Abstract

The 5S work culture is a work method created by Japan that implements the regulation and structuring of the work environment. One of the objectives of this study is to find out the design of 5S (Seiri, Seiton, Seisou, Seiketsu, and Shitsuke) in PT. Andalas Citra Elektrindo to observe the problems of working conditions so as to increase work efficiency and comfort. This study uses a descriptive research approach. The object of the research is on the production floor of PT. Andalas Citra Elektrindo which has not implemented 5S. The data collection technique was carried out using observation/observation techniques. Data obtained from direct observation on the production floor. The instrument used is to use a checklist instrument. The results of this research are the design of 5S work culture and the layout of the responsibility map of each department using Microsoft Visio 2016 software and the creation of 5S procedure forms.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menentukan model pengendalian persediaan bahan baku kayu mebel yang optimal pada PT. Nusantara Door Industry Percut melalui metode persediaan dinamis dengan mempertimbangkan ketidakpastian permintaan. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan tahapan klasifikasi bahan baku menggunakan metode ABC, peramalan permintaan menggunakan Single Exponential Smoothing, uji distribusi menggunakan Chi-Square, serta perhitungan model persediaan dinamis dengan ketidakpastian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kayu SK/Durian, Meranti Bukit, dan Merbau termasuk bahan baku prioritas. Uji Chi-Square menunjukkan bahwa permintaan kayu Merbau tidak berdistribusi normal, sehingga dianalisis menggunakan model dinamis dengan ketidakpastian. Hasil perhitungan menghasilkan safety stock sebesar 36,16 m³ pada Agustus dan 42,13 m³ pada Oktober, dengan jumlah pemesanan optimal 12,834 m³ dan 28,834 m³. Metode usulan mampu menurunkan total biaya persediaan dari Rp2.428.949.393,219 menjadi Rp2.142.904.114,318, dengan penghematan sekitar 12%.
