Abstract

Oral and dental health is an important thing, so the efforts to maintain oral health need to be developed from an early age. Health education targets or targets and health services that serve certain groups or populations are very supportive of a health program. One of the program series is an effort to order cadres of small dentists who are part of the School Dental Health Business (UKGS), their existence needs maximum attention. The methods implemented were cadre orders, oral health education, training and mentoring. The number of cadres is 20 students consisting of grades 3, 4 and 5. The extension methods used are lectures, questions and answers and associations. The aids used are dental models, posters, and props. The targets and outputs achieved in this service were the knowledge of cadres of small dentists about dental and oral health and minor dentists in maintaining dental and oral hygiene, skills songs of cadres of small dentists about oral health and minor dentists in carrying out maintenance. teeth and mouth, dental and oral health status and elementary school students so that they can support general health. Abstract

Penduduk yang mengalami masalah kesehatan gigi dan mulut tentu saja termasuk ibu hamil. Berat lahir pada umumnya sangat terkait dengan kematian janin, neonatal dan pascaneonatal, morbiditas bayi dan anak serta pertumbuhan dan perkembangan setelah lahir saja, melainkan bisa dimulai sejak masih didalam kandungan. Ibu hamil merupakan kelompok yang memerlukan perhatian khusus berkaitan dengan kesehatan mulut mereka dan kesehatan calon bayi mereka. Oleh karena itu perawatan gigi dan mulut ibu hamil dimulai sejak sebelum masa kehamilan dan menyadari pentingnya menjaga kesehatan mulut selama kehamilan untuk dirinya sendiri serta janin yang dikandung sehingga dapat menghindari terjadinya penyakit mulut yang dapat mempengaruhi kehamilan. Upaya Kesehatan Gigi dan Mulut dilaksanakan melalui pemberdayaan masyarakat berupa pembentukan kader Kesehatan gigi. Kader adalah setiap orang yang dipilih oleh masyarakat dan dilatih untuk menangani masalah kesehatan perorangan atau masyarakat serta bekerja dalam hubungan yang amat dekat dengan tempat pemberian pelayanan kesehatan. Tujuan Umum pengabmas ini adalah mengaplikasikan Pemberdayaan Kader Kesehatan Gigi dalam Upaya Kesehatan gigi dan mulut sebelum dan saat Kehamilan. Pelaksana kegiatan ini adalah tim Pengabmas Poltekkes Kemenkes Surabaya. Bentuk kegiatannya bekerjasama dengan Puskesmas Gunung Anyar Surabaya. Kegiatan ini berupa pemberdayaan kader posyandu dalam upaya Kesehatan gigi dan mulut sebelum dan saat Kehamilan. Sumber biaya dalam kegiatan ini dibebankan pada dana dari DIPA Poltekkes Kemenkes Surabaya. Luaran dari kegiatan ini adalah: 1) Menghasilkan Artikel Ilmiah akan dimuat pada jurnal nasional tidak terakreditasi maupun terakreditasi atau internasional yang ber ISSN dan e-ISSN, 2) Peningkatan dalam pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam upaya Kesehatan gigi dan mulut, 3) Tersusunnya dan tercetaknya Buku Pegangan Kader posyandu, 4) Diharapkan kader posyandu mampu menjalankan perannya sebagai kader Kesehatan gigi
