Abstract

Proses belajar menjadi kunci keberhasilan dalam hasil belajar. Guru diharapkan mampu mendesain, mengembangkan, dan menciptakan proses belajar yang baik dan menyenangkan. Masing-masing materi memiliki kemudahan dan kesulitan sendiri untuk diajarkan guru. Kesulitan dan kemudahan materi dapat dilihat dari respon dan hasil belajar siswa. Bioteknologi termasuk materi yang sulit dipahami oleh peserta didik karena mayoritas melibatkan materi yang mikroskopis. Guru diharapkan mampu memahami TPACK dalam pembelajaran sehingga peserta didik dapat memahami materi dengan baik dan benar. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan penelitian mengenai analisi TPACK (Technological, pedagogical, and content, knowledge) untuk menciptakan proses pembelajaran yang kondusif. Metode yang digunakan yaitu kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran bagaimana TPACK materi bioteknologi yang dilakukan oleh guru di Indonesia. Sehingga, penelitian ini dapat menjadi ajuan bagi guru dalam mengimplementasi TPACK pada materi bioteknologi. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan studi literatur relevan baik dari artikel dan buku pelajaran, wawancara guru, dan analisis RPP yang digunakan. Pelaksanaan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari pengumpulan data, pengorganisasian, analisis dan penarikan interpretasi serta kesimpulan. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kualitatif. Validasi hasil analisis dilakukan kepada dosen ahli untuk memastikan data dan analisi yang dilakukan. Hasil penelitian diperoleh hasil bahwa guru telah menerapkan berbagai variasi pendekatan, model, metode, dan media dalam pembelajaran. Keberhasilan dalam proses belajar tidak lain tergantung pada bagaimana memahami didaktik dan pedagogi pada materi tersebut. Sehingga, guru tidak hanya memperhatikan konten materi, tapi juga dapat memahami kebutuhan peserta didik.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji inovasi model pembelajaran interaktif berbantuan aplikasi teknologi informatika yang efektif untuk mengatasi kelemahan dari model pembelajaran yang diterapkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kajian kepustakaan (literatur review) yakni dengan teknik penelusuran berbagai penelitian yang relevan lalu disajikan secara deskriptif. Hasil analisis kajian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi model pembelajaran berbantuan teknologi dilakukan dengan cara memahami karakteristik model pembelajaran serta teknologi yang sesuai untuk mendukung kebutuhan pembelajaran. Pelaksanaan model pembelajaran yang tepat merupakan hal yang esensial bagi pendidik guna meningkatkan kompetensi belajar peserta didik. Selain itu, penggunaan teknologi bergantung pada kreativitas pendidik untuk memberikan inovasi pedagogi belajar yang dapat menjadi solusi menangani kelemahan dari model pembelajaran yang diterapkan. Adapun model pembelajaran yang dapat diintegrasikan dengan teknologi adalah model pembelajaran Predict Observe Eksplain (POE). Model pembelajaran POE merupakan suatu model pembelajaran yang terdiri dari sintak terstruktur dan sistematis yakni tahapan melakukan prediksi, observasi atau pengamatan dan diakhiri dan tahapan penjelasan. Melalui model pembelajaran ini pendidik dapat mengoptimalkan berbagai teknologi yang telah ada dan berkembang di kalangan peserta didik untuk dimanfaatkan dalam menyalurkan informasi pembelajaran, hingga kelemahan dari pengaplikasian model dapat diatasi serta pembelajaran dapat mencapai tujuan yang diharapkan.

Abstract

Ethnoscience is not something new in the world of education, although it is rarely applied in learning. This article aims to describe the application of ethnoscience-based learning to biology material in improving student achievement. This article was written using the theoretical method of literature review. The articles used in this synthesis consist of sixteen articles, each of which focuses on Biology in ethnoscience learning, Biology based on ethnoscience learning, and student achievement in both ethnoscience and non-ethnoscience based learning. The articles are published in national and international journals. This research resulted in a new concept which is a synergy between ethnoscience learning tools and student achievement.

Abstract

Environmental awareness is fundamental considering its impact on the survival of all creatures on Earth. This scoping review article aims to construct an effective and comprehensive approach to increase student environmental awareness. The writing of this article refers to the systematic review scoping method with five stages, those are topic selection, literature search, literature selection, literature assessment, and the last is analysis and synthesis of literature. The synthesis of this article focuses on research results from all aspects related to the environment as the dependent variable. Sixteen research articles published by international journals with a focus on environmental themes are the main data sources in this article. The synthesis of the 16 data sources resulted a summary of the implementation, evaluation, influencing factors as well as strategies in increasing environmental awareness from various articles and construct more effective environmental awareness approach.

Abstract

Promoting quality education through the integration of STEM-based Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) has become a significant area of interest. Integrating STEM-based ESD can enhance the quality of education by providing interdisciplinary learning opportunities that engage students in authentic, hands-on experiences. The objective of this study is to analyze existing empirical research on the utilization of STEM-ESD in order to investigate their effectiveness in fostering quality of education. The review process involved a systematic examination of journal papers published between 2018 and 2023, using both keyword search and snowballing techniques on the Scopus database. A total of 15 journal papers were selected for inclusion in this comprehensive review. The analysis indicates that STEM-ESD program is capable in increasing student self-efficacy and student engagement, STEM-ESD learning support student’s critical thinking skills and system thinking, Implementing Local Wisdom Based ESD can increase student knowledge,  STEM learning in Sustainable Food Program as an effort to increase sustainable literacy in student, ESD can increase student’s environmental awareness. In this research there are a few implications such as that STEM-ESD need to be implemented in school curriculum in order to support education that is environmentally insightful.

Abstract

Creativity Are the important skills to face the globalization in this era. Students, especially preservice teacher should have these useful skills for make next generation are more creative, struggling with the competition between human and computers, struggling with the world condition during and after pandemic strikes, and well prepared for their work field. Some of the learning approaches have been applied in the courses to construct their creativity, one of them, are STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) by the project. This research’s aim is to investigate how is preservice science teacher’s creativity by the STEM based project learning before, during, and after pandemic covid-19. The method that is used is qualitative research by using class observation and quantitively count by creativity rubrics that includes creative thinking, behaviour, and products. This research is conducted in SETS learning (2nd semester in every year) by using STEM based project from the students of science preservice teacher year 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022. STEM based project learning could improve preservice science teacher’s creativity but it has differences for each class. Class 2019 has outperformed for creativity among others. While, class 2022 has less performed for creativity among others. Based on the observation, the covid-19 outbreak has high influence to this result because of the way of their learning in their high school before. Full online learning makes the biggest impact to science preservice teacher’s creativity during covid-19 outbreak.

Abstract

This study aims to uncover current, trending, and future research areas within School-University Partnerships (SUPs). The research employs the Systematic Literature Network Analysis (SLNA) method, combining Systematic Literature Review (SLR) using the PRISMA protocol and Bibliometric Analysis with VOSviewer software. The findings indicate a consistent annual increase in SUPs publications, with the United States dominating the research landscape. The VOSviewer analysis reveals key research topics: pre-service teachers, initial teacher education, teacher education in Cluster 1, professional development and school-university partnerships in Cluster 2, and educational development, teacher training, and university in Cluster 3. Overlay Visualization highlights current research trends, including pre-service teachers, professional experience, professional learning community, professional learning, curriculum, learning communities, and communities of practice. Thematic evolution mapping suggests future research involving pre-service teachers in SUPs, such as exploring communities of practice. This research provides valuable guidance for SUPs researchers in selecting and determining future research topics, facilitating informed and strategic contributions to the field.

Abstract

In the fight against environmental degradation, local wisdom and the SDGs are intertwined. Students learn sustainability and local culture through local wisdom in the university curriculum. This study aims to describe the implementation of local wisdom and environmental ethics lectures to foster students' sustainability awareness. This study uses data collection techniques based on document review, questionnaires and interviews. The examined documents comprise the curriculum, textbooks, and additional instructional materials utilised in education. Surveys and interviews were administered to lecturers and students. The findings indicated that (1) the execution of lectures on local wisdom and environmental ethics is proceeding effectively, (2) the incorporation of local wisdom and environmental ethics into the curriculum requires enhancement to facilitate students' comprehension of the material in a tangible and factual context, (3) students exhibit commendable knowledge and awareness of sustainability. This study suggests that learning that includes sustainable principles based on local wisdom promotes meaningful experience and sustainable awareness growth.
