The increase in the number of patients with diabetes mellitus will exacerbate the increased risk of developing diabetic wounds. One of the efforts of diabetic wound patients to optimize their recovery is by using health care services at home visits. Objective: The research was to explore in depth the experiences of diabetic wound patients who received Home Visit care patterns. Methods: This research design uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological study. Data collection was carried out by in-depth interviews on 6 diabetic wound patients who underwent wound care at home visits. Patients were selected by purposive sampling. Results: the study found five themes, namely the reasons for choosing to do treatment at a home visit, experiences while receiving care at a home visit, obstacles experienced during a home visit, efforts to overcome obstacles, and expectations for future home visit care. Suggestion: For further researchers, it is hoped that it can be used as basic data for further research and can take advantage of the categories generated in this research.

Abstract

The prevalence of severe mental disorders such as schizophrenia reaches about 400,000 people or as much as 1.7 per 1,000 population. The most common hallucinations are auditory hallucinations, about 70% of patients experience auditory hallucinations, 20% visual hallucinations, and 10% are olfactory, tasting and tactile hallucinations. One of the treatments for hallucinatory patients is occupational therapy. Occupational therapy is a very important way or form of supportive psychotherapy to improve patient recovery. Occupational therapy helps stimulate the patient through activities he enjoys. One type of occupational therapy that is indicated for patients who hallucinate is free time activities such as sweeping, cleaning the bed. The purpose of writing this literature review was to determine the effect of occupational therapy on symptoms in patients with auditory hallucinations based on a literature review search. The design in this scientific paper was a literature review using an electronic database search method and a google schoolar search source. From this writing, found 3 articles on Google Schoolar that discussed the effect of occupational therapy on leisure activities based on classification and outcomes in accordance with the research criteria. The results of the literature review of the three articles show that occupational therapy for leisure activities has an effect on changes in symptoms in patients with auditory hallucinations. Based on these results, occupational activity therapy can be applied to patients with auditory hallucinations to reduce their symptoms.

Abstract

Peripheral artery disease is more common in people with diabetes. This chronic complication leads to disruption of peripheral blood vessel flow, thus raising the problem of the ineffectiveness of peripherial tissue perfusion Epidemiological evidence suggests a link between diabetes mellitus and an increased prevalence of perifer arterial disease. Capillary refill time (CRT) is performed quickly on the base area of the nail to monitor dehydration and the amount of blood flow to the tissue.  Objectives The study of this case study to obtain an overview of the Buerger Allen Exercise Movement on Capillary Refill Time (CRT) values in patients with type 2 diabetes. Research design used with a case study approach (single case) by expressing the results of observations and documentation on the value of Capilarry Refill Time after the client performed the Buerger Allen Exercise. Subject in this case study there are 5 patients with diabetes mellitus type 2 who do not have foot injuries and are willing to do buerger movement allen exercise in the work area of UPTD Puskesmas Bekasi Jaya. After the client performed the Buerger Allen exercise for 6 days in a row for 18 minutes each day, the result of the change occurred before and after the Buerker Allen exercise, the capillary refill time was shortened in the type 2 diabetes client. For patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus can perform buerger allen exercise independently and effectively against the effectiveness of peripheral tissue perfusion showing changes in capillary refill time values. (CRT).

Abstract

Patient safety is a fundamental healthcare principle recognized as a growing global public health challenge. The six goals of Patient Safety include accurate identification of patients, increased effective communication, increased safety of cautionary medicines, assurance of the correct surgical site, correct procedures and surgery on the proper patient, reduced risk of healthcare-associated infections, and decreased risk of patient injury due to falls. This fall incident resulted in damages and increased the length of treatment and patient care costs. Injured patients can require an extended hospital stay. This study aimed to determine the relationship between knowledge and nurses' compliance with preventing the risk of falls in patients at the West Java Regional Hospital, Bekasi City. This research method uses a cross-sectional approach to 54 nurses as a sample. The results of data analysis using the Chi-Square test showed a p-value of 0.153 (p<0.05). In conclusion, there is no relationship between nurses' knowledge and nurses' compliance regarding preventing the risk of falls in patients. Further research requires the observation of nurses' prevention of falls using the Morse fall scale observation sheets to determine whether nurses are obedient in their daily lives to prevent the risk of falls.

Higher education is crucial in developing surgical technology and professional life training. In organizing nursing education, motivation is needed, influencing internal and external factors so that nurses desire to improve their competence. Objective: to find out what factors are related to motivation to continue education nurses at the National Sports Hospital in 2024. This research aimed to determine what factors are related to nurses' motivation to continue their education at the National Sports Hospital in 2024. The type of research used was a cross-sectional design to examine whether there was a relationship between the motivational factors of family support, work environment, income, and nurses' motivation to continue their education. The population of this study consisted of nurses at the National Sports Hospital, totaling 34 respondents, and the sampling technique used was the total sampling technique. The instrument was a questionnaire, and data analysis used univariate and bivariate analysis techniques with the Spearman Rank statistical test. The study's results showed that only the family support variable had a relationship with nurses' motivation to continue their education. In contrast, work environment factors and income did not have a significant relationship: family support (prho = 0.620), work environment (prho = 0.124), and income (prho = 0.199). This research recommends that it is necessary to maximize the role of family support in nurse career development programs in hospitals and increase the role of the work environment and financial support for nurses who will continue their education
