Abstract

The purpose of this research examine how organizational learning, employer branding, and flexibility of work determine employee innovative behavior in the creative industry sector. In this study, quantitative method using survey design was employed, specifically with a sample size of 120 purposively selected respondents. A five-point Likert scale questionnaire was used in the data collection process. Before performing a multiple linear regression analysis, the data was subjected to classical assumption tests of normality, heteroscedasticity, and multicollinearity. The analysis findings indicate that all three variables, organizational learning, employer branding, and work flexibility, jointly impacted innovative behavior at work, evidenced by an R² value of 0.68. Partially, each variable also showed a positive effect, indicating that the stronger the learning culture in the organization, the more positive the perception of employer branding, and the greater the work flexibility provided, the higher the level of innovation demonstrated by employees. This study contributes to the development of theory in the field of human resource management and can serve as a basis for creative companies in developing strategies to create a work environment that encourages sustainable innovation.

Abstract

This study analyzes the comparative effectiveness of the GASING (Easy, Engaging, and Enjoyable) approach and the Deep Learning approach in improving the mathematics learning outcomes of elementary school students regarding whole number content. A quasi-experimental pretest-posttest design was employed with 18 students from two classes at a public elementary school in Siak Regency, Riau Province (Class A: Deep Learning, n = 9; Class B: GASING, n = 9). Data were collected using a 20-item validated multiple-choice achievement test (KR-20 = 0.78) and semi-structured interviews. Quantitative analysis included normalized N-Gain, paired-samples t-tests, the Mann-Whitney U test, and Cohen's d effect size. Results indicated that both approaches significantly improved learning outcomes. The Deep Learning approach yielded a medium N-Gain ($\langle g \rangle$ = 0.547, t = 6.874, p < 0.001), whereas the GASING approach yielded a high N-Gain ($\langle g \rangle$ = 0.827, t = 8.847, p < 0.001). Between-group comparison confirmed that the GASING approach was significantly more effective (U = 70.5, p = 0.009, Cohen's d = 1.57, indicating a very large effect). Interview data corroborated these findings, showing that Class B students demonstrated greater self-confidence and active engagement. Because whole number understanding serves as the foundation for subsequent mathematical concepts—such as arithmetic operations, fractions, and algebraic reasoning—mastering this content is critical for long-term mathematical development. Therefore, identifying instructional approaches like GASING that effectively support whole number mastery is essential for strengthening students’ readiness for advanced mathematical concepts.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the dynamics of the formation of digital communities and virtual identities in the context of social media. The background of this study is the widespread use of social media that encourages the birth of digital communities based on shared interests, which contribute to the construction of virtual identities of its users. The research method uses a qualitative approach through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation of participants who are active in digital communities in the city of Bandung. The results of the study show that digital communities are formed on the basis of shared interests, facilitating intensive interactions that allow individuals to build virtual identities through digital symbols, adjustments to community norms, and adaptation strategies to social dynamics such as fanwars or differences of opinion. The virtual identities that are formed are more flexible, bold, and often different from identities in the real world. The conclusion of this study is that digital communities play an important role in the formation of dynamic virtual identities, as a reflection of the ever-evolving digital social interactions.
