Abstract

Kepengikutan guru terhadap kepala sekolah adalah faktor penting dalam mencapai lingkungan pendidikan yang harmonis dan produktif di sekolah. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap peran kepala sekolah dalam memberikan motivasi kepada guru-guru di SDN Sudimara 13. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah wawancara dengan kepala sekolah dan guru-guru serta observasi langsung di sekolah tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepala sekolah berperan penting dalam memberikan motivasi kepada guru-guru dengan berbagai pendekatan dan strategi. Motivasi yang diberikan oleh kepala sekolah mencakup motivasi intrinsik dan ekstrinsik, serta pemberian penghargaan dan dukungan yang memadai. Dalam artikel ini, kami juga membahas faktor-faktor yang dapat meningkatkan Kepengikutan guru terhadap kepala sekolah, seperti komunikasi yang efektif, kepemimpinan yang inspiratif, dan keadilan organisasional. Dengan adanya kepala sekolah yang mampu memberikan motivasi yang tepat kepada guru-guru, diharapkan akan tercipta lingkungan belajar yang kondusif dan berkualitas di SDN Sudimara 13.

Abstract

Perilaku kepemimpinan sangat dibutuhkan dalam setiap organisasi terutama pada sekolah. Sekolah memiliki peran utama dalam membentuk perilaku serta adab yang baik bagi setiap peran di dalamnya seperti kepala sekolah, guru dan juga siswa. Maka dari itu, konsep perilaku kepemimpinan harus ditanamkan sebagai cara seorang pemimpin untuk memimpin sebuah pendidikan, antara kepala sekolah memimpin guru dan siswa, guru memimpin para siswa, kemudian siswa memimpin siswa lain maupun individunya sendiri. Kepemimpinan pendidikan yang tercermin pada Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan memiliki perbedaan tersendiri dengan sekolah-sekolah menengah atas lainnya. Pemimpin sendiri  mempunyai  tanggung  jawab yang penting,  baik  secara  fisik  maupun spiritual  terhadap  keberhasilan  aktivitas  kerja  dari  yang  dipimpin, Maka, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan peranan perilaku kepemimpinan di dalam organisasi sekolah kejuruan dalam prinsip kepemimpinan pendidikan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan yaitu dengan cara wawancara yang mendalam kepada kepala sekolah, guru, serta siswa. Hasil dari penelitian kami menunjukkan bagaimana perilaku sosial yang perlu diterapkan dalam setiap individu untuk memimpin organisasi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan Total Quality Management (TQM) dalam pengembangan kurikulum berbasis kompetensi di SMK Informatika Prima Unggul serta mengidentifikasi hambatan-hambatan yang mempengaruhi efektivitas penerapannya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, di mana data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi langsung, dan analisis dokumen. Informan penelitian meliputi kepala sekolah, perwakilan 2 guru, dan 1 staf manajemen sekolah yang terlibat dalam pengembangan kurikulum berbasis kompetensi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan TQM sudah cukup efektif, dengan fokus pada pengembangan keterampilan siswa yang relevan dengan kebutuhan pasar kerja. Hambatan utama meliputi kurangnya pemahaman terhadap konsep TQM dan evaluasi kompetensi siswa yang masih kurang optimal. Studi ini menegaskan pentingnya pelatihan guru, evaluasi sistematis, dan pendekatan berbasis data untuk mendukung keberhasilan implementasi TQM.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explain the concept of authentic leadership. Authentic leadership includes something that has growing rapidly in the last two decades, and it is interesting to discuss. Authentic leadership as a pattern of leader behavior that utilize and enhances positive psychological capacity and a positive ethical climate, to foster greater self-awareness, internalized moral perspective, balanced information processing, and relational transparency from leaders who work with followers, encourage positive self-development. In its implementation authentic leadership is a leader who is able to be honest with himself and followers. Authentic leaders must be aware of themselves and be able to foster self-awareness of their employees to work optimally in the organization.

Abstract

The research aims to examine the influence of authentic female leadership on the formation of a transparent and participatory school culture at SMK Yasiska. Authentic female leadership is seen as a leadership model that focuses on integrity, openness, and authenticity in making decisions. A transparent and participatory school culture is believed to create an inclusive learning environment that supports student development. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach with in-depth interview techniques and observation of female principals and a number of teachers and students at SMK Yasiska. The results showed that authentic female leadership has an impact in creating a school culture that is open, communicative, and involves all parties in decision-making. In this case, the female principal at SMK Yasiska successfully applied leadership principles that prioritize honesty, justice, and empowerment, thus creating a more transparent and participatory school climate. This research contributes to enriching the understanding of the role of women's leadership in shaping a more democratic school culture.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate how the principal's servant leadership style and contingency factors affect student achievement at SD Daarul Quran Kalibata. The method used was qualitative with a case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with the principal, a number of teachers, and parents, as well as through direct observation in the classroom and school area. To analyze the data, researchers used thematic analysis, which allowed them to find patterns in the interaction between the principal's leadership style, contingency factors, and student learning outcomes. The findings from this study show that the principal's application of servant leadership style, which emphasizes service and attention to the needs of team members, has a positive impact on student motivation and performance. In addition, contingency factors such as support from parents, social environment and students' motivation have a great influence on their academic performance. The study concludes that educational success depends not only on leadership style, but also on external factors that support students' learning process. The suggestion from this study is for principals to continue developing a service-based leadership style as well as improving communication with parents and other supporting factors to boost student achievement at school.

Abstract

Education plays an important role in creating the progress of a nation, including in developing the character and skills of children from an early age. At the early childhood education level, the role of the principal is very crucial in improving the quality of education through the management and development of the competence of education personnel, especially teachers. This study aims to analyze the leadership behavior of the principal in improving teacher performance at Raudhatul Athfal (RA) Al-Barokah. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method, involving interviews, observations, and documentation to collect data. The results of the study indicate that the principal at RA Al-Barokah applies various leadership strategies including effective communication, coaching and motivation, creating a conducive environment, and providing adequate facilities. In addition, the principal also develops programs such as independent curriculum training, self-development workshops, teacher performance supervision, and awarding awards to encourage improvements in the quality of learning. The principal at RA Al-Barokah also emphasized the importance of performance evaluation that focuses not only on results, but also on the learning process and teacher self-development. By implementing participatory and collaborative leadership strategies, principals can create an educational environment that supports the improvement of teacher performance, which ultimately has a positive impact on the quality of learning for children. This study is expected to contribute to the development of educational leadership theory and provide practical recommendations for principals in improving the effectiveness of teacher performance at the early childhood education level.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of principal leadership in improving the quality of Human Resources (HR) at the South Tangerang City Development Madrasah Aliyah. In the context of education, the quality of HR is one of the important factors that determine the success of an educational institution. The principal, as the main leader, plays a key role in guiding and managing HR to achieve optimal educational goals. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method, which involves in-depth interviews with the principal, teachers, and administrative staff at the madrasah. The results of the study indicate that the principal plays a role in several important aspects, including planning and implementing teacher professional development programs, improving the quality of teaching through training, and managing resources to create a conducive work environment. In addition, the principal also plays a role in motivating and providing moral support to teachers to continue to develop and improve their competence. Other factors that also play an influence are clear policies, effective communication, and the principal's ability to manage change. Thus, the role of the principal's leadership greatly influences the improvement of HR quality at the South Tangerang City Development Madrasah Aliyah, which in turn will improve the quality of education at the madrasah.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the relationship between Authentic Leadership Characteristics and Women's Leadership in the Digital Era. This approach uses descriptive qualitative with the aim of producing descriptive data in the form of written or spoken words from individuals and observed behavior. Data collection is carried out from interview activities, field notes, recordings, and so on. Female leaders who adopt an authentic leadership style are usually able to demonstrate integrity and openness, thereby building trust and cooperation with subordinates and colleagues. This leadership style also provides an opportunity for women to show that they can lead effectively, without having to imitate the more authoritarian or hierarchical leadership styles of men. There are five characteristics generally possessed by women who lead: 1) Persuasion skills. 2) Their feminine nature, and empathy remain; proves criticism is inappropriate, 3) Team enthusiasm, brilliant female leaders usually apply a holistic leadership approach when facing challenges and making decisions. 4) A leader, an extraordinary female leader generally has a strong attraction, just like men. 5) Dare to take risks, no longer in a comfort zone, female leaders naturally dare to challenge boundaries and take risks, similar to men while still paying attention to details.

Abstract

Academic supervision plays an essential role in improving the quality of learning at SMP Negeri 3 Tangerang. This study aims to describe the implementation of academic supervision, its benefits in enhancing teacher professionalism, the supporting and inhibiting factors, and its contribution to strengthening the Internal Quality Assurance System through the cycle of Establishment, Implementation, Evaluation, Control, and Improvement. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach by collecting data through interviews with the Vice Principal for Curriculum and a teacher. The findings indicate that academic supervision is carried out systematically through the stages of pre-observation, observation, and post-observation, providing significant feedback for improving teachers’ competence in lesson planning, classroom management, and reflective evaluation. Supervision also serves as a foundation for evaluating the implementation of SPMI standards. Supporting factors include school leadership, a collaborative school culture, and teacher enthusiasm, while inhibiting factors relate to limited time allocation and teachers’ perceptions of supervision. The study concludes that well-implemented academic supervision contributes to strengthening SPMI when conducted continuously, systematically, and collaboratively.
