Abstract

This study explores the development strategy of Tugu Utara Tourism Village, Bogor Regency, using a SWOT analysis approach (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats). The purpose of this research is to design an effective and sustainable strategy for rural tourism development by identifying the internal and external factors that influence it. The research method employed is a descriptive-qualitative approach, with data collection techniques including interviews, field observations, and document studies. The results indicate that Tugu Utara Village possesses abundant natural resources and high human resource potential but is still constrained by inadequate infrastructure, weak coordination among stakeholders, and limited financial support. The recommended strategy, based on the SWOT quadrant, is a diversification strategy that leverages existing strengths to address emerging threats. This research emphasizes the importance of collaboration between the community, government, and private partners in creating competitive and sustainable tourism products. The application of ecotourism principles has been gradually implemented as the foundation for developing the tourism village. In addition, enhancing human resource capacity, improving infrastructure, and utilizing information technology are key factors for the success of this strategy.

Abstract

The low level of financial literacy among rural communities, particularly in Pamulihan Village, Sumedang Regency, has created challenges in household financial management and increased vulnerability to illegal lending practices. This community service project focused on fostering saving awareness from an early age and raising public caution against illegal loans. The program was conducted by the Community Service Team of Politeknik STIA LAN Bandung, involving early childhood students of PAUD Khairunnisa and their parents as the target group. The method applied was a participatory-educative approach through interactive lectures, group discussions, and quiz-based evaluations to measure participants’ understanding. The results indicate improved knowledge among participants regarding types of savings, saving practices, and characteristics of illegal loans. Furthermore, a collective awareness emerged to start saving regularly and to avoid illegal borrowing, along with the initiation of family saving groups by participants. These findings highlight the beginning of a social transformation toward wiser and more sustainable financial behavior.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of the Beres Sehari (Rengse Sapoe) service model for Land and Building Tax (Pajak Bumi dan Bangunan/PBB) at the Regional Revenue Agency (Badan Pendapatan Daerah/Bapenda) of Bandung City. The research employs a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collected through interviews and documentation. Data analysis is conducted through three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, while source triangulation is used to ensure the validity and reliability of findings. The results reveal that human resource capacity and stable internet connectivity are key factors for achieving effective and efficient service delivery. Furthermore, the study highlights the importance of developing a dedicated Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for the Rengse Sapoe service to ensure an organized, consistent, and accountable process. Sustainable service development is envisioned through the integration of other public services, including population administration, licensing, motor vehicle tax (PKB) payments, and community-focused activities such as low-cost bazaars. Such integration aims to enhance public accessibility to various essential services beyond PBB transactions. Despite these potentials, several challenges are identified, including the absence of formal documentation for the activities and limited outreach or socialization efforts to the public, which may hinder service optimization. To address these issues, the study recommends preparing formal activity proposals and implementing routine outreach programs to increase public awareness and participation. Overall, the findings contribute to understanding how localized public service innovations, such as Beres Sehari (Rengse Sapoe), can improve tax service delivery while simultaneously fostering public engagement in other administrative and community services. The study emphasizes the necessity of strengthening both operational and promotional strategies to ensure long-term service sustainability and greater societal benefits.
