Abstract

Novels are fictional books that provide entertainment and offer unique experiences. However, many individuals face limitations in reading due to health issues, lack of time, or reading abilities. Web-based novel applications serve as an alternative for online reading, but they are not effective for individuals with reading limitations. This research aims to implement text-to-speech technology in web-based novel applications to assist individuals with reading limitations in enjoying novels more comfortably and easily. The Agile method is employed in software development, emphasizing collaboration, adaptation, and delivering high business value. The results of this research demonstrate that the implementation of text-to-speech in web-based novel applications enhances accessibility for users with visual impairments or reading difficulties. Additionally, users can multitask and customize their reading experience according to their personal preferences. These advantages can expand the target market of novel applications and stimulate interest in reading within the community. Keywords: Novel, Reading Limitations, Text-to-speech, Agile

Abstract

Keterlambatan pengiriman barang merupakan salah satu permasalahan yang dapat mempengaruhi kualitas layanan dan kepuasan pelanggan pada perusahaan logistik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor penyebab keterlambatan pengiriman barang serta memberikan usulan perbaikan menggunakan metode DMAIC pada Indah Logistik Cargo (ILC) Pilar. Data penelitian diperoleh dari total pengiriman barang periode Juni hingga November 2025 sebanyak 2.915 pengiriman dengan jumlah keterlambatan sebanyak 356 pengiriman. Hasil pengolahan data menunjukkan nilai Defects Per Million Opportunities (DPMO) sebesar 122.126 dengan level sigma sebesar 2,66 sigma. Analisis Fishbone menunjukkan bahwa faktor penyebab keterlambatan berasal dari aspek man berupa ketidakhadiran kurir dan penerima tidak berada di tempat, method berupa ketidaksesuaian jadwal armada kapal, machine berupa kendala teknis kendaraan, material berupa kesalahan label barang, serta environment berupa wilayah out delivery area yang sulit dijangkau. Usulan perbaikan yang diberikan meliputi penyediaan backup kurir, sinkronisasi jadwal pengiriman, penerapan preventive maintenance kendaraan, pengecekan label barang secara berkala, serta penggunaan sistem pemetaan logistik digital untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pengiriman barang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis penyebab terjadinya defect dent pada proses assembly di PT XYZ menggunakan metode Six Sigma dengan pendekatan DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, dan Control). Penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Data diperoleh melalui observasi lapangan, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan data sekunder quality control periode April–Agustus 2025. Berdasarkan data tersebut, defect dent merupakan jenis cacat tertinggi dengan jumlah 436 kasus atau 30,4% dari total keseluruhan defect pada Departemen Assembly. Tahap measure menunjukkan nilai Defect Per Unit (DPU) sebesar 0,0136 dan Defects Per Million Opportunities (DPMO) sebesar 13.625 dengan tingkat kapabilitas proses sebesar 3,7 sigma. Tahap analyze menggunakan analisis 5W+1H dan diagram Fishbone menunjukkan bahwa penyebab dominan berasal dari faktor manusia dan metode kerja, yaitu kurangnya ketelitian operator saat handling material, kelelahan kerja, serta belum optimalnya penerapan SOP. Tahap improve menghasilkan usulan berupa pelatihan operator, standarisasi SOP, perawatan jig dan tooling, serta penyusunan checklist pengawasan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan Six Sigma DMAIC dapat digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi akar penyebab defect dent dan memberikan rekomendasi perbaikan guna meningkatkan kualitas proses assembly.

Abstract

The assembly process of automation machine enclosures based on aluminum profiles at PT XYZ is still performed manually at low working positions, causing workers to frequently adopt bent, squatting, and prolonged sitting postures. These conditions may increase the risk of Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs), which can reduce worker comfort and productivity. This study aims to analyze the level of working posture risk in the enclosure assembly area, identify the body parts experiencing the highest level of discomfort, and design a work aid to reduce ergonomic risks. The research employed the Nordic Body Map (NBM) method to identify musculoskeletal complaints and the Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) method assisted by Ergofellow software to evaluate working posture risks. The results indicated that the dominant complaints were experienced in the back, lower back, neck, shoulders, and hands. The REBA assessment produced a score of 7 for the first worker, categorized as a medium risk level, and a score of 8 for the second worker, categorized as a high risk level. Based on these findings, an ergonomic work chair was designed with adjustable height, back support, and wheels to improve work flexibility. The implementation of the proposed work aid is expected to reduce the risk of MSDs, enhance worker comfort, and improve productivity in the enclosure assembly process

Abstract

The "Implementation of Ethics in Social Media" training held at the Alby wa Nur Foundation aims to improve participants' understanding of relevant ethical principles in interacting on social media platforms. This training is designed to address the challenges and risks associated with the use of social media, such as privacy, security, and negative social impacts. In this training, participants will learn about the importance of respecting the privacy of others, understanding the consequences of spreading inaccurate or detrimental information, and building a responsible and empathetic attitude in communicating online. The training materials will also cover best practices in managing online reputation and how to avoid behavior that can harm yourself or others. The training methods include presentations, interactive discussions, and case studies to facilitate a deep understanding and direct application of ethical principles in real situations. Thus, it is hoped that this training will equip participants with the skills needed to use social media responsibly, maintain healthy relationships online, and contribute positively to their digital environment. Abstract

Dalam era digital yang semakin maju, penggunaan teknologi menjadi krusial dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan, termasuk dalam pengelolaan dan promosi acara. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk membekali peserta dengan pengetahuan dan keterampilan praktis dalam memanfaatkan berbagai alat dan platform teknologi guna meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas manajemen acara serta strategi pemasaran yang lebih luas dan terarah. Materi pelatihan mencakup penggunaan perangkat lunak manajemen acara, teknik pemasaran digital, analitik media sosial, serta pemanfaatan teknologi interaktif untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan peserta. Dengan mengikuti pelatihan ini, peserta diharapkan mampu merancang, mengelola, dan mempromosikan acara dengan lebih profesional dan inovatif, sesuai dengan tuntutan zaman. Studi kasus dan praktik langsung akan menjadi bagian integral dari pelatihan untuk memastikan transfer pengetahuan yang aplikatif dan relevan.
