Abstract

penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh servant leadership dan employee empowerment terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan organizational citizenship behavior sebagai variabel intervening pada PT. PLN (Persero) UIP3B Sumatera UPT Medan. Desain penelitian path analysis digunakan sebagai alat analisis untuk menentukan arah variabel yang diteliti serta menjustifikasi seberapa signifikan pengaruh variabel independen dengan dependen baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung melalui variabel mediasi. Dalam penelitian ini seluruh populasi yang menjadi sampel, yaitu 130 orang pegawai pada PT. PLN (Persero) UIP3B Sumatera UPT Medan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel servant leadership berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap organizational citizenship behavior. Employee empowerment berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap organizational citizenship behavior. Servant leadership berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Employee empowerment berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Organizational citizenship behavior berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Organizational citizenship behavior tidak mampu memediasi pengaruh servant leadership terhadap kinerja karyawan. Organizational citizenship behavior tidak mampu memediasi pengaruh employee empowerment terhadap kinerja karyawan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of organizational culture and communication climate on knowledge sharing partially. To determine the effect of organizational culture, communication climate and knowledge sharing on employee performance partially. To determine the influence of organizational culture and communication climate on employee performance through knowledge sharing at the Medan City Regional Tax and Retribution Management Agency. The total population in this study amounted to 249 people and 153 people were used as samples using the Slovin formula. The analysis technique used is path analysis. The results show that organizational culture has no effect on employee performance, communication climate has no effect on employee performance, organizational culture has a positive and significant effect on knowledge sharing, communication climate has no effect on knowledge sharing, knowledge sharing has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, knowledge sharing mediates the influence of organizational culture on employee performance and knowledge sharing does not mediate the effect of communication climate on employee performance.

Abstract

MSMEs have a strategic role in supporting regional economic growth. However, during this pandemic, SMEs are facing obstacles such as reduced sales, limited distribution capital, raw material problems, and reduced production. This research was conducted by analyzing. This research developed a theoretical model based on the Structural Equation Model (SEM) which was tested using Amos 1.8 as an analytical tool. Respondents from this study were 128 consumers of MSME products in Garut Regency. The results of this study indicate that Entrepreneurial Orientation has no effect on competitiveness, Business strategy has an effect on Competitiveness, Entrepreneurial orientation has no effect on business performance, Business strategy has no effect on business performance, Competitiveness has an effect on business performance. The implication of this study is an entrepreneurial orientation in handling doing business in MSMEs. Someone who dares to take risks can be defined as someone who is opportunity-oriented in the context of uncertainty in decision-making. The business strategy carried out has an impact on increasing competitiveness compared to competitors. Business actors are expected to be able to improve their business performance by continuing to build even better products by increasing marketing through digital marketing. Likewise, innovating products can increase profits from the business. The limitations of this study were due to the very short time, the researchers distributed questionnaires so that many respondents could not be interviewed in depth.

Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this study is whether knowledge sharing has an effect on the Performance of the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) at PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IV (Persero) Medan. Does absortive capacity affect the performance of the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) at PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IV (Persero) Medan. Does organizational learning capability affect the performance of the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) at PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IV (Persero) Medan. Does knowledge sharing, absortive capacity and organizational learning capability affect the performance of the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) at PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IV (Persero) Medan. The total population in this study amounted to 389 people, and by using the Slovin formula obtained a sample of 80 people. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. The results showed that knowledge sharing had a positive and significant effect on innovation performance at PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IV (Persero) Medan. Absortive capacity has no effect on innovation performance at PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IV (Persero) Medan. Abstract

This research was conducted at PT. Bank Tabungan Negara (BTN) Medan with the research objective of analyzing the influenced of transformational leadership style, work experience and work environment on improving employee performance. The population were employees who work at PT. Medan State Savings Bank (BTN) was 110, sampling was taken using boring sample so that the total research sample was 110 respondents. Data analysis techniques use multiple linear regression, classical assumption testing and hypothesis testing, Based on the results, it showed that transformational leadership style, work experience and work environment partially and simultaneously have a significant effect on improving employee performance in the company. There was strong correlation between transformational leadership style, work experience and work environment on employee performance and the percentage of employee performance at PT. Bank BTN Medan could explained by transformational leadership style, work experience and work environment by 47.90% and the remaining 52.1% could explained by other variables not studied.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of work facilities, work ethics and communication on employee job satisfaction. The total population in this study was 110 people, and by using the saturated sampling technique, a sample of 110 people was obtained. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. The results showed that work facilities had a significant effect on employee job satisfaction at PT Samudera Lautan Luas Medan, work ethics had a significant effect on employee job satisfaction at PT Samudera Lautan Luas Medan, communication had no effect on employee job satisfaction at PT Samudera Lautan Luas Medan. Simultaneously it shows that work facilities, work ethics and communication have a significant effect on employee job satisfaction at PT Samudera Lautan Luas Medan.

Abstract

This study analyzed the effect of work discipline, competence, and job placement on PT Socfin Indonesia Medan employee performance. This type of research is associative research with a quantitative approach. The population in this study amounted to 135 employees, with a sample  size  of  101.  The  sampling  method  is  simple  random  sampling.  The  data  analysis technique used is multiple linear regression using SPSS Statistics version 26. The results of this study indicate that the work discipline variable had a negative and significant effect on employee  performance.  Competence  has  a  positive  and  significant  effect  on  employee performance. Job placement had a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The variables of work discipline, competence, and job placement simultaneously significantly affected employee performance.Penelitian  ini  bertujuan  untuk  menganalisis  pengaruh  disiplin  kerja,  kompetensi,  dan penempatan kerja pada kinerja karyawan pada PT Socfin Indonesia Medan. Jenis penelitian ini  adalah  penelitian  asosiatif  dengan  pendekatan  kuantitatif.  Populasi  dalam  penelitian  ini berjumlah 135 orang karyawan dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 101 orang. Metode pengambilan sampel adalah simple random sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi linear berganda dengan menggunakan alat bantu SPSS Statistics versi 26. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel disiplin kerja berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan pada kinerja karyawan. Kompetensi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan pada kinerja karyawan.  Penempatan  kerja  berpengaruh  positif  dan  signifikan  pada  kinerja  karyawan. Variabel disiplin kerja, kompetensi dan penempatan kerja secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan pada kinerja karyawan.

Abstract

The main objective of this study is to determine whether motivation mediates the influence of competence, human resource development on employee performance. Questionnaires and interviews were used to collect data. With a sample size of 138, the participants in this study were all employees of the North Sumatra Province Transportation Service. This type of research is associative quantitative, data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires and then processing the data using the SPSS Version 25 tool. The research location was at the Department of Transportation of North Sumatra Province. The results mean that the content has a positive and significant effect on work motivation, meaning that every time the load increases, work motivation also increases, if there is a decrease in the load on work motivation, it will decrease significantly. Income has a positive and significant effect on work motivation. HR development has a positive and significant effect on work motivation. Competence has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. HR development has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Work motivation has a positive effect on employee performance. Work motivation is able to influence competence indirectly on employee performance. Work motivation can indirectly influence HR development on employee performance.

Abstract

The industrial revolution 4.0 has had a major impact on the world's ecosystem and way of life. Human behavior in shopping has changed along with the development of the technological era. One of the changes is the rise of online shopping. This study analyzes the determinants of students' purchasing decisions on the Lazada marketplace, including consumer trust, promotion, and purchase interest. The study was conducted using a quantitative approach. The population of the study was 427 students of the Management Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Harapan University, Medan, and a sample of 206 students selected using the proportional random sampling technique. Primary data were collected through the distribution of online google-form questionnaires. Path analysis techniques were used to answer research problems and hypotheses. The results of the study prove that consumer trust and promotion have a significant direct effect on students' purchasing decisions on the Lazada marketplace, as well as consumer trust and promotion have a significant effect on students' purchasing decisions on the Lazada marketplace through purchase interest as an intervening variable.
