Abstract

Islamic boarding school (Pesantren) as educational institutions have problems about personal hygiene and hygiene during menstruation. Therefore, it is necessary to have health education programs to change personal hygiene behaviour and hygiene during menstruation which aim at improving the female students health status. This research aims at analyzing the influence of health education on female students behavior about personal hygiene and hygiene during menstruation at Dormitory X Darul Ulum Pondok Pesantren Darul Ulum Jombang. The research design used SOR theory (Organism-Stimulus-Response). Stimulus is giving intervention health education which includes personal hygiene and hygiene during menstruation. The research method used lectures with a slides and booklets aid. Pretest was conducted before the treatment and posttest was conducted after 3 times the interventions. The subject of the research was female students of dormitory X Pondok Pesantren Darul Ulum Jombang. Expected response of this research is change knowledge, attitude and practice of personal hygiene and hygiene during menstruation. The result can be said that health education significantly affects their knowledge, attitude, and practice regarding personal hygiene. It also significanly affects their knowledge, attitude, and practice of hygiene during menstruation.

Abstract

Adolescence can be said to be a period of storm and stress, which is characterized by disequilibrium or imbalance of attitudes and emotions, which makes adolescents easily change, fluctuate, and uncertain. Adolescence is also a period of transition where at that time it was necessary to adjust from childhood to adulthood. Adolescents who have not been able to solve the problems experienced will lead to prolonged conflict, the inability to face existing problems can cause frustration and bring up aggressive reactions. The purpose of this study is to find out the factors related to the aggressiveness of adolescents who live in the boarding school. This study uses a descriptive correlation design using a cross sectional approach. The study was conducted in Islamic boarding schools with a sample of 150 santri. The sampling technique used was proportionate stratified random sampling. The measuring instrument used is a questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability. This study uses univariate and bivariate analysis using chi-square test. The results of the study revealed that there was a significant effect (P value <0.05) between parenting (p value = 0.000), and the aggressive behavior of adolescents in boarding schools. And there was a significant effect (P value <0.05) between peers (p value = 0.003), with the aggressive behavior of adolescents in boarding schools. The environment has a large influence on adolescent behavior. With the imitation process they learn to do the same thing as they can witness with their aggressive behavior.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Dormitory is a place for both formal and non-formal education. Santri follows all activities in dormitory and almost spends all of his time to following all rules and regulations in dormitory. Santri may not leave the dormitory without permission from the supervisor and may not carry communication devices or electronics, students who came have different cultural backgrounds and the intensity of time to meet among roommates longer so that the risk for acts of bullying behavior is higher among peers. The purpose of this study is to explore the experience of students during the GPM program in dipesantren. The research method uses descriptive qualitative phenomenology, with the determination of participants using purposive sampling, participants are students who take the GPM program totaling 5 respondents. Data collection techniques with in-depth interviews after that the data were analyzed to determine the sub themes and themes, the results of this study resulted in four themes namely (1) mutual respect, (2) providing assistance, (3) increasing motivation, (4) feeling happy. This research can increase students' self-awareness and understanding of bullying behavior which should not be carried out continuously. Santri feels happy and there is no sense of worry or fear when together with friends.Keywords ; experience, GPM program, students

Abstract

Teenagers aged 12-15 years usually experience menstruation. This condition usually occurs once a month. Usually the menstrual period is between 3-7 days. During menstruation, you will usually experience mood changes caused by hormonal changes in a person's body and this happens during menstruation. Young women who first experience menstruation mostly feel worried and feel uncomfortable when they come to their months, thus limiting their activities. In addition, a long menstrual cycle scares because of bleeding. Knowledge of menstruation, menstrual cycle, and menstrual disorders experienced is very important for young women. The purpose of this study is to determine the level of reproductive health knowledge about menstrual health in early adolescents who live in boarding schools. this study uses pure descriptive, the sampling technique using purposive sampling. And data analysis using frequency distribution using SPSS 15 software. The instrument used is a questionnaire to measure the level of knowledge of adolescents who have been validated. Based on respondents' data from the level of knowledge about understanding menstruation as much as 41% (23 people) had a good level of knowledge, 18 people (32%) had sufficient knowledge and the remaining 26.8% (15 people) had less knowledge. While seen from the level of knowledge related to the menstrual cycle, most respondents had less knowledge about the menstrual cycle as much as 42.8% (24 people) and as many as 25% (14 people) had a good level of knowledge. Furthermore, based on the level of knowledge of respondents to menstrual disorders, most are still lacking as much as 46.4% (26 people) and the remaining 14 people (25%) have a sufficient level of knowledge of menstrual disorders Keywords: Health, menstruation, reproduction, adolescence.

Abstract

Kecemasan merupakan perasaan khawatir atau gelisah yang biasa dialami oleh banyak orang dalam berbagai situasi. Santri baru, yang merupakan siswa di pondok pesantren juga dapat mengalami kecemasan dalam berbagai bentuk. seperti mengalami kecapean, sulit melakukan penyesuaian adaptasi dengan lingkungan barunya sehingga banyak yang tidak krasan tinggal di pondok, kangen dengan keluarga dirumah, banyak yang masih nangis dan minta boyong. santri yang tidak betah tinggal dipondok karena bosan tidak ada teman bermain dan banyak menyendiri, takut mau kumpul dengan teman-teman lainnya dan juga ada perasaan khawatir tidak bisa mengikuti kegiatan dipondok. Gerakan curhat yuk merupakan progam yang bertujuan untuk membantu seseorang dalam mengekspresikan perasaannya, menceritkan berbagai permasalahan yang dapat mengurangi beban pikiran dan membuatk mereka semakin rileks dengan beberapa kegiatan yang dilakukan. Progam dari Gerakan curhat yuk diantaranya terlaksananya kegiatan penyuluhan terkait masalah seputar kesehatan pada santri baru, kemudian skrining tingkat kecemasan santri baru dan selanjutnya diberikan intervensi pada seluruh santri baru yang mengalami cemas dengan Latihan senam otot relaksasi dan curhat terkait seputar permasalahan yang dihadapi bersama dengan tim abdimas dan kader sehat santri pada santri Al-Falah. Kegiatan dari Gerakan curhat yuk terbukti dapat menurunkan tingkat kecemasan santri baru, dengan saling sharing dan mendapatkan dukungan dari teman-teman kader  sehingga mereka merasa tidak sendirian dan  tidak takut lagi dengan pengalaman baru mereka tinggal di asrama.

Abstract

Darul Ulum Islamic Boarding School is a pesantren that offers formal and non-formal education programs. They also have other activities and demands such as studying at school, completing many assignments, demanding grades, taking final exams at Islamic boarding schools, and having to be able to manage study time, which is a particular burden for the santri. This does not rule out the possibility of causing students to feel tired, burdened, bored, and stressed. Previous studies, it was shown that the percentage of Indonesian adolescents who experience stress increases every year, reaching 6 percent of the total population, explaining that one of the sources of stress among students is studying. Academic stress is a source of stress from the teaching and learning process, such as pressure to go to school, lots of homework, exams, time management, and lots of memorization that must be learned by students or students who live in Islamic boarding schools. In dealing with stressful situations, a person needs social support, and the most important source of social support for adolescents is peers. Based on the background description above, researchers looked at the effectiveness of Self Help Group therapy on stress levels. The method used was Pre-Experimental with the One Group Pre-Post Test Design. The instrument in this study used the Operational Procedure Unit and the DASS questionnaire sheet which consisted of 14 questions that measured stress levels. The population of this research is all Indonesian boarding students who will face their final Islamic boarding school exams. The samples taken in this study were 30 respondents. The results of the study with the Wilcoxon test obtained P = 0.000 so that P <0.05 there was an effect of SHG therapy on stress levels. Through self-help groups, they feel supported and respect each other. When implementing a self-help group, the support provided by each member includes emotional support, positive support, and social support which shows that a person is valued, loved, and cared for, and each member shares information with one another. Abstrak Pesantren Darul Ulum merupakan pesantren yang menawarkan program pendidikan formal dan non formal. Mereka juga memiliki kegiatan dan tuntutan lain seperti belajar di sekolah, menyelesaikan banyak tugas, menuntut nilai, mengikuti ujian akhir di pesantren, dan harus bisa mengatur waktu belajar, yang menjadi beban tersendiri bagi santri. Hal ini tidak menutup kemungkinan menyebabkan siswa merasa lelah, terbebani, bosan dan stress. dari penelitian sebelumnya menunjukkan bahwa persentase remaja Indonesia yang mengalami stres meningkat setiap tahunnya, mencapai 6 persen dari total populasi, menjelaskan bahwa salah satu sumber stres di kalangan pelajar adalah belajar. Stres akademik adalah sumber stres dari proses belajar mengajar, seperti tekanan untuk pergi ke sekolah, banyaknya pekerjaan rumah, ujian, manajemen waktu, dan banyaknya hafalan yang harus dipelajari siswa atau siswa yang tinggal di pondok pesantren. Dalam menghadapi situasi stres, seseorang membutuhkan dukungan sosial, dan sumber dukungan sosial terpenting bagi remaja adalah teman sebaya, Berdasarkan uraian latar belakang diatas, peneliti melihat efektivitas terapi Self Help Group terhadap tingkat stress di mana setiap anggota kelompok mengungkapkan berbagi permasalahan yang mereka alami, menceritakan tentang perasaan mereka, saling menasihati dan mampu memecahkan atau mengatasi masalah yang mereka hadapi, semua untuk memberikan dukungan dan motivasi kepada setiap individu, banyak dari mereka yang dapat mengatasi stresnya dengan terapi tersebut.. Metode yang digunakan Pra Ekperimental dengan desaign One Grup Pra-Post Test Design, Instrumen dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Satuan Operasional Prosedur dan lembar kuisioner DASS yang terdiri dari 14 pertanyaan yang mengukur tingkat  stres. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh santri asrama nusantara sebanyak 105 orang. Pengambilan sampel dengan menggunkan purposive sampling, Sampel yang diambil dalam penelitian ini sejumlah 30 responden pada seluruh santri yang akan menjalani ujian akhir diniyah. Hasil dari penelitian dengan uji wilcoxon diperoleh hasil P = 0,000 sehingga  P < 0,05 terdapat pengaruh terapi SHG terhadap tingkat stress. Melalui self help group, Mereka merasa mendapat dukungan dan saling menghargai satu sama lain. Saat menerapkan self help group, dukungan yang diberikan oleh setiap anggota meliputi dukungan emosional, dukungan positif, dukungan sosial yang menunjukkan bahwa seseorang dihargai, dicintai dan diperhatikan, dan setiap anggota saling berbagi informasi.

Abstract

Elderly people can cause various problems, both general and specific, several causes that cause various problems in the elderly, one of which is psychological conditions. Impaired self-esteem in the elderly is one of the factors that causes a decline in self-identity, including pressure caused by people closest to them, such as family who lack confidence in them, pressure from peer groups. The aim of this research is a to identify the self-esteem of the elderly before and after being given humor therapy. Pre-Experimental Research Design with a One Group Pre-Post Test Design approach, using a non-probability sampling technique, purposive sampling method. The total population is 70 respondents. The sample in this study was 30 respondents who had lived in the orphanage for less than 6 months, experienced HDR, were deaf and blind. Humor therapy is given once every 30 minutes. The therapy instrument uses SOP and the RSES questionnaire. The test analysis used is the paired T-Test (α 0.05). The results of the study showed that there was an increase in self-esteem in the elderly after humor therapy with P value (0.00) < α. Humor therapy intervention can significantly be used as an alternative to increase the self-esteem of the elderly. Showing humorous films stimulates respondents to relax and improves mood, reducing depression. ABSTRAK Lanjut usia dapat menimbulkan berbagai masalah baik itu yang bersifat umum maupun yang bersifat khusus, beberapa penyebab yang menimbulkan berbagai permasalahan pada lanjut usia salah satunya  kondisi psikologis. Gangguan harga diri lansia adalah salah satu faktor yang menyebabkan penurunan identitas diri meliputi tekanan yang disebabkan dari orang-orang terdekat seperti keluarga yang kurang percaya akan dirinya, tekanan dari kelompok sebaya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi harga diri lansia sebelum dan sesudah diberikan terapi humor. Desain Penelitian Pra Ekperimental pendekatan One Group Pra-Post Test Design, menggunakan teknik Nonprobality sampling metode purposive sampling. Jumlah populasi 70 responden. Sampel dalam penelitian ini 30 responden yang tinggal di panti kurang dari 6 bulan, mengalami HDR, tidak tuna rungu dan tuna netra. Terapi humor diberikan selama 1 kali dalam 30 menit. Instrumen terapi menggunakan SOP dan kuesioner RSES. Analisis uji yang digunakan adalah paired T-Test (α 0,05). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan harga diri pada lansia setelah dilakukan terapi humor dengan P value (0,00) < α. Intervensi terapi humor secara signifikan dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif dalam meningkatkan harga diri lansia. Tayangan film humor menstimulus responden menjadi rileks dan meningkatkan mood, mengurangi depresi.

Abstract

Self-esteem is a very important aspect in the process of adolescent santri self-development, because it can affect their emotional experience and psychological adjustment. For this reason, self-esteem is very dependent on the perception or mindset that is lived. Therefore, low self-esteem is influenced by the perception of an individual's assessment of himself. This mindset, which is not necessarily entirely correct, can be reconstructed to be more positive through positive self-talk so that adolescent students can have a better perception of themselves. Positive self-talk training is a process of training conversations with oneself to define feelings, judgements, and orders towards oneself and reorganise the state of self that needs to be changed. The purpose of this study was to identify the effect of Positive Self-talk Training on increasing the self-esteem of adolescent Santri in Dormitory Al_falah. The research design used is pre-experiment with experimental design one group pre-test - posttest design. Data collection was carried out through the distribution of the Roserberg Self Esteem Scale (RSES) scale, which was taken 30 respondents with purposive sampling technique. Data analysis using the Wilcoxon Test technique. Data analysis using the help of SPSS (Statistical Program For Social Service). The results of the analysis of the effect of positive self-talk training on increasing the self-esteem of adolescent students using the Wilcoxon test at post p = 0.000 (<0.05) which means that H1 is accepted which indicates that there is a significant effect on post-treatment of the effect of positive self-talk training on increasing the self-esteem of adolescent students and experiencing an increase in self-esteem as many as 27 respondents, from the results of the study respondents chose many favorable statements by feeling more valuable and more confident. ABSTRAK Harga diri merupakan aspek yang sangat penting dalam proses perkembangan diri remaja santri, karena dapat mempengaruhi pengalaman emosional dan penyesuaian psikologisnya. Untuk itu harga diri sangat bergantung pada persepsi atau pola pikir yang dijalani. Maka dari itu harga diri yang rendah dipengaruhi oleh persepsi atas penilaian individu terhadap dirinya. Pola pikir yang belum tentu sepenuhnya benar ini dapat direkonstruksi menjadi lebih positif melalui positif self-talk sehingga remaja santri dapat lebih memiliki persepsi yang lebih baik terhadap dirinya. Positive self-talk training adalah suatu proses pelatihan percakapan dengan dirinya sendiri untuk mendefinisikan perasaan, penilaian, dan perintah  terhadap dirinya sendiri dan mengatur kembali keadaan diri yang perlu dirubah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi Pengaruh Positive Self-talk Training Terhadap Peningkatan Harga Diri Remaja Santri di Asrama Al-Falah. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah pra-eksprimen dengan rancangan eksperimen one group pre-test – posttest design. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penyebaran skala Roserberg Harga Diri Scale (RSES), yang mana diambil 30 responden dengan teknik sampling purposive sampling. Analisis data menggunakan teknik Uji Wilcoxon. Analisis data dengan menggunakan bantuan SPSS (Statistical Program For Social Service). Hasil analisa pengaruh positive self-talk training terhadap peningkatan harga diri remaja santri menggunakan uji Wilcoxon pada post p = 0,000 (<0,05) yang berarti H1 diterima yang menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap post perlakuan pengaruh positive self-talk training terhadap peningkatan harga diri remaja santri dan mengalami peningkatan harga diri sebanyak 27 responden, dari hasil penelitian responden banyak memilih pernyataan favorable dengan merasa lebih berharga dan lebih percaya diri.

Abstract

Cervical cancer is one of the types of cancer that is most often suffered by women, not only in Indonesia but also throughout the world with the second largest number suffered by women in Indonesia, after breast cancer, in terms of the number of incidents or cases as well as the death rate. The aim of this research is to determine knowledge about cervical cancer in WUS (women of childbearing age) at the Unipdu Jombang Women's Study Center. The type of research used in this research is descriptive which is carried out to determine the value of the independent variable. This research was conducted at the Unipdu Jombang Women's Study Center. The population in this study were all women of childbearing age who came to visit the Unipdu Jombang women's study center event. The sample in this study was a total sampling of 54 people. The instrument used was a questionnaire regarding knowledge of cervical cancer. Results: almost half of them were early elderly as many as 25 respondents (46.3%) and late adults as many as 20 respondents (37.1%), and most of them had tertiary education as many as 32 respondents (59.3%), and the knowledge category was 31. respondents (57.4%). Based on the results of research carried out describing the level of knowledge of women of childbearing age about cervical cancer at the Unipdu Jombang Women's Study Center, most of them are still in the poor category. Therefore, there is a need to provide education to women of childbearing age about cervical cancer and attitudes towards early prevention with pap smear examinations.
