Abstract

General description of women's participation in the political world in Indonesia representation is very low at all levels of decision making, both at the executive, legislative and judicial levels in the government bureaucracy, political parties both in other public societies. In this case the low quality of women's participation in politics occurs in Bali, namely in the executive ranks. Likewise, at the echelon II level, there were no women who obtained the position, that is, from the number of village heads in Bali there were no women who held more positions as lurah, even if there were only a few. In addition, in the organization of the Lembaga Pemberdayaan Masyarakat (LPM) in Bali, it is rare and there may not be women who become the Bendesa Adat or Bendesa Pakraman. This is also evident in the management of other organizations such as youth clubs and sekuna teruna. In an organization like this it is rare to find women becoming chairpersons or electing a chairperson as chairman or vice chairman. Based on this, a gender perspective is considered by involving men and women in the basic decision-making process of democratic work that will lead to equality.

Abstract

Dysmenorrhea is severe pain in the lower abdomen during menstruation. Dysmenorrhea is one of the health problems that has a high incidence rate worldwide. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between anemia, stress levels, physical activity and fast food consumption with the incidence of primary dysmenorrhea in SMA IT Putri Abu Hurairah Mataram. This research is an observational analytic quantitative research with a cross-sectional study design. The population of this study were all 374 students of SMA IT Putri Abu Hurairah Mataram. The research instruments used were questionnaires in the form of WaLLID score questionnaire, DASS questionnaire, International physical activity questionnaire short form (IFAQ-SF), and Food Frequency Questionnaire (FFQ). Data were analyzed using Spearman, univariate, and bivariate tests. The results showed that (1) there was no significant relationship between anemia and primary dysmenorrhea; (2) there was a significant relationship between stress level and primary dysmenorrhea; (3) there was a significant relationship between physical activity and primary dysmenorrhea; (4) there was a significant relationship between fast food consumption and primary dysmenorrhea.

Abstract

Anaemia in pregnant women is one of the health problems that can adversely affect the mother and fetus. Factors such as gestational age, parity, and Fe tablet consumption compliance are thought to have an association with the incidence of anaemia in pregnant women. The study aims to determine the relationship between gestational age, parity, and compliance with Fe tablet consumption with the incidence of anemia in pregnant women at the Seteluk Health Center. The research method uses observational analytics with a cross-sectional design. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling. The research sample is 76 samples according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data collection is done through questionnaires and medical records. Data analysis is done using the chi-square statistical test. The results showed that 52.6% of respondents had risky gestational age (≥13-40 weeks) and 47.4% were not at risk (<13 weeks). Risky parity (>2 times) was found in 10.5% of respondents, while 89.5% had non-risky parity (≤2 times). Adherence to Fe tablet consumption was 56.6%, while 43.4% were non-compliant. The results of the chi-square statistical test showed a p value for the association of gestational age with anaemia incidence of 0.004, parity of 0.666, and adherence to Fe tablet consumption of 0.023. Conclusion: Gestational age and Fe consumption compliance were associated with anaemia incidence in Seteluk Health Centre. However, parity is not associated with anaemia among pregnant women in Seteluk Health Centre.
