test, hypothesis test, homogeneity test and descriptive analysis test. The results of this study can be identified (1) there are values ​​that exist in pencak silat, namely religious values, caring values, tolerance values ​​and cooperation values; (2) the values ​​of social character contained in pencak silat such as the value of cooperation, the value of tolerance and the value of caring or solidarity; and (3) having a relatively effective level of efficiency, this is in accordance with the results of the prerequisite test analysis. Therefore, the application of social character values ​​has the effectiveness to be used as a social studies learning resource. So that the values ​​of social character can be used as a source of social studies learning at SMP Fauzaniyyah class VIII with the material of diversity and plurality.

Abstract

Problems in the world of education at the time of the outbreak of COVID-19, which can cause students to experience obstacles in learning. The use of learning media using technology is closer to its use by students because, currently, various activities are closely related to technology. Learning with technology can be conveyed through various media or multimedia. The research approach uses quantitative research methods, such as the quasi-experimental design, and the research design uses a nonequivalent control group design. Then the purposeful or judgmental sampling technique. Research data collection techniques using tests identified through pretests and posttests and non-tests through observation, interviews, and documentation studies Data validation analysis techniques use validity tests, normality tests, homogeneity tests, hypothesis tests, and normalized gain tests. The results of the study showed that (1) there was no significant difference in pre-test results between the experimental class and the control class before learning began. (2) There is a significant difference in pre-test results between the experimental class and the control class before learning begins. (3) There is an increase in students' learning motivation when PowerPoint learning media is applied. The conclusion is that the learning PowerPoint medium plays a role in supporting students' learning motivation.

Abstract

Education is the process of transferring values in a society to each individual in it and the process of transferring cultural values through teaching. Socio-cultural changes are very fast and touch changes in value systems, so that they have an impact on the intensity of socio-cultural problems. The research approach uses quantitative research with a quasi-experimental design type, and the research design uses a nonequivalent control group design. Then use the purposeful sampling technique, or judgmental sampling. Research data collection techniques using tests identified through pretests and posttests and non-tests through observation, interviews, and documentation studies Data validation analysis techniques use validity tests, normality tests, homogeneity tests, hypothesis tests, and normalized gain tests. The results of the study show that (1) it can be identified before using the LKPD that there is no significant difference in the pre-test results between the experimental class and the control class before learning begins. (2) There are significant differences in pretest results between the experimental class and the control class before learning begins. (3) The attitude of students towards the application of student worksheets in general shows a very good attitude, and the attitude of students towards the application of student worksheets for everyone shows a very good attitude and influences the increase in student motivation. Thus, LKPD-based learning plays a role in supporting the increase in learning motivation in students.

Abstract

Adolescent education in the Indonesia-Malaysia border region faces complex interrelated challenges. This study explores the conditions of education at SMK Entikong through a qualitative approach, focusing on the real experiences of teachers, students, and the community. The results of the study show that limited physical infrastructure, difficulty in geographical access, shortage of teachers, and socio-economic pressure of the family are the main obstacles to the sustainability of education. Many students have to help their family's economy to the point of being at risk of dropping out of school, while minimal practical facilities cause low job readiness for vocational school graduates. These findings show that the problem of education in border areas cannot be solved with a single approach. Cross-sectoral collaboration and contextual policies are needed to ensure the equitable distribution and sustainability of education in this strategic area.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the extent to which the Basic Competencies (KD) in Geography in the 2013 Curriculum contribute to strengthening students' spatial literacy. The study used a qualitative descriptive approach with content analysis techniques on curriculum documents and source triangulation. The results showed that the Basic Competencies in Geography in grades X, XI, and XII have varying levels of strengthening spatial literacy. Grade X plays a role in building a foundation for spatial understanding related to geosphere phenomena. Grade XI strengthens understanding of spatial interactions through materials on resource distribution, population dynamics, and human-environment relationships. Meanwhile, grade XII is the level with the greatest contribution to spatial literacy through materials on remote sensing, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), rural-urban spatial patterns, and zoning. Although the structure of the Basic Competencies shows gradual development, it is not entirely consistent in demanding advanced spatial skills, especially at earlier levels. These findings emphasize the importance of strengthening learning strategies and supporting school facilities to maximize the potential of Basic Competencies in building students' spatial literacy.

Abstract

The Merdeka Curriculum represents a major educational reform in Indonesia designed to enhance learning quality through curriculum flexibility, authentic assessment, and the strengthening of the Pancasila Student Profile. This study aims to analyze the underlying principles and approaches in the development of the Merdeka Curriculum as well as the key challenges encountered during its implementation in schools. Employing a literature review method, this research synthesizes policy documents, scholarly articles, and relevant theoretical sources through thematic analysis. The findings indicate that the Merdeka Curriculum offers a more adaptive and learner-oriented framework that aligns with the demands of the 21st century and contemporary global developments. The curriculum provides greater autonomy for teachers and schools, encourages project-based learning, and places a strong emphasis on character development. However, the results also reveal several persistent obstacles, including limited teacher readiness to act as curriculum designers, disparities in technological and digital infrastructure across regions, and inconsistent application of authentic assessment practices. These challenges hinder the full realization of learning transformation as intended by the curriculum. Therefore, future educational reform efforts must prioritize continuous teacher professional development, equitable distribution of educational resources, and the cultivation of an innovative school culture. Strengthening these aspects is essential to ensure that the Merdeka Curriculum can be implemented effectively and that the Pancasila Student Profile can be achieved consistently across diverse educational settings in Indonesia.
