Abstract

As parents, teaching children to read needs to practice patience, especially at the PAUD level. Learning activities carried out in PAUD parks focus more on playing activities compared to reading. Teaching children to read requires patience because teaching reading not only makes children able to read but also fosters interest in reading until children grow up. When parents teach children to read, it needs to be done through activities that are liked by children such as giving color to the words to be read to children, even teaching reading will encourage children to continue learning. The research method used namely library research. This article aims to explain the role of parents in teaching children to read at an early age.

Abstract

This study uses a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental type. The sample was selected using the Cluster Random Sampling technique, with class XI F1 as the Quiz Team class and XI F3 as the STAD class. Data collection used a multiple-choice test of 24 items and documentation. The results showed an average increase in both learning models, where Quiz Team increased by 61.14% and STAD by 61.67% between pre-test and post-test. Hypothesis testing on Quiz Team showed a sig value (2-tailed) of 0.000 <0.05, which means Ha is accepted, namely there is a difference in student learning outcomes before and after using the Quiz Team model. In the STAD model, the hypothesis test showed t count (18.867)> t table (2.037) with a sig value of 0.000 <0.05, which means Ha is accepted, namely there is a difference in learning outcomes before and after implementing the STAD model. However, when the two models were compared using an independent sample t-test, a sig value (2-tailed) of 0.36 > 0.05 was obtained, which indicated that there was no significant difference between the learning outcomes of students using the Quiz Team and STAD models.

Abstract

Penerapan teori kognitif dalam menghafal Al-Qur'an memiliki peran signifikan terhadap kesehatan mental. Teori kognitif menekankan pentingnya proses berpikir, pemahaman, dan pengolahan informasi dalam pembelajaran, yang relevan dengan metode menghafal Al-Qur'an secara sistematis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan teori kognitif dalam proses menghafal Al-Qur'an serta dampaknya terhadap kesehatan mental. Data yang diperoleh dari partisipan yang aktif menghafal Al-Qur'an menunjukkan hubungan positif antara aktivitas menghafal dan peningkatan kesejahteraan mental. Aktivitas menghafal Al-Qur'an membutuhkan penghayatan spiritual dan emosional, yang dapat meningkatkan keseimbangan psikologis. Selama proses menghafal, seseorang dapat mengembangkan pola pikir positif dan mengendalikan emosinya, dan juga dapat membantu mengurangi stres, meningkatkan konsentrasi, dan merasa lebih tenang dan puas. Jadi, menghafal Al-Qur'an dengan teori kognitif dapat menjadi cara yang luas untuk mendukung kesehatan mental, baik untuk individu maupun komunitas.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of Smart TV and digital-based teaching materials in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning at Lolong 11 Public Elementary School, Padang City. The research method used was descriptive qualitative with a field study approach, through observation, interviews, and documentation with the principal, teachers, and students. The results indicate that the use of Smart TV as a learning medium can increase student interest in learning, facilitate understanding of religious concepts, and create a more interactive learning environment. The visual and contextual presentation of digital materials has been proven to assist teachers in conveying Islamic Religious Education (PAI) values ​​more effectively. These findings demonstrate that digital media-based learning not only addresses the challenges of developing educational technology but also strengthens the internalization of spiritual values ​​in the context of modern learning. In conclusion, the implementation of Smart TV and digital materials has a positive impact on improving the quality of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning, particularly in terms of effectiveness, interactivity, and relevance to students' lives in the digital era.
