Abstract

Sering kali terdengar oleh kita bahwa banyak anak-anak merasa takut akanpelajaran matematika. Bagi mereka matematika adalah “momok” yang membuat belajar menjadi tidak nyaman. Bahkan kebanyak anak-anak tak ragu-ragu lagi mengatakan “Aku Benci Matematika”. Hal ini menyebabkan anak malas untuk sekolah. Ungkapan seperti itu tak semestinya keluar dari setiap mulut anak, justru sebaliknya mereka harus berani mengatakan “Aku Cinta Matematika”. Untuk menghadapi hal ini diperlukan proses pembelajaran yang manusiawi dan menyenangkan bagi setiap anak didik yang dimulai sejak anak usia dini. Sehingga matematika tidak lagi menjadi pelajaran yang menjadi momok bagi setiap anak dan matematika menjadi kerinduan bagi setiap anak didik dalam proses pembelajaran

Abstract

The problem in this research was the less learning to train students science process skills. This study aimed at determining the positive influence of contextual teaching and learning approach based on inquiry to the skills of science process students of grade XI SMA Unggul N 4 Palembang. The research method used was quasi experimental design. Population in this research were all class XI MIPA SMA Unggul N 4 Palembang. Technique of collecting data was using observation. Based on the results obtained average score of the overall skills of the students science process of 2.53 with high category (in the range 1-4). So it can be concluded that the contextual teaching and learning approach based on inquiry have a positive effect on students science process skill.

Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this research is to analyze Kolb-Knisley model to the students' reasoning ability of SMP. This research is library litelatur so that the data collection method used is documentation, that is, to track the written source which contains the theme and topic to be discussed. This research type is qualitative , furthermore this research is done by seeing and connecting which characteristic of indicator of mathematical reasoning ability with characteristic of Kolb-Knisley model itself. From the results of research litelatur data can be concluded that the mathematical reasoning ability of students who learn with Kolb-Knisley model better than students who learn with conventional strategies in junior high school students. Keywords: Kolb Knisley, reasoning ability Abstrak. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis model  Kolb- Knisley terhadap kemampuan penalaran siswa SMP.penelitian ini adalah litelatur perpustakaan sehingga metode pengumpulan data yang di gunakan adalah dokumentasi, yaitu melacak sumber tertulis yang berisikan tema dan topik yang akan di bahas jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif, selanjutnya penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara melihat dan menghubungkan yang menjadi ciri khas dari indikator kemampuan penalaran matematis dengan karakteristik model Kolb- Knisley itu sendiri. Dari hasil penelitian litelatur data dapat di simpulkan bahwa kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa yang belajar dengan model  Kolb- Knisley lebih baik di bandingkan siswa yang belajar dengan strategi konvensional pada siswa SMP. Kata kunci: Kolb Knisley, kemampuan penalaran

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this research is to find out whether or not there is an influence oflearning model creative problem solving on the ability of mathematical problem solving and mathematical disposition of students in Palembang 19 Junior High School. This research is an experimental study with the treatment design of Posttest-Only Control Design. The population in this study were all class VII Palembang 19 State Junior High Schools. The cluster sampling technique obtained class VII.1 as an experimental class and class VII.2 as a control class. The experimental class is treated withlearning models creative problem solving, while the control class is treated with conventional learning. Data collection techniques using tests and questionnaires. Data analysis technique uses t test (independent sample t-test). Based on the results of the analysis 1) there is the influence oflearning model creative problem solving on the mathematical problem-solving ability of students of SMP Negeri 19 Palembang. 2) there is the influence of learning models creative problem solving on mathematical dispositions of students of Palembang State 19 Middle School.Keywords: Problem Solving Ability, Creative Problem Solving Learning Model, Mathematical Disposition

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah ada peningkatan kemampuan representasi matematis melalui model pembelajaran Means-Ends Analysis siswa kelas VII. Adapun rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini yakni apakah ada peningkatan kemampuan representasi matematis melalui model pembelajaran Means-Ends Analysis pokok bahasan operasi pada pecahan siswa kelas VII. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 4 Lalan dengan subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII yang berjumlah 32 orang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Pre-experimental dengan desain pembelajaran The One-Group Pretest-Postest Design. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu Pretest dan Posttest. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji gain ternormalisasi (N-Gain). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa ada peningkatan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa melalui model pembelajaran Means-Ends Analysis dengan indeks N-Gain diperoleh 0,79 dan termasuk dalam kriteria tinggi.

Abstract

The era is increasingly sophisticated and modern so that every teacher must be innovative and creative in choosing a learning model to improve students 'abilities, especially students' mathematical problem solving abilities so that. This research is an experimental study with Posttest-Only Control Design. The study was conducted in class X TO 4 and X TO 6 SMK PGRI 2 Palembang in the academic year 2018-2019 with a test at the end of the meeting as a tool to measure students' mathematical problem solving abilities with results of tcount 2,693 thus it can be concluded that there was a significant effect of Realistic Matematic learning model Education (RME) on mathematical problem solving skills of students of SMK PGRI 2 Palembang.

Abstract

This study aims to determine students' conceptual understanding proficiency of twofold integral material through distance learning during the covid-19. This study use qualitative research with descriptive methods. The students' conceptual understanding proficiency was measured by indicators of concept understanding which consist of: 1) restating a concept, 2) presenting the concept in various forms of mathematical representation, 3) using, utilizing and selecting certain procedures or operations, 4) applying concepts and problem solving algorithms . The distance learning process is implemented using the WhatsApp application, google classroom, and google form. The subjects in this study were 63 students in the fourth semester of the 2019/2020 academic year Mathematics Education Study Program, Faculty of Education and Teacher Training, UIN Raden Fatah Palembang. Data were collected through tests and questionnaires. The data were analyzed by reduction process, data display, and conclusion. The results showed that more than 70% of students understood the concept of twofold integral material through distance learning (PJJ) well, and students’ promblem about concept of twofold integral material which was influenced by internal and external factors that occurred during PJJ.

Abstract

Mathematics is a subject that has an important role in the world of education, but not all students can solve mathematical problems well and correctly. This can be seen from the students' mathematics learning outcomes which are still low, therefore it can be said that the problem-solving process is still considered difficult by students. This research aims to design more effective learning and motivate students to learn to improve their mathematical problem-solving abilities. This type of research is called Classroom Action Research (PTK). The subjects of this research were 20 grade 8 students at one of the Junior High Schools (SMP) in Sungai Rotan District, Muara Enim Regency. This research uses test and non-test data collection techniques. The data analysis stage was carried out with quantitative data, namely from the results of the pre-test and post-test as well as the results of observations in each cycle. In this study, an assessment score of 10-100 was used. Based on the results of research conducted at one of the junior high schools where this research took place, it can be concluded that using the Polya model problem-solving learning method can improve students' mathematical problem-solving abilities.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the learning interest of SMK Negeri 1 Prabumulih students on logarithm material through the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model. The research methodology used is descriptive qualitative. Thirty-one students from class X Accounting 2 were selected as research subjects for this study. Questionnaires about students' interest in learning which included 15 positive and negative statements served as the research instrument. Microsoft Excel was used to process data from the answers given by students on the questionnaire. The research findings indicate that students' enthusiasm in learning is 79,76%, which falls into the Strong group, when looking at the average percentage of all indicators. As a result, it can be concluded that the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model on logarithm material was successful in encouraging students in class X Accounting 2 at SMK Negeri 1 Prabumulih to respond positively to their mathematical lessons.

Abstract

Pendidikan memegang peran krusial dalam pembangunan suatu negara, dan kualitas pendidikan menjadi penentu utama kemajuan. Artikel ini membahas kesulitan siswa dalam memahami materi trigonometri, sub-bidang matematika yang krusial untuk ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi. Kendala utama terletak pada penerapan rumus trigonometri. Dengan fokus pada analisis literatur, penelitian ini mengusulkan strategi perbaikan, termasuk penggunaan media matematika konkret dan digital. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media pembelajaran konkret dan digital memiliki dampak positif signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Pengembangan metode pembelajaran responsif terhadap kebutuhan siswa dan evaluasi terhadap strategi pembelajaran menjadi penting. Rekomendasi ini dapat membantu guru dan institusi pendidikan dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran matematika, memberikan alternatif metode yang menarik, dan meningkatkan motivasi siswa untuk memahami trigonometri secara lebih efektif.
