Abstract

Abstract: Building composition is tightly related with functions and activities of users, so it should be able to give expression and information through elements of building. The corridor of  DI. Panjaitan and Ali Maksum’s street has a historical value as special image of the city in Yogyakarta. The purpose of this research is to identify and evaluate the condition of building through the comparison the results through identification with rules of government regulation. Data will obtained through field observations and evaluated in accordance with Government direction to know detail the extent to which a building can be setup to follow government directives and the extent of D.I. Panjaitan and Ali Maksum’s street are capable of expressing the meaning of a historical road that traversed with imaginary axis.Keywords: Identification, evaluation, comparison, building composition, the expressionAbstraksi: Tata bangunan erat kaitannya dengan fungsi dan kegiatan pengguna, sehingga mampu memberi ekspresi dan informasi melalui elemen-elemen sebuah bangunan. Koridor Jalan D.I. Panjaitan dan Ali Maksum di Yogyakarta memiliki nilai historis sebagai pembentuk citra istimewa Kota Yogyakarta. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi dan mengevaluasi kondisi tata bangunan melalui perbandingan hasil identifikasi dengan aturan regulasi pemerintah. Data diperoleh melalui pengamatan lapangan dan dievaluasi sesuai dengan detail arahan pemerintah untuk mengetahui sejauh mana penataan bangunan dapat mengikuti arahan pemerintah dan sejauh mana koridor Jalan D.I. Panjaitan dan Ali Maksum mampu mengekspresikan makna historis sebuah jalan yang dilalui sumbu imajiner Yogyakarta.Kata Kunci: Identifikasi, evaluasi, perbandingan, tata bangunan, ekspresi

Abstract

Sebagai bidang ilmu seni terapan, Teori Arsitektur berkembang tidak hanya kepada desain perancangan bangunan saja melainkan isu lingkungan sosial yang berkolaborasi dengan disiplin ilmu Manajemen yakni brand dan konsep “branding”. Tuntutan pasar Global menjadikan Arsitektur sebagai sebuah kebutuhan karena kemampuannya dalam menuangkan gagasan ke dalam sebuah bentuk serta perkembangannya di bidang Digital. Hal ini membuat arsitektur mampu membaur dengan disiplin ilmu Manajemen dalam konteks Brand. Namun muncul pertanyaan, apakah konsep perancangan Arsitektur mampu mewadahi sebuah Brand tanpa kehilangan esensi dasar dalam mendesain? Artikel ini menjadi tahap awal dalam melihat keterkaitan antara Arsitektur, kemajuan Teknologi Digital dan konsep Brand. Studi Kepustakaan diperlukan untuk mengawali proses identifikasi agar dapat menguraikan masing-masing bagian sehingga ditemukan aspek-aspek penting yang diperlukan dalam perancangan yang diduga saling berkaitan dan dapat menjadi konsep perancangan yang mendukung proses branding.

Abstract

Abstract : Architecture as a function container reminds us that image is never out of a use. A strong image is able to form a strong brand as a representation of use. When brand meets architecture, the challenge lies in the economic context, competition in presenting profits. The Principles of Economics challenge the originality of quality architectural designs. However, there is a tendency for similar visual concepts to emerge due to the power of well-known brands in the world of architecture with phenomenal characteristics. Through literature study, this paper will formulate theoretical ideas in responding to these challenges to find the formulation of the initial design basis that makes the design become original and have good quality. Keywords: brand, image, architecture, economic principles Abstrak : Arsitektur sebagai wadah fungsi menjadi pengingat bahwa citra tidak pernah lepas dari guna. Citra yang kuat mampu membentuk brand yang kokoh sebagai representasi guna. Ketika Brand bertemu dengan Arsitektur maka tantangannya terletak pada konteks ekonomi, yakni persaingan dalam menghadirkan keuntungan. Prinsip Ekonomi menantang desain perancangan arsitektur yang orisinil dan berkualitas. Namun muncul kecenderungan konsep visual yang hampir serupa akibat kekuatan brand ternama di kelas arsitektur dengan ciri khas yang fenomenal. Melalui studi kepustakaan, penulisan ini akan merumuskan gagasan-gagasan teoretis dalam menjawab tantangan tersebut sehingga menemukan rumusan landasan perancangan awal yang menjadikan desain dapat orisinil dan berkualitas. Abstract

A person's memory of the image of a place is powerful, which is influenced by a uniqueness supported by continuity of information. Every visitor's image will be very subjectively evaluated through the internet information media. The challenge lies in subjective perception through internet media information which only sometimes leads to real quality due to perceptions formed from the continuity of information received. A shift in meaning allegedly led to a phenomenon of similar motivation between video game users and traveling for healing purposes. From the perspective of a Google search, the word "traveling" refers to buildings and places with ecological and natural concepts. Meanwhile, video games also offer a natural concept but are more competitive. Using Google Trends, this study attempts to formulate city popularity data using the keyword "traveling." Natural Ecology is the highest choice for social media users, and "healing" is the primary motivation. The value of natural architectural instruments can be a focus to support a sustainable development process for a place based on the popularity of today's needs.

Abstract

Nature-based schools are an educational alternative that utilizes nature as the main medium for learning that is active and direct. The natural approach as the main medium of learning is expected to be able to help students understand the importance of knowing the conditions and potential of the natural environment as part of human life which is never separated from dependence on nature. Green School Bali applies the concept of learning with nature through the introduction of natural potential with the support of the scope of the building which also has a natural theme. Natural materials are designed as the main material for children's school buildings that still pay attention to the health of users, the majority of whom are elementary school students aged 6-12 years. This research will describe the material and design of the Green School Bali school building with the theme of nature and environmental friendliness using the case study method with archive collection and observation techniques so that a main material in the form of bamboo is found which is the hallmark of the school with many accompanying findings and considerations.

Abstract

The Philosophical Axis Corridor on Jalan DI. The Panjaitan towards the Krapyak Stage, Yogyakarta, has a historical value which implies a Philosophical Image as a noble cultural heritage as an influential path in forming the City Image. This road corridor which is about 3 kilometers long has special characteristics seen from the appearance of the buildings along the various and rhythmic road corridors, as if they have a specific purpose that represents the meaning of the path traversed by this philosophical axis. The appearance of this building also influences the daily culture of the surrounding community so that the appearance of the building reflects the contents of the building itself. As a reference for observation, some relevant data is used to support the observation process to find answers to unique phenomena along the Panggung Krapyak axis corridor. The difference in each building that seems to be rhythmic in the Jl.DI Panjaitan Corridor when viewed from an anthropological perspective, has a diverse background which is highlighted from the point of view of the social values of a developing community to produce a cultural form with character so that it has an impact on the appearance of the building and its diverse scope and rhythmic. It is found that the size and area of the building are gradually getting bigger towards the north, as if this change represents a special meaning from the philosophical axis, namely the journey of a small child to maturity.

Abstract

The development of digital technology requires teachers to be able to design interesting, interactive, and relevant teaching media with the characteristics of today's students. However, there are still many teachers at the elementary school level who have not optimally utilized digital platforms to support the learning process. This community service activity aims to improve the capacity of teachers in compiling digital teaching media through training in the use of the Canva application. The activity was carried out at SMP Negeri 5 Palangka Raya with participants from teachers from various elementary schools in the surrounding area. The implementation method used a participatory approach with workshop and hands-on practice strategies, which included an introduction to the Canva feature, practice making infographics, interactive presentation slides, and visual-based student worksheets (LKPD). The results of the activity showed that this training was able to significantly improve teachers' digital skills, as shown through the initial and final evaluations of the training and the quality of the teaching media products produced by the participants. In addition, teachers felt more confident and motivated to develop creative and interesting teaching materials. This activity is expected to be a replication model for improving teachers' digital competence, especially in the context of information technology-based learning
