Abstract

This study investigates what influences consumer satisfaction with LinkAja Sharia Services, focusing on how user decisions play a role. It looks at factors like E-service quality, E-trust, and E-wom (electronic word-of-mouth) and how they affect user decisions and satisfaction. Utilizing Probability Sampling with a sample size of 165 respondents using the Simple Random Sampling method, the findings show that while E-service quality and E-trust have minor effects on user decisions, E-wom has a significant positive influence. E-service quality and E-trust positively impact consumer satisfaction, but E-wom has a negative effect. Interestingly, user decisions play a big part in consumer satisfaction, but they do not mediate the impact of E-service quality and E-trust on satisfaction. However, E-wom does mediate this impact significantly. Overall, this study sheds light on various factors affecting consumer satisfaction with LinkAja Sharia Services, offering insights for service providers to improve user experience and satisfaction.

Abstract

The halal industry has experienced significant growth in various countries with large Muslim populations, especially Indonesia, Malaysia, and Nigeria. This study aims to understand how the social and cultural characteristics of societies in these three countries influence consumer behavior toward halal products. Using a qualitative approach based on literature review, this research analyzes factors shaping halal consumption patterns, including infrastructure readiness, social inequality, and economic factors in each country. The findings reveal that although all three countries have high demand for halal products, there are significant differences in acceptance and adoption. In Indonesia and Malaysia, the halal industry is more advanced, supported by strong government policies, whereas in Nigeria, infrastructural challenges and inadequate regulations are major obstacles. The study also highlights that the public's understanding of halal extends beyond food to sectors such as cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and Islamic finance. Consequently, this research provides important contributions to the development of more inclusive halal industry policies and marketing strategies tailored to the social and cultural contexts of each country. However, the study is limited by the use of secondary data, and further research involving direct interviews with consumers and stakeholders in these countries is highly recommended.

Abstract

The state recognizes and respects indigenous and tribal people and their traditional rights insofar as they are alive and in accordance with the development of society and the principles of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia, as contained in Article 18 B paragraph 2 of the 1945 Constitution. However, the fulfillment of cultural identity and the rights of indigenous people have not been maximized. This study aims to find the conceptual model of the Customary Justice system in an effort to protect the existence of the rights of indigenous people to build the strength of civil society in West Sumatra. This research uses research and development methods. Data retrieval is done by survey, observation, interview, and Focus Group Discussion (FGD) methods. This study found that; 1) Minangkabau people have their own local wisdom in resolving customary disputes, even for a broader range of life issues, long before Indonesia was found, 2) Nagari Customary Justice system is a translation of Customary Limbago which is the life philosophy of Minangkabau people, 3) Nagari Customary Judicial institutional structure is a representation of the existence of the tribe in the Nagari, so that its cultural legitimacy becomes strong. And, 4) the Nagari Customary Justice system is an effort to build the sovereignty of civil society, namely an autonomous, independent, egalitarian, and democratic society. It is hoped that the results of this study will be a guideline in establishing the Nagari Customary Justice institution in West Sumatra.
