Abstract

ABSTRAK Gastritis banyak terjadi dikalangan masyarakat, demikian juga di lingkungan prajurit. Peneliti melakukan survey dalam 1 minggu ada 1-2 prajurit yang bekunjung ke Balai Pengobatan Satlinlamil Surabaya dengan keluhan gangguan pencernaan seperti nyeri ulu hati, mual, perut kembung, dan rasa tidak enak diperut. Gastritis dapat menggangu kesiapan prajurit dalam melaksanakan tugas, dan prajurit di Balai Pengobatan Satlinlamil Surabaya memiliki tugas yang berat sehingga mereka harus senantiasa menjaga kesehatannya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat pengetahuan prajurit tentang gastritis di Balai Pengobatan Satlinlamil Surabaya. Desain penelitian ini adalah penelitian Deskriptif yaitu suatu penelitian untuk mendeskriptifkan atau menggambarkan fenomena yang terjadi pada populasi tertentu. Populasi penelitian ini adalah prajurit di Balai Pengobatan Satlinlamil Surabaya, dengan cara Total sampling sebanyak 25 responden. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa tingkat pengetahuan prajurit tentang penyakit Gastritis di Balai Pengobatan Satlinlamil Surabaya dikategorikan baik dengan jumlah16 responden (64%), namun masih ada beberapa prajurit dengan tingkat pengetahuan tentang gastritis cukup dan bahkan kurang. Program penyuluhan rutin dan edukasi yang baik tentang kesehatan kepada prajurit serta pemasangan poster, pamflet ditempat yang tepat adalah suatu usaha untuk meningkatkan tingkat pengetahuan prajurit. Kata kunci : Gastritis, Tingkat pengetahuan, Prajurit. ABSTRACT Gastritis occurs mostly among the people, as well as in the army environment. Researchers conducted a survey in one week there were 1-2 soldiers who visited the Surabaya Satlinlamil Medical Center with complaints of digestive disorders such as heartburn, nausea, flatulence, and stomach discomfort. Gastritis can interfere with the readiness of soldiers to carry out their duties, and soldiers at the Surabaya Satlinlamil Medical Center have a tough task so they must always maintain their health. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of knowledge of soldiers about gastritis in the Surabaya Satlinlamil Medical Center. The design of this research is descriptive research which is a study to describe or describe phenomena that occur in certain populations. The population of this study were soldiers at the Surabaya Satlinlamil Medical Center, with a total sampling of 25 respondents. The results of this study indicate that the level of knowledge of soldiers about gastritis at the Surabaya Satlinlamil Medical Center is categorized as good with 16 respondents (64%), but there are still some soldiers with sufficient and even less knowledge about gastritis. Routine outreach programs and good education about health to soldiers and the installation of posters, pamphlets in the right place is an effort to increase the level of knowledge of soldiers. Abstract

Activities related to increasing the caregiver's ability to care for the elderly who experience daily problems related to psychological approaches and the like have never been carried out. Caregiver communication does not support effective communication and is still social communication. Supported by the results of research conducted at the Nursing Home for the Elderly, it showed that there was a difference between pre and post-test in the group that received guidance or counseling treatment on the happiness of the elderly with a significant value. The purpose of this training is to empower elderly caregivers at Nursing Home at St. Yosef, Surabaya, and identify the effectiveness of the guidance model (Guidance) by caregivers. The number of participants is 50 people. The method used is cadre training through discussions, demonstrations, competence training and competence assessment. The result of training for caregivers is an increase in knowledge based on pre-test and post-test scores. There was an increase in skills seen in four skills, namely communication in the elderly, active movement, passive movement, mobilization, and daily activity training. The advantage of this cadre training is that it can effectively improve communication with the elderly people who are cared for in the orphanage. The implication of this activity is to increase the knowledge and skills of caregivers in providing care for the elderly through effective communication with the elderly in nursing homes as an effort to improve the health of the elderly.
